Hi! I’m Merve, a 21 year old Psychology student currently living in Elst I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember . I grew up with three dogs in my childhood, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life.
These days, I regularly take care of my brother’s Toy Poodle whenever he travels. I feed him, go on long walks, play with him, and make sure he feels calm, loved, and at home.
I also have experience babysitting children, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and great attention to emotional needs all of which I bring into my work with animals as well.
I offer dog walking, home visits, and overnight stays for both cats and dogs in Elst. I’m happy to send regular updates and pictures while you’re away, so you can feel completely at ease.
My goal is to make every pet feel safe, relaxed, and happy whether it’s just for an hour or for a whole weekend. I’d love to become a trusted friend for your furry companion!  

Hi, I'm Rodrigo. I am an Engineering student from Mexico living here with a huge passion for animals. Back home, I grew up surrounded by pets, so being on Pawshake is a wonderful way for me to stay connected with animals while I am studying abroad.
I offer more than just basic pet sitting because I have a solid background in shelter volunteering. This experience taught me how to read animal body language, handle basic training, and provide emotional support to shy or rescue animals.
I am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes, from energetic puppies to seniors who need a slower pace. I have specific experience handling reactive dogs. If your dog needs a confident handler who stays calm and follows instructions, I am a great fit. I am also happy to look after cats and birds.
My university schedule is quite flexible, so I can easily make time for walks and sitting when you need me. I am fluent in English and Spanish (no Dutch yet!). I promise to treat your home and your pet with the utmost respect, and I’m always happy to send photo updates so you can relax knowing they are happy.

Welkom bij ons en onze speelse hond Beertje! Ook voor intensieve wandelingen of oppassen in overleg. We hebben een voorkeur voor kleine of middelgrote honden. Zelf heb ik al de nodige ervaring met honden, ook vanuit huis vroeger. Onder meer met jackrussels, pomapoo, labradors en andere viervoeters. Niets is ons eigenlijk te gek. Alleen overnachten is bij ons beperkt mogelijk.
Honden verdienen veel aandacht, liefde en geduld en dat krijgen ze bij ons ook, in een veilige omgeving met niet al te veel prikkels. Een hond moet zich op z'n gemak voelen, een eigen plekje kunnen hebben en duidelijke grenzen mee krijgen om zich goed in z'n vel te voelen. 
Mijn vrouw en ik zijn echte dierenliefhebbers en gaan graag met de beestjes naar het bos of de heide op. We lopen met onze eigen hond vaak los, maar indien een riem gewenst is geen enkel probleem. Stuur gerust een bericht. Alles in overleg. 
Let op: wij wonen op twee hoog zonder lift, enkel de trap.

I'm Alexandra, 28 years old, I live in Wageningen and currently I work from home. I have 2 cats Nevi (2 years old) and Mango (1,5 years old).&nbsp;
Nevi is a bit quieter and keeps a close eye on everything, while Mango loves to play and is curious about everything. Thanks to them, I understand how different animals can be and how important it is to pay attention to their behavior.&nbsp;
I've beenaround animals from a young age. In my childhood home there were always cats, dogs and sometimes small animals like hamsters. So, I have experience with various types of pets, including older animals that need more peace, attention or care.&nbsp;
In the past I've regularly looked after animals through other websites or groups. I believe it's important for an animal to feel safe and comfortable, especially when its owner isn't around. I offer reliable care tailored to the animal's needs, whether that's playing, feeding, or simply providing quiet company.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Due to my job my availability during week is flexible. On friday and during the weekend I'm fully available. I’m comfortable providing basic grooming for pets and can give them oral medication when needed. If I’m house sitting, I can also water the plants. Currently I live in small apartment with 2 cats so I will not be able to provide boarding services for your pets.


I grew up on a farm surrounded by pets. We always had dogs and cats in our house and occasionally took care of others furry friends leading to sometimes having 5 dogs at home at the same time🥹
I am from Luxembourg and started my studies in Wageningen in September 2024 and now in New Zealand, Christchurch. Since I moved out from home, I really miss being surrounded by pets - especially dogs. As I can’t have pets on my own right now due to studies and because of it's time constraints I started pet sitting in my bachelor’s in Germany.
For me this is the perfect side job, having pets around until I am able to provide for having own dogs again. I can help you out with walks, stay overs during the day or multiple days. Of course we can arrange a meeting beforehand for you and your best friend to get to know me before you decide.

My name is Sofia and I'm 30 years old. My love for animals started when I was little and it has only gotten stronger throughout the years. I grew up with pets (mostly cats) and I have always enjoyed being around animals. I love taking care of them, spending time together and giving them all the cuddles they can handle! I am naturally warm and patient and I can gain their trust fairly easily.&nbsp;
I have volunteered in pet shelters in Italy (my home country) during my university years, during which I learned what big of an impact love and patience can make for animals.

