Ik heb zelf altijd honden gehad bij mijn ouders. Een Bouvier, poedel en vlinderhondje. De poedel is 16 geworden, de vlinder 17 en onze bouvier is nu 14 jaar oud. Daarnaast heb ik ook altijd paarden, hamsters en vogels gehad. Ik en mijn vriend hebben een Kannichen Teckel genaamd Pichu. Ons engeltje. Hij is een allemansvriend en heeft een warm karakter. Pichu houdt ervan om op avontuur te gaan met mij!
Ik heb op veel soorten honden gepast in mijn leven. Zowel grote als kleine viervoeters. Daarnaast ben ik heel mijn leven lang al omringd door dieren en zal deze liefde ook altijd doorgeven aan mijn naasten.
Verder hou ik ook enorm van wandelen, natuur en paardrijden.

I am working remotely and available throughout the day for a 30 min visit as long as it is within 15 biking minutes of Zaandam. Evening and weekend visits for longer can be arranged. During my visit I will play, cuddle or let your fur baby chill, depending on their personality. I will feed them if they are picky with their food or need it at certain times of the day. I will clean and change their water, scoop out and refill the litter box. Photo and text updates will be sent every visit to assure your kitties are fine. I will also pick up your mail and water your plants if you want. Upon request I can also deep clean the litter box, administer medicine orally or through a needle, handle emergency transportation and vet, pick up supplies.&nbsp;

I’ve always had cats and dogs at home when growing up, so I’m very experienced with animals and know how to read their needs. What I Offer
I’d love to look after your cat whenever you need. There are two options:

  At my place: Your cat can stay with me and Koshka. They’ll receive lots of love and care, but they do need to be social and used to other cats. Please bring your own litter box (not open trays), as Koshka doesn’t like sharing hers.
  At your place: I can come by to check on your cat, feed them, clean their litter, and give them attention and playtime as needed.

&nbsp;Ik ben werkzaam in de GGZ en bij thuiskomst zijn mijn beestjes een heerlijk rustpuntje in mijn soms hectische dagen. Vooral mijn 16 jarige Tweety is een heerlijke knuffel en kletskous, Maus is 4 en de enige stoere kater en dan is er nog Toet, 7 jarige lapjes poes die alles spannend vind. Ze hebben alle 3 zo hun eigen persoonlijkheid ️
Ik heb ervaring als vakantie katten oppas en honden uitlaten bij mensen die dat tijdelijk zelf niet kunnen.  Ik voel voor andermans huisdier dezelfde verantwoordelijkheid als mijn eigen dieren en die is hoog. De diensten die ik kan aanbieden zijn het geven van voedsel, ook speciaal voer, geven van medicatie, uitlaten van honden en planten water geven als gewenst&nbsp;Ik kan helaas geen oppas dieren in huis nemen gezien mijn eigen poezels maar tijdens een huisbezoek blijf ik altijd even zitten om met de beestjes te kroelen en spelen&nbsp;Mijn motivatie om oppas te worden is dat ik het belangrijk vind dat dieren in hun eigen omgeving kunnen blijven als baasjes ze onverhoeds alleen moeten laten.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ik ben beschikbaar voorhuisbezoeken het meest na werktijd, vanaf ongeveer half 7. In het weekend ben ik in de ochtend en middag beschikbaar en op maandag en vrijdag ook. Ik blijf tijdens het huisbezoek minstens een half uur om de beestjes ook te aaien en stuur ook altijd een fotootje naar de baasjes mits dit gewenst is

My name is Catarina and obviously I love dogs.I'm 30 years old and I'm Portuguese.All my life I had cats in my family house, until one day I found an adult dog in a Municipal Kennel and I couldn't take my eyes of him ️His name was Rufus, a beautiful medium black dog.He was afraid of people and very scared of other dogs, almost bitting others.He stayed in my life for only 5 years, the best 5 years of my life.He improved so much with training and love. We went to the beach, parks, vacations, everything together.I learn so much with him and I miss him a lot.He died in 2021 because of Vestibular Syndrome.That is why I want to walk other dog, to fill again the uncondional love that they make us fill and to teach them everything I know.PS: So many years later I now have two beautiful dogs, which is why I remove the services that involves my house. 

At twelve, my family welcomed a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and we grew up side by side for ten years — morning walks, slow winter mornings when his joints ached, and the quiet final chapter. That dog taught me the single most important thing about pet care: pay close attention to both the body and the feelings. He's gone now, but those lessons are still the foundation of how I look after your animals. I now share my home with my cat, so reading both dogs and cats comes naturally to me.

Walks are my favorite part of the job. A leash-free dog run is a five-minute walk from my house, and at home there's a roughly 50㎡ grassy garden your pet can run, sniff, and stretch out on. I pace every walk to the weather, the ground, and your dog's age and energy — seniors, shy pups, and toy breeds are all warmly welcome.

For context: I worked as a hospital pharmacist in Japan. That career shaped me into someone careful, thorough, and dependable — exactly the kind of person I'd trust with my own family member.

Pets I happily care for: small to medium-sized dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and other small furries, and well-matched pairs of small dogs.

Not the best fit for: extra-large dogs solo, multiple large dogs at the same time, dogs with a bite history, or pets with very severe separation anxiety — happy to chat case by case.

My home: a single-family home in a quiet neighborhood, smoke-free, shoe-free indoors, air-purified, with secured yard fencing.

Services: drop-in visits (30–45 min), dog walks (60 min+), and boarding or day care at my home.
