For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Lisserbroek for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Lisserbroek Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Lisserbroek sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hoi!

English Below:
About Me – A Dog Sitter with a Heart for Dogs
Hi! My name is Willemijn, 27 years old, and I’m a true dog lover. Ever since I was a child, I’ve felt a deep connection with dogs. We had a Dachshund when I was growing up, and caring for him taught me not only responsibility but also how much joy, comfort, and unconditional love a dog can bring into your life.
Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I regularly look after my neighbor’s dog a few times a year. I get to take care of her lovely dog when she’s on holiday. During those weeks, we go on long walks, play outside, and enjoy plenty of cuddles. I always look forward to having her stay with me — it’s like having a furry friend visit!
Dogs give me a sense of calm and happiness, and I genuinely enjoy making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I also love that dogs bring such connection with the people around us. Everyone is way more open when there's a dog by your side. That’s why I’m offering my services as a dog sitter. Whether it’s a walk or an overnight stay, your dog will be in kind and reliable hands with me.
I can’t wait to meet your four-legged friend!
Practical information
- I live in a spacious apartment together with my boyfriend, who also loves dogs. The apartment is on the second floor, so your dog should either be able to walk stairs or be light enough for me to carry.
- I live in a very green area, perfect for long and relaxing walk
- I’m also open to staying at your home during the day, as long as I’m able to work remotely from there.

I have lived with dogs for 24 of my 43 years, and they have always been an important part of my life. Over the years, I have learned a great deal about dog behavior, daily routines, exercise needs, and how to make dogs feel comfortable and safe in a home environment.

In addition to caring for my own dogs, I have regularly looked after friends’ dogs while they were away. This experience has allowed me to care for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I understand that every dog is unique and deserves individual attention and care.

I work from home regularly, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the dogs in my care. Dogs are never left alone for long periods and receive regular walks, playtime, attention, and affection throughout the day. I always follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, medication, and any special requirements.

Safety is extremely important to me. I introduce dogs calmly and carefully, keep a close eye on their behavior, and make sure they feel secure and relaxed. In case of an emergency, I remain calm, act responsibly, and contact both the owner and a veterinarian if necessary.
I only accept vaccinated dogs and I always aim to provide a safe, clean, and loving environment where dogs can feel at home while their owners are away. My goal is simple: to give both dogs and their owners complete peace of mind.
I typically provide 3 to 4 walks per day, depending on the dog’s age, energy level, and owner’s preferences. Walks usually last between 20 and 60 minutes. I am comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and energetic breeds. Although I do not have a fenced yard, dogs are always supervised and safely walked on a leash. My focus is to provide plenty of exercise, attention, and a calm environment where every dog feels secure and happy.

I have always loved dogs and would have one of my own right now if I could, but since that isn’t possible at the moment, I put that love into caring for other people’s pets. Being around dogs makes me genuinely happy, and pet sitting gives me the perfect opportunity to spend time with them while also helping families feel at ease knowing their pets are in good hands.

I’ve owned dogs myself and have also fostered dogs of all sizes, from tiny puppies to larger breeds. Through this, I’ve learned how to adapt to different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether it’s going for a long walk, playing fetch, or simply providing calm company, I make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and cared for.

My motivation is simple: I adore animals, and I will always treat your pets like they are part of my own family.

Hi! I'm an experienced dog owner in Amstelveen offering walks and home day care for small, friendly dogs.
Dogs have always been part of my life. I've owned and trained dogs, including working breeds, and caring for them has become one of my favourite hobbies.
WALKS: My own dog, Leni, is an 8-year-old dachshund who enjoys the company of other calm dogs. Every walk is with Leni, so your dog always has a friendly walking companion.
DAY CARE: We live in a house with a secure, fully fenced garden where dogs can relax indoors or outside. Day care is only offered on the days I work from home, so your dog is always supervised and never left alone.
MY APPROACH: I believe in calm, positive care and adapting to each dog's personality and pace. Whether it's a relaxed walk around Amstelveen or spending the day with us, your dog will be treated like part of the family.
If you're looking for a reliable, experienced dog lover and would like your dog to enjoy some company while you're away, I'd love to hear from you.

Hoi!
