My name is Emma and I am originally from Ireland. I moved to Amsterdam almost 3 years ago. I am offering my services because I genuinely love the company of animals and would love to spend more time with them as I currently don't have a pet myself. Before moving here, I have always had dogs, and still have my beloved dog Joey at home in Ireland with my parents.

I have a lot of experience caring for animals, particularly cats and dogs. I have fostered cats here in Amsterdam (see pics) and often took care of dogs back home in Ireland for family and friends who were on holiday. I have experience with both young and older animals and am happy to cater my care to their unique needs. I understand the feeling of anxiety leaving your pet with a sitter and would of course provide regular updates on your furry friend if they are in my care. I am based in Buitenveldert, a short walk from the Amsterdamse Bos which is the perfect place for walking dogs. If your dog is in my care I am happy to walk them as many times per day as they are used to so they can keep to their usual routine. I live with my partner and between us both there is always someone at home, so your pet will never be left alone. I can take one dog at a time, or if you have two I am happy to discuss caring from them both if they are coming from the same home. I have experience administering medication to dogs and cats and am happy to do this with your pet if they are in my care. For everyone's safety, I can only care for vaccinated pets at this time.
