My name is Monica and I came from Indonesia to the Netherlands 10 years ago to do my study, and I love this country so much that I decided to stay and work here!
Back home in Indonesia, I have 2 lovely dogs, called Coco and Chloe. My love for dogs became more and more as I watched my dogs grow, and I realized how much love and happiness dogs can give in my life. I miss my dogs everyday; but I am happy to see them as 2 happy spoiled old ladies!!
I would love to have dogs of my own here in the Netherlands, but I am also still very eager to travel and explore the world! Also every year, I would go back to Indonesia for a month, which is why it is too much of a commitment now to have dogs of my own.
However, I love to dog sit for a few days or a few weeks! I took care of +10 dogs (1-2 dogs each time) from various owners, and I had such a great time and also great connection with the dogs. Depending on the dogs, I would take the dog for short or long walks, or even runs if the dog likes it! I have experience with small, medium, and big dogs age 1-15 years old, but I am also open to take care of younger dogs!&nbsp;
I live with my boyfriend, and he loves dogs too. We live in a house on the 1st floor, with a terrace, so your dog will have a place to relax outside! In our neighbourhood, we have a "uitren zone" where the dogs can be let loose! I also like to have long walks or even run with the dogs if possible! 
So what you can expect from us for your dogs are: lots of attention, walks (if preferred), and most importantly, cuddles

My name is Hannah and I'm a freelance graphic designer based in Haarlem. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I come from a family of dog lovers and have always grown up with dogs (welsh terriers!) My parents run a dog boarding business back in the UK which I love helping out with when I visit and it has provided me with a good knowledge and experience of the different breeds, dog body language, personalities and behaviours.
I work remotely and can be flexible so alongside my creative projects I am providing -
Dog walking services - 1 hour walks around the area / local parks (can provide shorter or longer walks if preferred)
Home visits  - 1 or 2 home visits a day to check-in on your furry friend, feed them, take them out and making sure they are looked after whilst you're away.
Dog sitting services - Spending more time with your dog at your home and providing them with their home comforts, attention, walks and lots of cuddles! (daytime/evening for a few hours - please enquire)

After growing up with dogs I understand they are a part of the family (better than humans!). I am extremely reliable and trustworthy and will provide your dog with lots of attention and care, treating them like I would with my own.

I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember and have a lifelong love for their care and wellbeing. Growing up, I shared my home with both small and large dogs, from a lively Yorkshire Terrier to my current rescue, a large mixed dog who came into my life after I volunteered at an animal shelter abroad.

Over the years, I’ve built up a wide range of hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments and needs. In Dublin, I volunteered regularly at local animal shelters, where I walked dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Later, I spent three months living and working at an animal shelter on Kos Island, Greece, caring for both cats and dogs. Many of the animals there required extra attention—some were recovering from surgery, on medication, or needed patient handling due to past trauma. This gave me valuable experience in providing not just basic care, but also compassionate support for animals in recovery or those needing a little extra reassurance.

Through these experiences, I’ve developed a strong understanding of animal behavior, the importance of consistency, and the patience needed to earn an animal’s trust. I know how to safely handle large, strong dogs as well as more delicate or nervous animals.

Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love. I’d be delighted to bring the same care and dedication I give to my own rescue dog to looking after yours.

Although I don’t currently have a pet of my own, animals have always been part of my life. I had a cat in the past, and for the last three years I’ve regularly been pet sitting dogs of all sizes for friends. Spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy — dogs especially have a special place in my heart, and they usually feel comfortable with me very quickly.
I live in a cozy apartment in Leiden, without a garden or balcony, but I’m lucky to be surrounded by beautiful canals and large green parks, perfect for long, relaxed walks. I have a calm and caring personality, but I also enjoy being active outdoors, so your dog will get both affection and proper exercise.
I work full time but mostly from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention during the day. I’m mainly available on weekdays, and I make sure pets are never left alone for long periods.
I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and I’m comfortable with basic training and positive reinforcement. I’m good at setting gentle but clear boundaries, which helps dogs feel safe and relaxed. Of course, you’ll also receive regular photo updates, so you can travel with peace of mind.
I do pet sitting because I genuinely love animals and miss having one around. For me, it’s about creating meaningful, caring moments and making sure your pet feels at home, happy, and well looked after.
My routine will be determined on the dog's needs. If a dog walks 2 or 3 times a day I will be more than happy to do this.

