I grew up in Istanbul, a city famous for its street cats, where caring for animals was just part of everyday life. I volunteered with stray animal care — feeding, vaccinating, supporting adoptions. It shaped how I see animals: every single one deserves patience, attention, and to feel safe.
Now I live in Almere with my two cats, Shila and Nemo. Nemo came a long way to find us — found on the street, taken in by a shelter, then placed with a foster family. When we adopted him, he was anxious and gentle and not ready for another change. We gave him soft music, long play sessions, unconditional love, and all the time he needed. Watching him slowly open up was one of the most rewarding things I've experienced. It taught me that real care isn't just about feeding and cleaning — it's about truly seeing an animal and meeting them where they are.

Ik ben opgegroeid in Istanbul, een stad die bekend staat om zijn straatkatten. Daar leerde ik voor dieren zorgen als iets vanzelfsprekends — ik deed vrijwilligerswerk voor zwerfdierenonvang, hielp met voeren, vaccineren en adoptieondersteuning.
Nu woon ik in Almere met mijn twee katten, Shila en Nemo. Nemo heeft een lange weg afgelegd — gevonden op straat, opgevangen door een dierenasiel en tijdelijk geplaatst bij een pleeggezin. Toen we hem adopteerden, was hij angstig en gevoelig — nog niet klaar voor weer een grote verandering. Met zachte muziek, lange speelsessies, onvoorwaardelijke liefde en veel geduld zagen we hem langzaam openbloeien. Die ervaring leerde me dat echte zorg verder gaat dan voeren en verschonen — het gaat om een dier echt zien en begrijpen.
Ik werk vanuit huis, dus jouw huisdier is nooit alleen. Ze krijgen gezelschap, speeltijd en iemand die de kleine dingen opmerkt.
Ik gebruik zelf ook oppasservices als we op vakantie gaan — voor Shila en Nemo. Dus ik weet precies hoe jij je voelt als je jouw huisdier achterlaat. Die mix van schuldgevoel en bezorgdheid is heel herkenbaar. From My Childhood Dog to Yours
I grew up with my grandparents’ dog, a fluffy Shih Tzu who was always by my side. She needed constant supervision, attention, and care - regular walks, feeding, play, and lots of love. Growing up with her taught me patience, responsibility, and how deep the bond between a dog and a human can be.
I truly believe that the greatest fear dogs know is the fear that you won’t come back when you walk out the door without them. I want to be there for them in those moments- for a little walk, a bit of talk, quiet company, and friendship - just like dogs were there for me when I was a child.
I miss my dog very much, and caring for other dogs feels like a way to pass that love forward. I treat every pet gently and with full attention, making sure they feel safe, seen, and cared for. Animals always were part of my life. When I was born my aunt and uncle gave my older brother "Manchita" a Dalmatian puppy  So I grew up with Manchita and she was always my best friend and companion.
We always had many animals like cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, fish        
A very curious fact is that we also had a penguin that we rescued on the beach, because it was separated from his family and was very small and weak. After 1 year he grew and became beautiful and strong and we returned him to the sea it’s was amazing and little sad too we miss him 🥹
The most difficult thing about this experience is missing our family and friends but even more our faithful companions: our animals because we cannot talk to them on a cell phone, their affection is the most sincere 
I you’d love be a pet sitter and I am sure that I will do very well because I love animals, and I always take care Nala (dog) when my friend Santi went on holidays I went to his house to take care of her. Also on weekends I take care of Rocco (dog on 3rd photo) and Maria Rita (cat on the 2nd photo) from my parter Ale, because he works at weekends. I enjoyed being with them and I care about their well-being. I have experience taking care of them 
In the apartment were I am living is not allowed to have pets so I can't offer dog boarding services :/ But I am available for the other services :) I love walks in the park and I am very responsible and careful in case I have to administer any medication, I work 8 hours only 4 days a week so I have plenty of availability and I can also stay at the pets house any day of the week.


Hi! I'm an affable, energetic and social first year student at Uva, with a passion for animal rights and welfare! I've grown up being around dogs, and since I can't be around my pets back home, I would love to help you take care of yours! Since I'm a student, I can't keep pets at my place, but I offer to petsit your dog at your house, stop by to feed them once or twice a day, take them for walks, groom them and feed them. I'm available on Mondays after 4:30 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays after 2:30 pm and Friday through Sunday from 12 pm.I can also help in watering your plants, and doing odd tasks around the house. I'm comfortable with small dog breeds, and have a pug and a cocker pug back home! I'm also comfortable with most big dog breeds since I have experience from volunteering at animal shelters back home, and taking rescue dogs on walks.
