I am a 28 year old South-African in the Netherlands. I love dogs dearly and since I miss my own pets who are still in South-Africa, I have lots of love and cuddles to give the pets here in the Netherlands. I would love to host them here at our place which has an outdoor area to play around, take them for walks or check-in at their own homes for belly rubs and snacks . I would also love to meet the families of these dogs and asure you that I will take care of your fur-baby to the best of my ability. Since coming to the Netherlands I have fallen in love with the Labradoodles and I hope to convince my husband to add this sweet curly teddy-like pet to our family. Fingers crossed. In the meantime I'm happy to give my time, energy and love towards the ones who need it. 

Hoi! Mijn naam is Lorraine, ik ben 27 jaar en woon samen met mijn man en onze twee dochters in Gorinchem Oost. Dieren zijn al mijn hele leven een groot onderdeel van ons gezin. We hebben zelf altijd huisdieren gehad en weten hoe belangrijk het is om met een gerust hart de zorg voor je dier aan iemand anders toe te vertrouwen.
Ik heb ervaring met honden, katten, konijnen, cavia’s, hamsters, vissen en paarden. Voor mij maakt het niet uit of een dier jong, oud, groot, klein, energiek of juist wat onzeker is; ieder dier krijgt de rust, aandacht en liefde die het nodig heeft.
Wat bied ik aan?
 Huisbezoeken (duur in overleg, gemiddeld 30 minuten)
 Voeren, vers water geven en natuurlijk veel aandacht en knuffels
 Medicatie toedienen indien nodig (in overleg)
 Planten water geven of een kleine extra handeling in huis als je wat langer weg bent
 Na ieder bezoek ontvang je een leuke foto en een update, zodat je precies weet hoe het met jouw huisdier gaat.
Veiligheid staat voor mij altijd voorop. Mocht er tijdens een wandeling of huisbezoek onverwacht iets gebeuren, dan blijf ik rustig, denk ik in oplossingen en neem ik direct contact met je op. Als het nodig is, aarzel ik niet om met jouw huisdier naar de dierenarts te gaan. Gelukkig ga ik daar niet van uit, maar ik vind het belangrijk dat je weet dat jouw dier bij mij in verantwoordelijke handen is.
Ook let ik op de kleine dingen. Heeft de kat een bloempot van de vensterbank gegooid? Is er iets omgevallen of kapot gegaan? Dan ruim ik dat netjes op en laat ik het je natuurlijk weten. Open en eerlijke communicatie vind ik heel belangrijk.
Overdag kan het voorkomen dat mijn dochtertje van 10 weken mee is tijdens een huisbezoek.  Ze ligt dan heerlijk in de kinderwagen te slapen of rustig om zich heen te kijken. Uiteraard gebeurt dit alleen wanneer dit past bij jouw huisdier en altijd in overleg. In de avond ben ik zonder haar beschikbaar.

Binnenkort bieden wij, zodra onze eigen Dalmatiër Buddy volledig hersteld en gewend is na zijn castratie, ook opvang aan huis aan. Jouw huisdier komt dan terecht in een warm gezin waar aandacht, rust, liefde en gezelligheid centraal staan.
Ik behandel ieder huisdier alsof het mijn eigen dier is. Ik weet hoe spannend het kan zijn om de zorg uit handen te geven en daarom doe ik er alles aan om ervoor te zorgen dat zowel jij als jouw huisdier zich prettig en vertrouwd voelen.