Als enthousiaste dierenliefhebber pas ik graag op uw hond of kat. Al een levenlang zorg ik voor katten en heb ik geregeld voor honden gezorgd. Vanaf mijn kinderjaren heb ik geregeld honden uitgelaten als bijbaantje en vond ik het heerlijk om lang met ze op lad te gaan. In de afgelopen jaren heb ik vaak op honden van vrienden en familie gepast. Daarnaast heb ik zelf een aantal jaar een hond in huis gehad. Helaas past een eigen hond nu even niet, maar is dit een mooie win-win. Het is heerlijk om meerdere keren per dag met de hond naar buiten te gaan en lekker te wandelen. Als het even kan duiken we het bos in of lopen we een rondje door het plassengebied. Gelukkig kunnen we ook zo de deur uitlopen en hebben we een heerlijk park, bij uitstek geschikt voor honden. Uw hond of kat komt in een gezellig appartement terecht op de 3e verdieping. Trap kunnen lopen is wel een pré aangezien er geen lift is.
Voor de kat kunnen we ook een heerlijk plekje maken. Als het kan is het mogelijk om lekker buiten op het balkon te liggen.
Als u op zoek bent naar een consequente dierenvriend die het leuk vindt om de dieren aandacht te geven, dan bent u bij het goede adres. Met een gerust hart kunt u uw dieren achterlaten en krijgen ze de aandacht die nodig. We richten het dagritme zo in zoals de viervoerter dat thuis gewend is. Ook zorgen we dat er een plek is waar ze rust hebben en is er de mogelijkheid om in een aparte kamer te slapen als dit nodig blijkt. Aanvullende zorgafspraken kunnen indien nodig, altijd in overleg.


Originally from South Africa, I was fortunate to grow up in a tight knit family of animal lovers! Our 'gezin' and my grandparents had yorkies, my aunts and uncles had schnauzers, german short head pointers, richbacks, and border collies - so I grew with a lot of different types of dogs I'm not in a phase of my life where I can get my own Yorkie yet ( I've been nagging my husband for probably 2years ), so this is the best alternative!I will take the greatest care of your pet, I know they are like members of the family ️️I live in a very spacious apartment (118square metres) and am walking distance from great nature areas like Meerwijk plas and Burgemeester Reinaldapark, so there's plenty of beautiful walking space in nature My weekend walks will be so elevated with a dog companion, can't wait to spend some time with your pet ️

Hallo! I’m Gigi. A big 🤍Samoyedlover in Voorschoten!

Last summer I graduated from Leiden University (Human Rights Law — but these days I’m also fluent in “dog” and “cat”). I live in Voorschoten and absolutely adore animals!️

Back in China, I have two lovely cats, so I truly understand how important it is to treat pets like family. I also often helped my neighbor walk her adorable Corgi, and those walks could easily last around an hour — plenty of time for exercise, sniffing adventures, and a happy, tired pup afterwards.

Here in the Netherlands, I volunteer with the National Animal Care Foundation, where I help keep the cat area clean and cosy (yes, you could say I’m basically a professional litter box ninja).

Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I hold a Red Cross First Aid certificate, so I stay calm and know how to respond in unexpected situations. During walks, I always pay attention to how dogs behave and feel — even small things like their energy level or the condition of their poop can say a lot about their health.

I’m also happy to send you regular updates and cute photos during our walk, so you know your furry friend is safe, happy, and having fun.

I’m currently learning Dutch as well! While I’m not fluent yet, I already know basic pet commands like “zit” and “kom”, so your pup and I will understand each other just fine.

Mijn naam is Leonora, ik ben 21 jaar oud en volg momenteel de versnelde hbo-opleiding Verpleegkunde aan de Hogeschool van Leiden. Na het afronden van mijn mbo-opleiding Verpleegkunde ben ik direct doorgegaan met studeren en daarnaast werk ik met veel plezier in de thuiszorg. Zorgen zit echt in mij, en dat geldt niet alleen voor mensen, maar ook voor dieren. Al vanaf jongs af aan ben ik altijd bezig met dieren: ik pas regelmatig op hondjes, ga met ze wandelen en speel met ze, heb een verzorgpony, zorg voor poezen in de buurt en heb zelf ook konijnen gehad. 
Ik vind het belangrijk dat dieren zich veilig, rustig en vertrouwd voelen en dat de eigenaar met een gerust hart weg kan. Goed contact met de baasjes vind ik daarom erg belangrijk; duidelijke afspraken en wederzijds vertrouwen staan bij mij voorop. Ook tijdens vakanties ben ik beschikbaar als oppas.
