At the beginning of 2022 I moved to The Netherlands with a working holiday visa. My first experience in pet sitting started when I moved to Amsterdam and I took care of the house pet when its owner was on holiday for three months. I loved her company and so I decided to download this app.
Being with dogs and cats increases my happiness level exponentially and it's a good way to not miss my dog Leia so much (she's a poodle, so I'm used to the barking )
I love animals, and that's the main reason I've been a vegetarian for over 7 years.

Hey! I'm Jack, and as well as being an experienced dog-sitter and walker I'm a podcast producer for the BBC who spends enough time staring at a screen, so I would love to get out and take your dogs on some adventures, or come and keep them company during the day or pop in the evening if they need some dinner! And of course they are more than welcome to stay over when you need to go away! (And if they're up for it they can lend a paw editing some shows).
Of course it goes without saying that I absolutely love dogs, I grew up with rescues, and I know how special and unique every single pooch is. As well as being a previous labrador owner I'm experienced in sitting and walking dogs of all sizes! Big, small, and the big ones who still think they're small (see Dego the Vizsla in the pictures who I have been looking after since he was a puppy). I love them all, and I'd be so happy to be pals with yours too!&nbsp;
My work is very adhoc so I am extremely flexible - I'm around mornings, daytime, and evenings, and I'm happy to travel all over Amsterdam! I like to get out for a good walk and really give them a proper run around where I can so whether it's a walk around your neighbourhood, to the park, or taking them further afield for a real adventure, I guarantee to get 10 tail wags out of 10 from your furry friend.&nbsp;
And if you would like me to come over and keep the dog company for an hour or so I'm of course more than happy to feed them, water the plants and bring in the mail!


Hello! I am an animal-loving student from Finland. I recently finished my studies at UvA and currently work part-time as a client advisor. I live in De Pijp in central Amsterdam. I can speak English and Finnish! I have a 10-year-old-cat called Tito who lives in Finland with my family. Our family also more recently included a 13-year-old dog named Pulla who sadly passed away a couple years ago. There have always been many pets in our family and I love the company of all animals. We have had 4 cats and 3 dogs. There have been animals of different natures, personalities, breeds and sizes in our family and in my life, so I can work well with animals of all sizes.
 I live in a rented apartment, so it would be easiest to look after a pet in the owner's home, which could also be more comfortable for the pet. I can assist with walks, feeding and company, overnight as well as daily. I listen to and appreciate the owner’s requests, as every pet is different and they need to be taken care of in a way that suits their nature. I am used to the routine of pet care from personal experience.

My uncle is one of the most renowned veterinary surgeons in the US and has taught me many things. I'm the kind of person you want at home with your pup when you're gone.We will chat beforehand a few times, and ultimately I would like to spend time with your doggo before you leave. I trust it will be a smooth transition. Currently I am available from July 17 to come and spend time with your dog. Inmiddels werk ik veel met honden en pas ik op poezen tijdens de vakantie van de baasjes. Ook geef ik sessies over hondentaal en lees ik veel boeken over het gedrag van dieren.
Ik werk fulltime als hondenwandelaar en honden gedragstherapeut/ trainer. Ik zorg met passie, kennis, aandacht en liefde voor honden en poezen.
Ik hou rekening met eventuele behoeftes of speciale wensen. Elke hond en poes is anders en heeft andere behoeftes. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een dier in zijn element is en niet wordt overbelast, maar goed in balans kan zijn.

During the day I am flexible, morning, afternoon and evening.
if you need help for your dog during the night, I can sleep at your house then in the morning I can take a walk with your dog and then I go away, but your dog cannot stay with me all day or at my house.
If your puppy needs me, I will be happy and he will be happy too. And you will have lots of photos and videos to check how much fun we are going to be!
I can walk with your dog for 30/40 minutes. If near your home there is a park I love to walk in the park with your dog. Or Around  and near the water because is very relax!.
If I visit your pet at your house, the visit will be 30/40 minutes.&nbsp;
In general, if you need more time and you have wi-fi,we can find an agreement for more time of course.
If you need more help for your plants I can add water them and I can check your mail!
At this moment I am not available during the week end.
