Wij zijn een gezin met twee kinderen van 4 en 7 en zijn gek op dieren. We wonen samen met onze twee Main Coon katten en zouden dolgraag zelf een hond willen. Helaas werken wij beide nooit thuis en kunnen de hond ook niet meenemen naar werk. Het leek ons dan ook heel leuk om op de dagen dat we vrij zijn aandacht te geven aan andere hondjes en toch zo een beetje te kunnen genieten van die gezelligheid. We zijn beide opgegroeid met honden en passen vaak op de drie honden van mijn ouders. We zijn gewend aan grote rassen (Kucasz, Anatolische herder, Duitse herder, labradoodle, Hovawart) maar ook kleinere honden hebben we ervaring mee (poedel, cocker spaniël, etc). 
De kinderen zijn dus gewend aan dieren en gaan er goed mee om. We wonen in een rustige buurt in Haarlem met directe toegang tot meerdere uitlaatgebieden. Verder zijn we erg vaak op het strand te vinden voor een wandeling!
In overleg kunnen we ook 's nachts op je huisdier passen. Dit vinden we ook alleen maar gezellig!
Onze katten zijn Main Coons en zijn zoals vaak bij dit ras erg makkelijk met honden en andere dieren.

I grew up with cats and dogs, so being around animals has always felt natural. Over the years, I’ve cared for my own pets and helped out with those of friends and neighbors. These days, I also welcome dogs into my home, where they can relax on the couch, enjoy daily walks in the park, and get lots of love, playtime, and attention.

I work from home, so your dog will have company throughout the day. We go out for short walks during my breaks, and after work we enjoy a longer walk through the park. I live near a large green area — perfect for exploring, playing, and getting fresh air.

Originally from South Africa, I was fortunate to grow up in a tight knit family of animal lovers! Our 'gezin' and my grandparents had yorkies, my aunts and uncles had schnauzers, german short head pointers, richbacks, and border collies - so I grew with a lot of different types of dogs I'm not in a phase of my life where I can get my own Yorkie yet ( I've been nagging my husband for probably 2years ), so this is the best alternative!I will take the greatest care of your pet, I know they are like members of the family ️️I live in a very spacious apartment (118square metres) and am walking distance from great nature areas like Meerwijk plas and Burgemeester Reinaldapark, so there's plenty of beautiful walking space in nature My weekend walks will be so elevated with a dog companion, can't wait to spend some time with your pet ️

Hi there! I’m an international student from South Africa and a lifelong dog lover. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities (from puppies to older rescues with a bit of anxiety or reactivity). Back home, I have four lovely dogs who I miss dearly, so spending time with dogs here really feels like home to me.

I always make safety a priority when walking dogs, and will make sure to use secure leashes and keep an eye out on our surroundings. I am happy to adjust the route or pace depending on what your dog enjoys. I love finding quiet paths for more relaxed pups or longer walks for those with extra energy to burn.
I’ve also done some volunteer work at animal shelters, so I’m comfortable with dogs that need a little extra patience or reassurance. Whether it’s a fun walk, some playtime, or just good company, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved.

Hallo! I’m Gigi. A big 🤍Samoyedlover in Voorschoten!

Last summer I graduated from Leiden University (Human Rights Law — but these days I’m also fluent in “dog” and “cat”). I live in Voorschoten and absolutely adore animals!️

Back in China, I have two lovely cats, so I truly understand how important it is to treat pets like family. I also often helped my neighbor walk her adorable Corgi, and those walks could easily last around an hour — plenty of time for exercise, sniffing adventures, and a happy, tired pup afterwards.

Here in the Netherlands, I volunteer with the National Animal Care Foundation, where I help keep the cat area clean and cosy (yes, you could say I’m basically a professional litter box ninja).

Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I hold a Red Cross First Aid certificate, so I stay calm and know how to respond in unexpected situations. During walks, I always pay attention to how dogs behave and feel — even small things like their energy level or the condition of their poop can say a lot about their health.

I’m also happy to send you regular updates and cute photos during our walk, so you know your furry friend is safe, happy, and having fun.

I’m currently learning Dutch as well! While I’m not fluent yet, I already know basic pet commands like “zit” and “kom”, so your pup and I will understand each other just fine.
