Top cities for house sitting in The Netherlands

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Castricum home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Castricum.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Castricum home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I love animals and I always will dus u kunt u huisdier met een gerust hart bij mij brengen.

I’ve always felt a genuine love for animals, and becoming a pet sitter feels like the perfect way to turn that passion into something meaningful. What I enjoy most is creating a calm, comfortable experience for pets while their owners are away. Since I offer home visits, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as familiar as possible—feeding at the right times, giving them the attention they’re used to, and making sure they feel safe in their own environment.
Over the years, I’ve cared for the pets of friends, family, and neighbors, including dogs, cats, and smaller animals. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or prefers quiet companionship, I take the time to understand their personality and adapt to their needs. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive, and I truly enjoy building trust with each animal I care for.
Because I visit pets in their own homes, I don’t require them to be vaccinated. My main priority is their wellbeing and comfort. I’m committed to giving your pet reliable, loving care so you can leave home with peace of mind, knowing they’re in good hands.

Hello! I live around the Haarlem noord area and bring with me a wealth of experience and a genuine love for our four-legged friends. With a proven track record in pet sitting, including the dedicated care of two adult big dogs over extended periods, I am committed to providing the highest level of service to your beloved pets.
Having grown up surrounded by dogs and actively involved in their care, I possess an innate understanding of their needs and behaviors. From walking and feeding to training and playtime, I am well-versed in all aspects of pet care and will be able to stay overnight, go for visits and walk/feed your furry friends. My passion for spending time with dogs and cats extends beyond mere duty; it's a genuine joy to engage with them, whether it's on leisurely walks or through enriching play activities.
I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and your furry companions, and to providing them with the love, attention, and care they deserve while you're away.

Welkom!Hallo! Groetjes,Amber
