Top cities for house sitting in The Netherlands

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Beuningen home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Beuningen.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Beuningen home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Alexandre

My name is Rei, a 31-year-old Korean living in Delft. I work as a tattoo artist and love the Netherlands for its animal-friendly environment and abundance of nature! My interest in nature and animals is so great that my tattoo style also revolves around animals and nature
I have been raising animals since I was a child in my hometown in Korea. Two years ago, I lost my 16-year-old dog Inu, and this year, I lost my 17-year-old cat Ari. Both were my lifelong companions, and I wanted to share the love I couldn't give them. Thinking about the other animals that have passed through my life and the cats still at my parents' house, I want to take care of your pets!
In Korea, I worked part-time caring for animals, primarily cats. I know how to bond with cats. Even if they are not initially friendly towards people, I know how to approach them quietly and slowly, minimising stress and spending time with them comfortably! Of course, I can also care for dogs! I will share photos and videos of us playing together to build trust! I promise that both the animals and you will have a happy time with me!
Looking forward to meeting your beloved companion! I'm sure we both will love this experience

I’m a social media manager and a part-time mail carrier.I have two cats now and grew up with dogs and birds, so animals have always been a part of my life. In my spare time, I enjoy caring for pets — feeding, walking, or simply playing together. I also love outdoor hiking, photography, and playing badminton. Whether it’s a relaxing walk with a dog or quiet cuddles with a cat, I truly enjoy the company of animals. Hi! I’m usually available before 11 AM, after 5 PM, and in the evenings — perfect for early morning cuddles or evening walks!
I offer pet sitting, home visits for cat, and dog walking services. I'm happy to play with your dog or cat, feed them, and make sure they feel safe and happy while you're away. I can also water your plants and bring in the mail if needed.
For home visits, I typically stay around 30 minutes, enough time for feeding, play, cuddles, and a quick check around the house. I’ll lock up carefully and check the water supply to make sure everything’s secure before I leave. More time could be discussed.
My dog walks last 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your dog’s energy level and needs. I usually walk around your neighborhood or anywhere your dog loves to go — just let me know their favorite spot!

Hi! I’m Mert, and for the past five years, I’ve shared my home with a lovely cat who’s taught me a lot about animal companionship, patience, and joy. Spending time with animals has always been something that brings me peace and happiness. Whether it’s walking a curious dog or chilling on the couch with a shy cat, I genuinely enjoy getting to know their personalities and offering them care, play, and comfort.
Pet sitting and walking is a way to connect with animals and give them a safe, loving environment when their humans are away. To be honest, walking dogs is a great way to achieve my daily step goal as well. As a person who got help from others to care for my cat from time to time, I understand how important trust and communication are when it comes to caring for someone’s beloved pet. While I don’t have formal training, I treat animals with kindness, attentiveness, and respect.
For everyone’s safety and comfort, I prefer to care for pets that are vaccinated. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend!