Ik begrijp hoe spannend het is om je gezinslid thuis te laten wanneer je op vakantie gaat. Met liefde kom ik langs om het beestje te voorzien van eten, een schone kattenbak en als hij/zij het toelaat, heel veel liefde.&nbsp;Ik ben 29 jaar, woonachtig in Arnhem, werkzaam in de communicatie en voorlichting bij de Radboud Universiteit in Nijmegen en erg sociaal en empathisch. Zelf vind ik het best spannend om mijn kat achter te laten als ik een weekend weg ga of een reis ga maken. Daarom vind ik het belangrijk dat je je prettig bij me voelt en dat je huisdier goed op mij reageert. Ik ben communicatief sterk en stuur je regelmatig een foto of filmpje van je huisdier.Ik kom graag bij je thuis om de kat of poes te verzorgen wanneer je van huis bent.&nbsp;Planten wateren en post verzamelen is geen probleem. In overleg kan de kat ook bij mij in het huis komen. Het gaat om een appartement van 73 m2 met balkon, twee mensen (ikzelf en mijn beste vriend van 27 jaar) en een poes van drie jaar. Je viervoeter mag overal in huis komen, behalve op het aanrecht.Ook laat ik graag je hond uit in een bos/park/hondentuin bij jou in de buurt. De wandeling zal ongeveer een half uur duren. Ik heb geen ervaring met het toedienen van medicijnen of het geven van trainingen of vachtverzorging. Een hond in huis kan voor een paar uur, maar in verband met de poes is dit niet handig voor meerdere dagen.Ik werk 32 uur per week bij de Radboud Universiteit. Woensdag is mijn vrije dag, vrijdag werk ik thuis en de overige dagen ben ik op kantoor. In het weekend doe ik leuke dingen, maar ik ben altijd wel een dagdeel (ochtend, middag of avond) thuis.Denk je dat we een match zijn? Neem gerust contact op! Ik neem graag kennis met je.

k ben social media beheerder en werk parttime als postbode in Dooewerth.  Ik heb twee katten en ben opgegroeid met honden en vogels, dus dieren maken al mijn hele leven deel uit van mijn dagelijks leven. In mijn vrije tijd pas ik graag op huisdieren — ik geef ze eten, ga met ze wandelen of speel met ze. Daarnaast houd ik van buiten wandelen in de natuur, fotografie en badminton. Of het nu een rustige wandeling is met een hond of gewoon even knuffelen met een kat, ik geniet echt van het gezelschap van dieren. Hoi! Ik ben meestal beschikbaar voor 11 uur 's ochtends, na 17.00 uur en 's avonds — perfect voor knuffels in de ochtend of een avondwandeling!&nbsp;
Ik bied huisdierenoppas, huisbezoeken en hondenuitlaatservice aan. Ik speel graag met je hond of kat, geef ze eten en zorg dat ze zich veilig en blij voelen als jij weg bent. Ik kan ook planten water geven en de post binnenhalen als dat nodig is.
Ik bied geen vachtverzorging of training aan, maar ik help graag met de basisverzorging en kan indien nodig orale medicatie toedienen.
Bij huisbezoeken blijf ik meestal ongeveer 30 minuten: genoeg tijd voor eten, spelen, knuffelen en een snelle controle in huis. Ik sluit alles goed af en controleer het water voordat ik vertrek.
Mijn hondenwandelingen duren 30 minuten tot 1 uur, afhankelijk van de energie van je hond. We wandelen meestal in de buurt of op een plek waar je hond graag komt — laat me vooral weten wat zijn of haar favoriete plek is!

I’m a social media manager and a part-time mail carrier.I have two cats now and grew up with dogs and birds, so animals have always been a part of my life. In my spare time, I enjoy caring for pets — feeding, walking, or simply playing together. I also love outdoor hiking, photography, and playing badminton. Whether it’s a relaxing walk with a dog or quiet cuddles with a cat, I truly enjoy the company of animals. Hi! I’m usually available before 11 AM, after 5 PM, and in the evenings — perfect for early morning cuddles or evening walks!
I offer pet sitting, home visits for cat, and dog walking services. I'm happy to play with your dog or cat, feed them, and make sure they feel safe and happy while you're away. I can also water your plants and bring in the mail if needed.&nbsp;
For home visits, I typically stay around 30 minutes, enough time for feeding, play, cuddles, and a quick check around the house. I’ll lock up carefully and check the water supply to make sure everything’s secure before I leave. More time could be discussed.
My dog walks last 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your dog’s energy level and needs. I usually walk around your neighborhood or anywhere your dog loves to go — just let me know their favorite spot!
