Naast uw dieren verzorgen draag ik zo nodig ook bij voor het verzorgen van uw planten en zorg ervoor dat de post uit het zicht wordt gehaald.

Hi! I'm currently pursuing my master's degree here in Amsterdam. I had to leave my dog (german shepherd) and two cats (both rescue) back at home :( but planning to bring them here soon hopefully. My older cat is 5 years old, an orange chubby girl, named Sophie and I recently rescued my second baby, Sparrow, when she was 2-weeks old, alone and sick :( but I nursed her back to health and now she’s doing great!My dog, Brave, is my third german shepperd, he is now a 4-year-old handsome shepperd. Why choose me?  Hi, I'm Audrey, an American based in Abcoude who loves dogs and has experience dog-sitting, dog-walking &amp; house-sitting. Background &amp; Experience  I grew up with a springer spainel and later a chocolate labrador. Back in America, I frequently dog sat (simultaneously house sat). I also volunteered my time walking dogs at local animal shelters while in college. I can't take care of dogs at home because I have a cat at home right now, but my cat is docile and friendly, so I can take care cats at home! I can care for your cats and dogs in their own home. there is a big lake, a long walking route and a dog beach near my house. I also provide pet sitting services, where I ensure that your dog is never left alone for more than 3 hours during boarding and no longer than 1 hour during daycare. If your pet requires medication, I am experienced in administering both oral and topical treatments. While I don’t offer formal training or grooming services, I can help reinforce any training routines you have in place. For boarding, I limit the number of dogs to ensure personalized care and attention, typically taking care of only one dog at a time unless they are from the same household.
What My Home Is Like

I live with two Italian roommates in a cozy, pet-friendly apartment on the ground floor of a quiet neighborhood in Amsterdam (Bijlmer). Our home has a private backyard, providing a secure and convenient space for your dog to enjoy some fresh air and playtime. Additionally, we have direct access to a lovely little park right in front of our building, perfect for quick walks or a bit of outdoor relaxation. We’re also less than 100 meters from Nelson Mandela Park, a beautiful area with plenty of greenery and a more natural, less urban environment. This makes it an ideal spot for longer walks and exploration. In my home, guest pets are allowed to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, whether it’s on a cozy bed I provide or their own bed that you bring along.

What services I provide: 
- I can come to your home and be company for your pet whenever you are away for a long time or have a young pet. This includes providing food, playing, some training (if your pet feels like it), making sure the animal is relaxed and had enough sleep.
- Take your dog for a walk. This includes all activities during the walk (playing, training), coming back home, washing paws and providing food after if necessary. 
- Come to provide the basics - put fresh meal and water, clean litter box.
I work with dogs up to 12kg, puppies, adult cats and kittens. I communicate with a pet based on a pet's behaviour and owner's request (if your pet is not very social and prefers to keep distance, I respect it and don't force the contact). 
Please note: 
- I do not take dogs to my home
- I cannot stay overnight at your place
- I take care of pets of one household at a time only! That means your pets get my full attention and I don't walk with 10 dogs at the same time.
- I can take my own dog with a walk with yours (social walk) if I feel they would be a good match and if the owner would like it. Then, my dog is supervised by my partner and your dog is supervised by me.
