Top cities for house sitting in The Netherlands

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your 't Veld home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like 't Veld.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your 't Veld home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi! My name is Marina, I’m 41 years old, and I absolutely adorecats! If you need someone to look after your furry friendwho will understand them at a glance, you’ve come to the right person!
In Belarus, my husband and I were volunteers: wefostered many cats and found them loving forever homes. Since childhood, I’vebeen surrounded by cats, and now I have two beloved kitties who make my homewarm and joyful. I have experience caring for cats: feeding, playing, givingmedication, and sometimes even staying overnight so they wouldn’t feel lonely.
And if you need, I can also water or mist yourplants while you’re away. Your plants will be just as well cared for as yourcat!
Drop me a message, andwe’ll work something out! Your cat (and plants!) will be in safe and lovinghands.

Hoi!

As a lifelong animal lover, I have a genuine passion for caring for both cats and dogs. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities — from shy rescue cats who need patience and understanding, to energetic puppies full of curiosity and playfulness. I’m loving, attentive, and calm, and I always focus on creating a stress-free, happy environment where your furry friend feels safe and comfortable. I enjoy long walks, engaging playtime, and cozy cuddle sessions, adapting my care to match your pet’s unique needs and temperament. I carefully follow your instructions to ensure routines are maintained and your pet feels secure, even when you’re away. I’m available on weekends, holidays, and for longer stays, and I especially love spending time with friendly dogs and sweet or independent cats. With me, your pet will always be in gentle, reliable, and caring hands.

Please note: minimal stay of 15days.

My name is Krijn, a passionate dog lover with many years of experience in caring for, training and raising dogs. I also have extensive experience with cats, which makes me well equipped to care for both types of pets.
Me and my girlfriend's love for animals has led us to follow a unique path: we have chosen not to own a home and to exclusively sit for homes with pets. This way we can give our full attention and dedication to the care of your beloved four-legged friends, without the distractions of a home of our own.
I am a calm, tidy man and together with my girlfriend who loves animals with all her heart.
We are your pet friends and house sitters.
Our lifestyle allows us to be flexible and to understand and meet the specific needs of each animal. Whether it is daily walks, playtime, or just providing company, we make sure that your pets feel safe and loved during your absence. Our years of experience with both dogs and cats allows us to recognize and solve problems early, and to provide the best possible care. In addition, we are very responsible and reliable, and we understand how important it is to leave your home and pets in good hands.
We look forward to giving your pets the attention and care they deserve, so that you can leave with peace of mind.
