I'm Hugo and I'm from Portugal. I moved to the Netherlands over 2 years ago and it's been an amazing experience so far.
However I do miss the portuguese weather and my pets. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats back home, so I'm used to always have 4 pawed company everywhere I go.
Having the opportunity to pet sit here is just the icing in the cake for me.
I have experience with quite a few animals, back in Portugal, just before moving to the Netherlands I was working as a Zookeeper for one of the biggest zoo's in Portugal.
Some of the animals I was caring for were parrots, eagles, owls, ravens, lemurs, snakes, lizards, turtles and a lot more. I was very lucky to be surrounded by all those species of animals, it was a very fulfilling work for me and I learned a lot during my time there.

Hoi, mijn naam is Thijs! Ik heb jarenlang een lieve Golden Retriever gehad die ik altijd met veel liefde heb verzorgd. We maakten veel wandelingen, hebben veel gespeeld, en ik ben jarenlang met hem naar hondentraining geweest (vooral voor de lol ). 
Helaas is hij onlangs overleden. Ik mis het daarom nu erg om contact te hebben met honden en lekker een blokje om te lopen.
Door mijn jarenlange ervaring weet ik dat uw hond in goede handen zal zijn. Ik herken de lichaamstaal van een hond en weet zo wat ze wel of niet willen. Ik snap dat u niet zomaar uw lieve hond aan een vreemde geeft, maar bij mij is uw hond in veilige handen!
Ik ben in principe alle dagen van de week beschikbaar voor zowel korte als lange wandelingen. Ik kom uw hond bij u ophalen en zal hem/haar bij u in de omgeving uitlaten. We kunnen hierbij uiteraard overleggen over de route en duur (bijvoorbeeld 30 minuten tot 1 uur). Ik kan met alle rassen, groottes en energieniveaus overweg. Als laatste kan ik ook bij u thuis komen om uw hond gezelschap te houden.
Ik kom graag met u in contact zodat we samen in overleg een passende oplossing kunnen vinden zodat uw hond, u zelf, en ik er allemaal blij en gelukkig van worden!

About Me 
Hello, I’m Rachel from Taiwan, now living in Eindhoven with my partner and our two cats, Quinta and Vowvow. We met them when they were kittens at Helmo shelter in 2024, and since then they’ve become a big part of our daily life. I mostly work from home, so I spend a lot of time with them and understand how much cats value companionship and routine.&nbsp;

Why Cat Sitting ️
Since having cats myself, I’ve realized how hard it can be to leave them at home when going on a trip or visiting family abroad. Even being away for just a few days makes me nervous, each second during the trip I think of them and wondering if they are good or not. We have been lucky to have friends who help care for Quinta and Vowvow when we are both away, and it always gives us peace of mind knowing they’re safe and happy. That’s why I would love to offer the same support to other cat owners. I know how important it is to feel that your cats are cared for with love and attention while you’re away.&nbsp;

What I can do 
Everything that makes your cat happy!!&nbsp;
I will make sure your cats are well-fed, have fresh water and a clean litter box, and of course receive cuddles, playtime, and company — of course if they want it :) If your cats have special needs, I’m happy to learn and do my best to provide them with the same care they’re used to.&nbsp;
 My partner and I have a car, so in case of emergency, I can bring them to a nearby vet if necessary. Please let me know in advance the contract of your emergency vet.
 In case your cat has specific routines and more visits are required, we can always discuss what works best.
