Wij zijn Marcela (29 jaar) en Pieter (26 jaar). We werken allebei thuis op de woensdagen en vrijdagen, dus kunnen we met alle liefde op uw huisdier passen. We hebben zelf voor meerdere jaren kleine en grote honden gehad en hebben altijd op onze honden van vrienden en buren gepast. Momenteel hebben we nog geen eigen huisdier, maar we houden altijd van gezelschap van een huisider.&nbsp;
Ons 111m²  appartement is groot genoeg voor uw huisdier en alle spullen en natuurlijk om mee te spelen. We leven in Amsterdam Nieuw-West waar genoeg ruimte in de buurt is, waaronder een park, wat geweldig is voor uw hond. We kunnen honden uitlaten in de morgen, na werk en tijdens onze lunchpauze.
We zijn ook beschikbaar om op andere dieren te passen. Laat het ons weten als je geïnteresseerd bent, we staan altijd open voor een praatje of een kennismaking.&nbsp;

We are Marcela (29) and Pieter (26). We both work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, so we are available to pet-sit your lovely pets – and we would love to do it! We have had big and small dogs of our own for many years, and we have also looked after the dogs of friends and neighbours. We don't currently have a pet ourselves, but we always enjoy the company of a fluffy friend.
Our 111m² apartment has enough space for your pet and all its things, and of course for playing with them. We live in Amsterdam's Nieuw-West district, where there is plenty of space nearby, including a park, which is great for walking your dog! We can walk your dogs in the mornings, after work, and during our lunch break.&nbsp;

Hi! My name is Bea, and caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. I grew up surrounded by dogs and have experience with many different breeds and personalities, including a Labrador, German Shepherd, two Rottweilers, and a Maltese. Since moving to the Netherlands, I’ve really missed having a dog around, so becoming a dog sitter feels like the perfect way to combine my love for animals with helping owners feel at ease while they’re away.
I live in an apartment close to a large lake with a beautiful park, which is ideal for safe, enjoyable walks and outdoor time. I’m a very active person and genuinely enjoy long walks, playtime, and giving dogs the attention and care they need to feel happy and relaxed.
I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. I’m patient, caring, and attentive, and I always try to understand each dog’s personality. I also stay very responsive on my phone and can send regular updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing.
I speak English, Italian, and Spanish, plus a bit of Dutch. My only preference is that dogs are friendly and not aggressive.

    What is specifically included in the services you offer? Feeding, going on loads of walks at the park, watching the lion king together and so on...🤍
    Can I administer medication to pets? Yes I did with my dog! But It depends on the kind of medication; please consult me first and give me some heads up! Can you offer any training or grooming? No!
    How many dogs will I board at the same time? Maximum of 2 small but if big i rather one!
    How long are my dog walks? Depends on the weather conditions but if is a good day even the whole afternoon (with some fetch breaks of course ;)
    How many dog walks do I offer per day? As many as we want! I love walking, especially with the company of a hairy gentleman

    How does pet care fit into my daily or weekly routine? I put availability in the weekends as during the week I work. The weekends I am all for them!! 🩷

Hello! My name is Solana, I'm 25 years old and from Argentina. I've been living in the Netherlands for 3 years and been a pet sitter for about 2 years. I know how difficult it can be to trust someone with your furry friend, but I am here for you and, of course them! the most fun part of being a pet sitter would be playing and giving belly scratches, as well as some treats and going for walks. Being around loving animals is the best way to turn a bad day into the best possible. This is the main reason why I joined pawshake. I have also worked as a volunteer in a cat shelter close to where I live and it has been an amazing experience, I learned a lot on how to understand animals and their behaviour, as well as to take good care of them, as I was doing before with my cat back in Buenos Aires and, although now my mom is taking care of him, he's still my little baby️

Mijn naam is Willemijn en ik ben een hondenliefhebber in hart en nieren. Al van jongs af aan heb ik een speciale band met honden. Vroeger hadden wij thuis een hond, een vrolijke teckel, waarmee ik ben opgegroeid. Die ervaring heeft me niet alleen veel geleerd over het zorgen voor een hond, maar vooral ook hoeveel liefde en gezelschap een hond kan geven. Ook vind ik het heel mooi hoe een hond je in verbinding kan brengen met anderen!&nbsp;
Op dit moment heb ik zelf geen hond, maar gelukkig mag ik regelmatig voor de hond van mijn buurvrouw zorgen. We maken lange wandelingen, spelen samen en knuffelen veel. Het is altijd een feestje als ze weer komt logeren!
Honden brengen me rust, plezier en energie, en ik haal er veel voldoening uit om goed voor ze te zorgen. Daarom bied ik mezelf graag aan als hondenoppas. Of het nu gaat om een paar uurtjes wandelen of een logeerpartij: jouw hond is bij mij in liefdevolle handen.

Ik woon in een ruim appartement samen met mijn vriend, die ook dol is op honden. Het appartement bevindt zich op de tweede verdieping. Het is dus belangrijk dat de hond trap kan lopen, of dat ik hem gemakkelijk kan dragen.
Ik woon in een zeer groene omgeving, ideaal voor fijne wandelingen.
Ik sta ervoor open om overdag bij jou thuis op de hond te passen, zolang ik daar op afstand kan werken.&nbsp;

- I live in a spacious apartment together with my boyfriend, who also loves dogs. The apartment is on the second floor, so your dog should either be able to walk stairs or be light enough for me to carry.

My name is Hannah and I'm a freelance graphic designer based in Haarlem. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I come from a family of dog lovers and have always grown up with dogs (welsh terriers!) My parents run a dog boarding business back in the UK which I love helping out with when I visit and it has provided me with a good knowledge and experience of the different breeds, dog body language, personalities and behaviours.
I work remotely and can be flexible so alongside my creative projects I am providing -
Dog walking services - 1 hour walks around the area / local parks (can provide shorter or longer walks if preferred)
Home visits  - 1 or 2 home visits a day to check-in on your furry friend, feed them, take them out and making sure they are looked after whilst you're away.
Dog sitting services - Spending more time with your dog at your home and providing them with their home comforts, attention, walks and lots of cuddles! (daytime/evening for a few hours - please enquire)

After growing up with dogs I understand they are a part of the family (better than humans!). I am extremely reliable and trustworthy and will provide your dog with lots of attention and care, treating them like I would with my own.

I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember and have a lifelong love for their care and wellbeing. Growing up, I shared my home with both small and large dogs, from a lively Yorkshire Terrier to my current rescue, a large mixed dog who came into my life after I volunteered at an animal shelter abroad.

Over the years, I’ve built up a wide range of hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments and needs. In Dublin, I volunteered regularly at local animal shelters, where I walked dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Later, I spent three months living and working at an animal shelter on Kos Island, Greece, caring for both cats and dogs. Many of the animals there required extra attention—some were recovering from surgery, on medication, or needed patient handling due to past trauma. This gave me valuable experience in providing not just basic care, but also compassionate support for animals in recovery or those needing a little extra reassurance.

Through these experiences, I’ve developed a strong understanding of animal behavior, the importance of consistency, and the patience needed to earn an animal’s trust. I know how to safely handle large, strong dogs as well as more delicate or nervous animals.

Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love. I’d be delighted to bring the same care and dedication I give to my own rescue dog to looking after yours.
