Growing up outside Amsterdam, we always had pets in our home. I grew up with Great Dane 'Mini' and our 6 cats, and lots of small animals like turtles, hamsters and even pet rats. In Amsterdam I live in a small studio appartment, with allergic flat mates, so pets are not an option right now. I did make friends with our neigborhood Bengal cat 'Peer', who even greets me when I cycle into our street. I often take care of pets of friends and family, and I would love to take care of your cat(s) or dog(s)!
Normally, I work as a lecturer for an Applied University and I have my own design studio, but I cannot work at the moment as I have some Long Covid issues, basically meaning I am tired a lot. This makes me an excellent candidate for spending a lot of chill time with cats;) I am available for short visits, longer caretaking and playtime and housesitting. We can discuss which times are best for you and your cat(s), generally I am quite flexible. Depending on our aggreement I can visit for longer or shorter. I speak Dutch and English.
I am located in the city center at Prinseneiland and would also offer services in Amsterdam West, Amsterdam Oost and de Pijp. Services I offer are; house visits and house sitting for your cat(s). I love playing around with them, and giving them lots of pets and attention, whatever you prefer for your cat. I am also fine with giving them basic medical treatments. I am also great with plants, so if you need me to include all living organisms, I am fine with that!&nbsp;

20 euro: Basic visit will be half an hour for feeding, cleaning. Including gathering mail and watering plants. Depending on the amount of care and size of your house: the extra time is spend for playing and cuddling. Two cats included, extra cat: 5 euro. I will send you status updates and pictures of your cat if required.&nbsp;&nbsp;
25 euro: Basic visit, two times a day.I will send you status updates and pictures of your cat if required.&nbsp;
30 euro: Night shift, staying over during the night. Including feeding, cleaning. Including gathering mail and watering plants. I will send you status updates and pictures of your cat if required.&nbsp;
35 euro: Extended visit will be an hour for feeding, cleaning and playtime. If needed medicine can be given too. Including gathering mail and watering plants.I will send you status updates and pictures of your cat if required.&nbsp;
40 euro: Housesitting, staying over at your house. Included are feeding, cleaning and playtime, and lots of attention. If needed medicine can be given too. Including gathering mail and watering plants. I will send you status updates and pictures of your cat if required.

Note: The first visit will always include a meet and greet with owner and pet(s). After which I can decide not to take on the request.


My name is Ting, I am 26 year old living in Amsterdam. I have always had cats when I was young and I currently have 2 European Short Hair cats myself, adopted from De Poezenboot in Amsterdam. 
As I went on vacation I noticed I needed a loving and trustworthy catsitter for my own cats. Cat hotels are an option too but I rather have my cats be in their own environment to prevent a stressful time. 
Which made me realize that other people might need loving catsitters too. Which I would love to do. I am a loving and caring catsitter who could come by to have some playtime, feed the cat(s), have a cuddle and change the toilet. Heb jij één of meerdere honden (of katten) die (regelmatig) verzorging nodig hebben? Ik help je graag uit de brand! Zondag t/m maandag ben ik de hele dag beschikbaar! De rest van de week ben ik vanaf ±17:00 uur beschikbaar. Ik ga graag een lekker grote ronde lopen, langs de dijk of in het bos, of een lekker stuk fietsen met de hond er naast, mits de hond dit gewend is uiteraard.Katten, konijnen, cavia's, muizen, etc. (en honden uiteraard ook) kan ik voorzien van eten en vermaken met speelgoed (of propjes ;p) en, indien ze dat kunnen waarderen, helemaal plat knuffelen!Sinds mijn 7de ben ik altijd omringd geweest door dieren. Het begon met 1 kat, dat werden er een paar jaar later 2, toen een konijn erbij en later ook een hond (Duitse herder)! Een goede vriendin had vroeger een grote Leonberger waar we veel op pasten. Inmiddels woon ik al lang op mezelf en heb ik muisjes gehad (grotere dieren kon toen niet) en een groot konijn. Op dit moment heb ik 2 katten en pas ik wel eens op honden van familie en vrienden. Maar ik mis het om regelmatig zorg te dragen voor een hond.Zelf zijn wij niet vaak genoeg thuis om een hond toe te voegen aan ons "gezin", maar de dagen dat ik wel beschikbaar ben zou ik graag zorgen voor de honden van anderen!

I'm Nina, I'm 20 years old. I'm now studying but looking for an extra job for the summer (my regular job is baby-sitting). I'm Dutch and Swiss so I'm fluent in French English and Dutch.

I've always loved animals. We adopted an abandoned cat in Corsica when I was about 6 years old. He sadly passed away 2 years ago but I still think about him everyday because he was my best buddy. We had a really strong emotional bond. I also did horse riding for about 10 year, I've started at 4 years old and it helped me enormously because I was struggling with friendships at that time and the bond I had with a poney was such a support.&nbsp;

Now my parents adopted another cat who I love a lot and I moved to the Netherlands and my roommate also has a 2 year old cat that enjoys my company (and I enjoy his) from time to time. I'm going to take care of him for a couple of days.&nbsp;

My first "job" was 2 years ago and it was to take care of the dog of someone in my town. Neo was quite a small dog but he was amazing. I would come to her home and let him out every afternoon when she was at work. I would always stay a bit afterwards to play and pet Neo because those were long days for him.&nbsp;

I have extensive experience working with dogs who have separation anxiety, and I understand the extra attention and reassurance they require. Additionally, I am comfortable caring for female dogs in heat, as well as non-neutered male dogs, and can adapt to their unique needs without issue.

While I have a particular fondness for poodles and griffons (due to my own dogs), I love and welcome all dog breeds, each with their own unique personality. My goal is to ensure that your dog feels secure, understood, and well cared for, no matter their breed or specific needs. Though my beloved dog Juicy is currently in Greece with my family, she remains a huge part of my life and heart. I wanted to share her with the Rover community because she is, without a doubt, my dog and the inspiration behind why I started this job.
