My name is Joana. Ever since I can remember, I have been a passionate animal enthusiast. I grew up with pets, from birds, to fish, to dogs, cats. Ever since I moved to the Netherlands over 2 years ago (I am originally from Portugal), my housing situation does not allow for pets and I deeply miss being around animals. I figured pet-sitting could be an amazing way to fill this gap and also help others in the process!&nbsp;
In my family, we mostly adopted animals from shelters, which provided me with a lot of first-hand experience on how to tune in and bond with a pet. I have delt with animals who were young, senior, with strict medication routines, shy, reactive, active, quiet,… This taught me many things, but mainly to be patient and listen attentively, slowly learning each pet’s body language, listening and adjusting to their habits and rhythms. This process of getting to know a pet truly brings me so much joy, which is why I believe I make a very good pet-sitter.

We are a couple living in Kekerdom with our two lovely dogs, Cheese and Brownie.
Cheese is a 2-year-old neutered Border Collie, very friendly, smart and energetic.Brownie is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd, sweet, playful and curious about new friends.
Both dogs are very social and enjoy meeting other dogs, so your dog will always have companions to play and relax with during their stay.
If you are busy or traveling and would like a safe and friendly place for your dog, our home can offer playtime, rest, and lots of attention.

We both grduated at TU Delft and currently work in Elst.
Because of our work schedule:

Weekdays: we mainly offer overnight stays for dogs
Weekends: we are usually available for full-day dog sitting

Since Cheese and Brownie are both energetic dogs, dogs who enjoy playing with other dogs or have similar energy levels may be a better match.
We will also send photos and updates so you can always see how your dog is doing.

Ik ben Raimond en woon in Velp. In deze omgeving ben ik graag buiten. Fietsend of wandelend door deze mooie omgeving. Tevens een ontzettende liefhebber van dieren en dan vooral katten en honden. De combinatie wandelen en hond uitlaten lijkt me dus perfect...
Thuis woon ik met Whiskey samen. Een rooie kater. Regelmatig komen er andere katten uit de buurt even langs voor een knuffel..wat brokjes en dan gaan ze weer.
In de afgelopen jaren heb ik voor famillie en bekenden voor huisdieren gezorgd en aangezien ik nu in de omstandigheid zit waarin ik meer tijd heb, wil ik dit zinvol besteden met activiteiten die goede energie geven. Naast een Maatje zijn voor een gehandicapte man in de buurt, wat overigens ook goede energie geeft, merk ik dat ik blij wordt van het contact met dieren....en voilla....zie hier.

Ik begrijp hoe spannend het is om je gezinslid thuis te laten wanneer je op vakantie gaat. Met liefde kom ik langs om het beestje te voorzien van eten, een schone kattenbak en als hij/zij het toelaat, heel veel liefde.&nbsp;Ik ben 29 jaar, woonachtig in Arnhem, werkzaam in de communicatie en voorlichting bij de Radboud Universiteit in Nijmegen en erg sociaal en empathisch. Zelf vind ik het best spannend om mijn kat achter te laten als ik een weekend weg ga of een reis ga maken. Daarom vind ik het belangrijk dat je je prettig bij me voelt en dat je huisdier goed op mij reageert. Ik ben communicatief sterk en stuur je regelmatig een foto of filmpje van je huisdier.Ik kom graag bij je thuis om de kat of poes te verzorgen wanneer je van huis bent.&nbsp;Planten wateren en post verzamelen is geen probleem. In overleg kan de kat ook bij mij in het huis komen. Het gaat om een appartement van 73 m2 met balkon, twee mensen (ikzelf en mijn beste vriend van 27 jaar) en een poes van drie jaar. Je viervoeter mag overal in huis komen, behalve op het aanrecht.Ook laat ik graag je hond uit in een bos/park/hondentuin bij jou in de buurt. De wandeling zal ongeveer een half uur duren. Ik heb geen ervaring met het toedienen van medicijnen of het geven van trainingen of vachtverzorging. Een hond in huis kan voor een paar uur, maar in verband met de poes is dit niet handig voor meerdere dagen.Ik werk 32 uur per week bij de Radboud Universiteit. Woensdag is mijn vrije dag, vrijdag werk ik thuis en de overige dagen ben ik op kantoor.
