Top cities for house sitting in The Netherlands

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Raamsdonksveer home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Raamsdonksveer.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Raamsdonksveer home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

hello, my name is Maria I am a happy friendly person who wants the best for others and I am coming from Romania, all my life I used to own animals, Now i am living in Oosterhout. i am in a transit life due the early moving to the Nederlands. I am able to help and take care of multiple animals at the same time. When i am with the animals time doesn't matter, i can spend as much time as an animal need ( feed, groom, afection, play time, treatment if is under treatment, that means administrating pills, injection's under skin, intramuscularly and intravenously as well). At the moment I can only help somebody with his animals only at their place. In Romania I had study veterinary medicine for a period of 3 years, but unfortunately I didn't finish my studies, even so I usded to do voluntering for animal shelters and work for 5 years in a veterinary clinic, I can do veterinary procedures in case of an under treatment animal. I would like very much to help animals and make them feel good and happy, I hope I will meet many new fluffy friends!

We are expats living in the Netherlands for 8 years. We are parents to two furry babies. We live in a big house that has a big garden with fences. We have a forest right next to our house with an off leash area and a dog park very close by. Our dog is friends to every dog and our cat can be shy at first but cool later.
We do look after our friends' dogs in our house when they are away. We also house sit sometimes when there is a cat involved or if they live far away, even in a different country sometimes . We know the struggles you have when you need to be away from home or travel. We just want to be there to comfort your pets and keep their routines the same as possible, therefore keep your minds at ease when you are away.
We take our dog for a walk 3-4 times a day, each 20-30 minutes. We take him to the dog park 2-3 times a week. We can host one guest dog along side our dog as long as they get along. They can sleep together or separate according how they prefer. Me and my husband both work from home so they are almost never alone. We take care of their hygiene, grooming needs and oral medication if there is. Play with them and exercise training on daily basis. We have a backyard, fenced and with closed doors so they can hang out there as they like. We can offer dog boarding, day care as long as guest dog gets along with our dog and house sitting for both cats and dogs.

Groetjes,Ria

I am Jana, a young professional and animals make me super happy! I grew up with rabbits as a kid and had one myself during COVID (sadly died due to hart issues RIP).
I watch a few dogs on a regular basis in my home/pass by owners homes and occasionally some Pawshake doggos next to catsitting mostly with overnight stays in other cities.
Would love to have my own dog some day, however due to my intense travel schedule I don't have my own and can also not commit to a regular schedule of dog sitting, so Pawshake and catsitting is a great tool!
All doggos are welcome, for the cats I am a bit more picky as I will have to go into someone's home.
I have a small apartment on the upstairs floor (no lift, no outside area), so that means lots of walks outside or chilling inside. My preferred days are Wednesdays and Fridays and occasionally on the weekends.
Send me a message and who knows maybe you love to give me the trust to hang out with your furry friend 🫶🏻
