One of the sacrifices I made while moving to Rotterdam was leaving my adorable labrador retriever Pupa and a rescued charming fluffy cat Murka at home with my family. Dogs have been a passion of mine since I was little - I have quite a few encyclopedias about dog breeds and dog behaviour books.
My previous experience mostly comes from taking care of Pupa - she is currently 10 years old, and my family raised her from the age of 3 months. I walked and fed her, and also taught the basic training commands. Additionally, I have spent a couple of weekends in my life pet-sitting for an acquaintance, so I can confidently say - I am prepared to take good care of your dear pet.

Hi, I’m Kaia. I’ve been a dog owner for the last 20 years (crazy, right? ). I have lots of experience with different breeds thanks to pet sitting for my friends’ and neighbours’ dogs, as well as fostering dogs looking for a forever home.
Currently, I’m living with a Golden Retriever that belongs to my landlord. Back home, I have two dogs - a terrier mix and a Shih Tzu. I've had cats of my own and have experience cat sitting for others, so I'm comfortable with all kinds of feline personalities. One thing I've learned is that every cat is different, and I always let them set the pace. I don't force interactions or invade their space. I let them get to know me and come to me when they're comfortable.
Since I currently can't have pets in my apartment, cat sitting is a way for me to spend time with animals I genuinely enjoy being around. Cats bring me a lot of joy, and I love getting to know their unique quirks and personalities.
During my visits, I'll make sure your cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and attention, playtime, or company depending on what they enjoy. I typically spend 30 minutes per visit, but I'm happy to discuss longer visits if needed.
I also like to keep owners updated with photos and a short message after each visit so you know how your cat is doing while you're away.
If I ever notice anything concerning, such as changes in behavior, appetite, or signs of illness, I'll contact you right away and follow any emergency instructions you've provided. I take your cat's safety and well-being seriously and will always communicate clearly if any issues arise.
My schedule is fairly flexible, and I'll do my best to accommodate your cat's routine and needs.


Hi! I am Emily, 24 years old, originally from Chemnitz, Germany and currently studying for my Master’s in Media and Creative Industries here in Rotterdam.  I’ve grown up with animals and specifically dogs my entire life. First with a Border Collie–Golden Retriever mix, and later with a Rottweiler. Because of this, I have experience with both energetic, playful dogs and larger, more powerful breeds. We also had cats and canary birds and somehow managed for everyone to get along.
Since moving away from home, I really miss having dogs around, so pet sitting and dog walking is the perfect way to bring some animal joy back into my daily life while also staying active. Animals have always been a central part of my life. Growing up surrounded by cats, dogs, birds, and even chickens and roosters, I learned from a young age how to understand their needs, behaviors, and emotions. Over the years, I have personally taken care of more than ten cats, including supporting my cat Mia through giving birth and raising her kittens. I have also cared for dogs such as Panic and Ati in my home for extended periods, ensuring they felt safe, calm, and loved while their owners were away.

I am travelling with my family from Ireland. We have been sailing from Norway to The Netherlands and will we will be based here for the next two months. While my partner is working I would love to be making friends with a dog or two while we explore the city. I am travelling with my family in Amsterdam and will be here for the next few weeks so it would be great to help you and get a new friend to join me exploring the city. Your pet would also get the chance to interect with my young daughter and learn how to be safe around children. While it would be great to have your animal stay with us we are living in our boat here so it wouldn't be suitable but they can come to hang out for a day outside in the park nearby and hang out here if needed for a few hours or so. I am fully available to meet your pets needs and would love bringing them out around for different walks in your area. I love training while out and about and can help with any basics like sit, stay and lie down but also love high fives and catch and other recall tricks. 
If required I can ensure any food specifications are met and help with giving any oral medications. I am used to giving some to a larger dog I minded in a family home for a week that required specific meds and diet. 
I love long walks and happy to walk a route they are comfortable with and move to other new areas for variety abe improve their training. Whatever suits best for different dog types and ages, you will know your dog best  Comfortable walking with 3 dogs but open to more if they are used to each other. Other Experience -&nbsp;
I have dog sit for another cocker spaniel Bailey who stayed with me overnight on a number occasions and he would join my dog Frank on walks. I have regularly minded my sisters dog while she was away for a week or two over the last 3 years and my favourite time was minding all three for one weekend. This went really well and they all had a great time playing all day and walking in the park and at the beach. Bailey is quite high energy so needed lots of attention alone but worked best when the other dogs could match the level of play wanted.&nbsp;
I'm available full time for now until the end of January and can be available for a few times a day if needed, or for 24/7 stays in your place if that's what you need.

Ik werk op de terminal in Rotterdam wanneer cruises arriveren, maar dit is seizoensgebonden (lente en zomer) en meestal in het weekend.Ook onze buurvrouw vraag mij ook regelmatig om een dagje op haar hond te passen. Hello! I’m an international student at TU Delft from South Africa, and I have two cocker spaniels and a bird back home that I miss dearly. I’d love to take care of your pets, whether it’s taking them for walks, giving them cuddles, or offering any special care they need.
I have done pet sitting briefly once privately where I did walks and one at-home stay. I’ve always had pets and helped raise our cocker spaniel with my mom. That involved plenty of training, keeping a close eye on him, and giving him lots of love and attention! I've also done au pairing for six months, which speaks to my ability to care for others' loved ones.
I am doing an internship in Rotterdam and am based there for the year. Since I study/work full-time, I’m available on weekends to house sit with your pets or take them for walks during the weeks in the evenings from 6pm.
