Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. It all started with our beloved dachshund, Tola, who was with us for 14 wonderful years. She was an amazing little dog — well-trained, loyal, and always ready to protect us despite her tiny size.
When I moved out, my parents had two German Shepherds, but sadly, due to health issues, they couldn’t stay with us for very long.
Later, my fiancé and I took in a three-month-old puppy as a foster — but it didn’t take long before we decided to adopt her ourselves. After her vaccinations, microchipping, and some training, we had a happy, energetic four-legged bundle of joy at home and at the dog park.
These days, Plume — that’s her name — lives in the countryside, where she can run freely, enjoy fresh meat, and happily chase other dogs around.
From time to time, I also look after the dogs of friends and family when they can’t balance their responsibilities with caring for their pets. My friend’s dog (Lola) absolutely loves the mountains and long walks. My brother’s dog (Pinia) is a well-trained pedigree dog who prefers peace and quiet.
I also have experience with cats — and Klara even lets me rub her belly, which, as any cat lover knows, is a huge compliment 
To help build a bond with your pet, I’m happy to use treats if you’d like — of course, only with your permission. During our walks, your pet’s safety and the safety of the surroundings always come first. Sniffing and taking care of their needs are essential parts of every walk, and I always clean up properly.
I truly enjoy giving dogs the time they need to sniff, explore, and just be dogs, while keeping the walk structured, interactive, and fun. I can use a retractable leash if needed, and I’m always happy to discuss harnesses or any other equipment with you.
Now that I run my own business here in the Netherlands, I have quite a flexible schedule. My work is irregular but always planned well in advance, which gives me plenty of free time. Unfortunately, my landlord doesn’t allow dogs, so staying connected with them means a lot to me. Plus, daily walks are a great balance to spending hours behind a computer.
That’s why I decided to join Pawshake — to make good use of my free time and do something that truly makes me happy: spending time with dogs and caring for them like they’re my own &nbsp;


As a dog person, I love having lots of interaction with dogs whether during trips or in daily life because they always cheer me up and bring me so much positive energy. My name is Alba, I'm from the Canary Islands and I would love to use my spare time taking care of the best human's friends, those furry friends, while I try to start my own "dietetische praktijk". I used to be a pet sitter back in Gran Canaria, so I have experience (walkings, home staying) with several breeds such as canary warren hound, beagles, golden retriever, giant schnauzer, lavrador and boxer. I live in Eindhoven in an 80m2 appartment with a balcony of 10m2 with direct acces to a green area where a lot of dogs go to play. I live with my partner, who is also a dog lover and everytime he sees a dog playing in front of our house he melts.My house is really near the Hondenuitlaatplaats Genderpark. I do not have a car but I can move until 10km with my bella scooter.&nbsp;

Hello! I am a student in Eindhoven and love animals! I used to walk dogs back home and really miss spending time with animals! I love walking them and getting to know each pet individually! I want to be a pet sitter because it's such a lovely thing to do with you time and helps other people out. I have previous experience in walking dogs and used to have a dog when I was younger. I also had ducks and a pig more recently! I would look after the ducks and the pig at home, feed them and stear them towards the pond! I will look after your animal, clean up any mess, take them on walks, and play with them! A walk would be around about 30 minutes. I will happily come to your house, however I can not have your pet round mine. I can do both big and small dogs, I don't mind seeing more difficult dogs too. Hi! I’m Adam, a 20-year-old law student from Ireland. Growing up, my home was always filled with pets, including dogs, cats, and even chickens. Most of them were rescues, and we regularly fostered animals while they waited for their forever homes. I’ve always been passionate about animals, especially smaller dog breeds, but I’ve also fostered and later adopted a female Doberman named Lexi, so I have experience with larger breeds too.

Over the years, I’ve cared for many different dogs: a Jack Russell named Clarabelle, several Chihuahuas, three Yorkshire Terriers, and a little rescue mutt called Bran. Archie, one of my Chihuahuas, suffers from hydrocephalus, and Clarabelle had arthritis and later developed cancer, so I understand the extra love and care dogs with health issues need.

Becoming a pet sitter and walker feels like the perfect fit. It’s a way to combine my passion for dogs with helping other pet owners feel at ease when they’re away.

As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to feel confident that your furry friend is safe, happy, and well looked after. I treat every pet like they are part of my own family, making sure they receive the love, attention, and routine they are used to. Hello, I am portuguese Mechanical engineer&nbsp; graduated from Aveiro University whichmoved to Eindhoven in last 2021.
I am available on the evenings (somewhere between 17h30 and 19h30). 1-2 days I work from home, so they maybe can work to during the day. I also can go for shopping some food/medicine or bring  to the groomer, if it needed (needs to be close or fit on my bike )&nbsp;In my home town, my parents have a farm with chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, so I used to be in touch with animals and taking care of them.&nbsp; Unfortunately, now, my landlord do not allow to have dogs, cats or other pets in the apartment, so I feel my heart a little empty without the animals touch and care. I'm Hugo and I'm from Portugal. I moved to the Netherlands over 2 years ago and it's been an amazing experience so far.
However I do miss the portuguese weather and my pets. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats back home, so I'm used to always have 4 pawed company everywhere I go.
Having the opportunity to pet sit here is just the icing in the cake for me.
I have experience with quite a few animals, back in Portugal, just before moving to the Netherlands I was working as a Zookeeper for one of the biggest zoo's in Portugal.
Some of the animals I was caring for were parrots, eagles, owls, ravens, lemurs, snakes, lizards, turtles and a lot more. I was very lucky to be surrounded by all those species of animals, it was a very fulfilling work for me and I learned a lot during my time there.
