For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Nieuwkoop for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Nieuwkoop Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Nieuwkoop sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hey!
I’m a 26-year-old with a super flexible schedule and a lifelong love for animals — big, small, wild, or cuddly. I grew up surrounded by all kinds of creatures and have lots of hands-on experience caring for them.
A few years ago, I volunteered at an animal shelter in Mauritius, where I helped care for stray cats and dogs — many malnourished or injured. It taught me a lot about patience, gentleness, and giving extra love to animals who really need it.
I also passed the Attestation d’aptitude à la détention de chiens de catégorie 1 et 2, which means I’m officially qualified to care for strong or regulated breeds (pitbulls, rottweilers, etc.) — so if you’ve got a powerful pup, you’re in safe hands! I adapt to each animal’s needs with calm, confident care. Even though I can’t have pets in my apartment, I miss being around them every day.
I promise to put all my care and energy into looking after yours as if they were my own, and I hope I can earn your trust too!
Can’t wait to meet your furry friend!

Hi! My name is Ana, and I'm originally from Brazil. I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I'm a caring, responsible, and patient person who truly enjoys spending time with them. I believe pets are family, and I treat every pet with kindness, respect, and the individual attention they deserve.I recently moved to the Netherlands and now live in Sassenheim. I've really enjoyed getting to know the local community and, of course, all the wonderful pets around me. One of my favorite things about pet sitting is getting to know each pet's unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their family is away. My background is in Biomedical Sciences, and I've worked in clinical laboratories and clinical research. This experience has strengthened my sense of responsibility, attention to detail, organization, and commitment to providing safe and reliable care (qualities that I bring to every pet I look after!) I offer dog walking, home visits, and pet sitting, always adapting to your pet's routine and individual needs. During every visit, I make sure your pet has fresh water, food according to your instructions, playtime, companionship, and plenty of affection. Dog walks are tailored to your dog's age, energy level, and usual routine, ensuring they feel comfortable and enjoy their time outdoors.I understand how important trust is when choosing someone to care for your pet. That's why I always follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout each visit, so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind. If anything unexpected happens, I'll contact you immediately and make your pet's well-being my top priority.I'm currently studying English and have a B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level. My native language is Portuguese, and I'm happy to communicate in English.I currently offer pet care services in Leiden and the surrounding areas. If you're looking for someone reliable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animals, I'd be delighted to care for your pet. I look forward to meeting both of you!

Hoi!
