Originally from Brazil, I’ve been calling Amsterdam home for the past 10 years, where I live with my husband and our three lovely cats: Artemísia, Kimchi, and Agnès. They’re all different ages (7, 3, and 2 years old). Before having my own furry trio, I used to look after my friends’ cats whenever they traveled, which means I’m experienced in caring for cats with all kinds of personalities and needs.
I’m currently taking a career break from my work as a translator, so I have plenty of time to give your feline family the attention, care, and playtime they deserve.
I’m available for daily visits in Amsterdam Zuid, Amsterdam Oost, Amsterdam Zuidoost, Diemen, Weesp, and Abcoude.

What services I provide: 
- I can come to your home and be company for your pet whenever you are away for a long time or have a young pet. This includes providing food, playing, some training (if your pet feels like it), making sure the animal is relaxed and had enough sleep.
- Take your dog for a walk. This includes all activities during the walk (playing, training), coming back home, washing paws and providing food after if necessary. 
- Come to provide the basics - put fresh meal and water, clean litter box.
I work with dogs up to 12kg, puppies, adult cats and kittens. I communicate with a pet based on a pet's behaviour and owner's request (if your pet is not very social and prefers to keep distance, I respect it and don't force the contact). 
Please note: 
- I do not take dogs to my home
- I cannot stay overnight at your place
- I take care of pets of one household at a time only! That means your pets get my full attention and I don't walk with 10 dogs at the same time.
- I can take my own dog with a walk with yours (social walk) if I feel they would be a good match and if the owner would like it. Then, my dog is supervised by my partner and your dog is supervised by me. 


Mijn naam is Fikret. Ik ben afgestudeerd en werkzaam als fysiotherapeut en maatschappelijk hulpverlener. In mijn werk staan zorg, observatie en begeleiding centraal. Vanuit mijn grote liefde voor honden heb ik mij bij Pawshake aangemeld om mijn kennis van hondengedrag, beweging en welzijn verder te verdiepen en in de praktijk toe te passen. Volgend jaar start ik met de opleiding tot dierenfysiotherapeut.
Ik ben van jongs af aan opgegroeid met honden en heb door de jaren heen zelf meerdere huisdieren gehad. Hoewel mijn ervaring als officiële hondenoppas nog beperkt is, heb ik wél veel ervaring met het dagelijks leven met honden en het lezen van hun gedrag en lichaamstaal. Ik ben gewend verantwoordelijkheid te dragen en zorgvuldig te observeren wat een dier nodig heeft.
Elke hond is uniek en heeft zijn eigen tempo, behoeften en grenzen. Tijdens het oppassen creëer ik een omgeving waarin een hond zich veilig, rustig en begrepen kan voelen. Structuur en duidelijkheid zijn voor mij belangrijk: honden weten bij mij waar ze aan toe zijn, wat zorgt voor ontspanning en vertrouwen.
Mijn hondenoppas is gericht op maatwerk. Ik bied passende wandelingen, voldoende beweging, mentale uitdaging en rustmomenten, afgestemd op de leeftijd, conditie en het karakter van de hond. Ik hou zelf erg van lange wandelingen in de natuur, maar pas dit altijd aan aan wat voor de hond prettig en verantwoord is.
Ook voor seniorenhonden, honden met een blessure, herstel na een operatie of extra ondersteuningsbehoefte kan ik rustige en zorgvuldige begeleiding bieden. Dankzij mijn achtergrond als fysiotherapeut observeer ik beweging en gedrag nauwkeurig en stem ik mijn zorg hierop af.
Ik werk met geduld, positieve begeleiding en duidelijke structuur. Betrouwbaarheid, veiligheid en goede communicatie zijn voor mij vanzelfsprekend. Tijdens de oppasperiode houd ik je graag op de hoogte met updates.
In geval van een noodsituatie neem ik altijd direct contact op met het baasje. Indien nodig overleg ik ook met de dierenarts, zodat er snel en verantwoord gehandeld kan worden. Het welzijn van jouw hond staat daarbij altijd voorop.

Dierenverzorging doe ik nu ondertussen al zo 'n 15 jaar. Jaren lang heb ik dieren verzorgd in Amstelveen , Aalsmeer en in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. 
Medicatie toedienen is voor mij geen probleem , ook insuline kan ik inspuiten.
De kattenbak verschoon ( of schep ik leeg )ik ook uiteraard bij elke bezoek
Naast uw dieren verzorgen draag ik zo nodig ook bij voor het verzorgen van uw planten en zorg ervoor dat de post uit het zicht wordt gehaald.
