Hi! I'm a medical student with a very flexible schedule and a big love for dogs. I've grown up in a house where there were always dogs around, mostly large breeds (Napoleon Mastiff, Saint Bernard, Great Dane, Portuguese mountain dog), so l'm very comfortable with strong, active dogs.
I enjoy long walks and would love to have some four-legged company to join me. I also have a few parks close to my house where this would be possible. Now that I live on my own, I miss having furry friends around. That's why l'd love to spend time and play with your dog.
Further, there is an enclosed garden with space for dogs to play in my house. This allows them the freedom and relaxation they deserve when they are not on walks.
I have many years of experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. From playful puppies to calm seniors. I love getting to know their personalities and making sure they feel safe and happy. I speak Dutch, English, Portuguese, and Spanish, so we'll probably get along just fine 

Hoi ! I am a French Master's student at the University of Groningen. I have always had pets in my life, and now, being far from home, I am starting to miss them. The perfect compromise ? Taking care of your little ones !&nbsp;
I cared for horses for a large part of my life, but also my own dog and cat who stayed in France. I was always the one trusted to look after the dogs and cats of my friends and family, simply because I love them and I enjoy taking care of them. I usually go on long walks with dogs, in a park or forest when possible. And I am getting to know the nice spots in Groningen and its surroundings. I can play with dogs, but also with cats. We know that these little creatures can be really needy, I am there to serve those needs :)

Over the years, I have learned to respect pets' boundaries and have adopted a very calm approach. Of course, I love to play around when they are up for it, and I am a very outdoorsy person ! The more I can take your dog outside for a long walk, the happier we will both be, whatever their size. For puppies, I will strictly follow your training instructions.

I also offer my services for cats and other pets. I love spending time with them and making sure they are well cared for, as I am very attentive to detail. Thus, I can check up on them while you are on a holidays for 1h a day, or more if needed : 
- to feed them, clean the litterbox, give medication, brush and stay with them a little while so they don't feel alone too much ️

And you can be reassured while being away, pictures and updates will be send over my time with them so you know everything that is going on in your absence.&nbsp;

Hallo dierenbaasjes,
Ik ben een supergrote dierenliefhebber en heb sinds een jaartje een klein lief hondje geadopteerd uit Roemenië. We wonen vlakbij het Noorderplantsoen en hebben het heerlijk samen. Dasja en ik vinden het superleuk om af en toe op een andere hond te passen. Regelmatig krijgen we een hondje te logeren en dit gaat super goed. Het enige is dat ik geen honden wil uitlaten die uitvallen of blaffen/grommen naar andere honden. Want dan doet Dasja mee. Ook wil ik eerst altijd een korte wandeling doen samen en een 'huis test' om te kijken of het klikt tussen onze honden alvorens ik op hem of haar ga passen.
Ik heb in Madrid en Indonesië vrijwilligerswerk gedaan bij een honden asiel en deze honden uitgelaten en getraumatiseerde honden geholpen bij het vertrouwen van mensen. Ook Dasja was de eerste maanden heel bang en is nog steeds voorzichtig met mensen. Ik heb daarom ervaring met angstige schuwe honden. Momenteel doe ik vrijwilligerswerk voor een particuliere hondenopvang die straathonden herplaatst. 
De diensten die ik aanbied zijn:
- Wandelen, ongeveer een uur, samen met Dasja in de omgeving van uw huis.
- Spelen / trainen met hond (ik kan de volgende gedragingen aanleren: zit, naast, poot, high five, lig/af, en de hond leren om speeltjes te zoeken die ik verstop)
- Hond gezelschap houden en op de hond passen, voor een dag of logeren van meerdere dagen. natuurlijk laat ik de hond dan uit (3 of 4 keer), speel ik met de hond en geef ik de hond eten en drinken.
- medicatie toedienen heb ik wel eens gedaan, in de vorm van pillen verstoppen in wat lekkers. Andere medicatie toedienen heb ik geen ervaring mee.
Ik heb ook ervaring met het verzorgen van katten, en bied daarom ook huisbezoeken aan om uw kat te verzorgen. Ik kan niet op een kat passen in huis omdat mijn hond niet goed gaat met katten.

Hello pet owners,

I’m a huge animal lover and about a year ago I adopted a sweet little dog from Romania. We live near the Noorderplantsoen in Groningen and love spending time together. Dasja and I really enjoy having other dogs stay with us from time to time, and we’ve already looked after several dogs successfully.

The only thing I ask is that the dogs I walk or look after are not reactive towards other dogs (for example barking, growling, or lunging), as Dasja may copy that behaviour. Before agreeing to dog sit, I always like to arrange a short walk together followed by a visit to my home to make sure our dogs get along well.

I have volunteered at dog shelters in Madrid and Indonesia, where I walked dogs and worked with traumatized dogs to help them build trust in people. Dasja herself was very fearful during her first months with me and is still a little cautious around strangers, so I have experience with shy and anxious dogs. I currently volunteer for a private rescue organization that rehomes stray dogs from Romania.

Services I offer:

Dog walking – Approximately one hour, together with Dasja, in your local area.

Playtime and basic training – I can teach basic commands such as sit, stay close (heel), paw, high five, down, and even fun scent games where your dog searches for hidden toys.

Dog sitting – Whether for the day or for several days. During their stay, your dog will receive 3–4 walks a day, plenty of playtime, fresh food and water, and lots of companionship.

Medication – I have experience giving tablets by hiding them in treats. I don’t have experience administering other types of medication.

I also have experience caring for cats and therefore offer home visits to feed, care for, and spend time with your cat. Unfortunately, I can’t have cats stay in my home because my dog doesn’t get along well with cats.

Hello! My name is Shadow, I'm 20 years old, and in 2025 I graduated with an animal husbandry diploma, having experience with cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, rodents, rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep, goats, alpacas, and more. I’m eager to gain more hands-on experience in petsitting, which is why I’m offering my services. I have a diverse background, having completed a 3-week internship with an animal ambulance, where I learned a lot about emergency animal care and handling. I’ve also completed a 15-week internship at a cat hotel, where I managed the day-to-day care and feeding of numerous feline guests, helping them feel comfortable and secure. And I've completed a 3-week internship at a parrot shop, giving me experience caring for birds.
In addition, I completed an incredible 10-week internship at ZA Cheetah Experience in South Africa, working closely with exotic animals, including cheetahs, caracals, wolves, lions, servals, leopards, and even hyenas. This unique experience taught me patience, respect for animals’ individual needs, and safe handling practices with both domestic and wild animals. While I primarily have experience with cats, I am also comfortable with dogs and small pets like rodents.
