Top cities for house sitting in The Netherlands

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Achtmaal home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Achtmaal.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Achtmaal home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi!

Hi everyone! I'm Lucky, i am 26 years old and came from Pakistan and i live in Sint Willebrord . I offer dog walking services on Pawshake at weekends and on Holidays!

While I work as a dedicated solar panel installer during the week, my true passion lies in spending quality time with dogs. I may not have professional experience, but I have a natural understanding and connection with them. I believe in building trust and establishing a positive bond with every dog I walk.

On weekends, I'm fully available to devote my undivided attention to your beloved pets. I'll make sure they receive the care, exercise, and love they deserve during our walks together.

If you're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic dog walker to brighten up your weekends, I would be thrilled to be that person. Let's make your furry friend's weekend walks a memorable and enjoyable experience !

- yours Lucky!

I am Jana, a young professional and animals make me super happy! I grew up with rabbits as a kid and had one myself during COVID (sadly died due to hart issues RIP).
I watch a few dogs on a regular basis in my home/pass by owners homes and occasionally some Pawshake doggos next to catsitting mostly with overnight stays in other cities.
Would love to have my own dog some day, however due to my intense travel schedule I don't have my own and can also not commit to a regular schedule of dog sitting, so Pawshake and catsitting is a great tool!
All doggos are welcome, for the cats I am a bit more picky as I will have to go into someone's home.
I have a small apartment on the upstairs floor (no lift, no outside area), so that means lots of walks outside or chilling inside. My preferred days are Wednesdays and Fridays and occasionally on the weekends.
Send me a message and who knows maybe you love to give me the trust to hang out with your furry friend 🫶🏻
