We are a dog-loving couple who has almost 15 years of experience taking care of puppies! We think of all dogs as our own, and are skilled in training puppies to do tricks. We have a terrace for the dog to run around in and play in, and we make sure the dog is well-exercised and rested.&nbsp;
I am on a work break, and am available to take care of your dogs throughout the week. 
We will have a separate area for the dog to eat and sleep in, which will be close to our living area. The dog will be played with, walked and given a lot of love in our household. We will keep the dog entertained and challenged, to make sure they are not bored.
We have a huge dog park behind our house, where we take the dog for their walks. They get a lot of exercise on our terrace with their favourite toys and we also make sure they practice their commands with us!
We have been taking care of dogs in Utrecht for over a year, and have had the privilege to have over 20 dogs at home!

I’m a 29 yo Brazilian that moved to the Netherlands 2 years ago with my partner, and started pet sitting to help with how much I missed my old dogs (that stayed with my parents in Brazil).
Later on, we decided to adopt 2 rescue kitties, and now the 4 of us love to welcome our cat-friendly dog guests.
I used the app on the first year and met so many great people (with their pets), then I had to deactivate my account temporarily to reorganize my schedule, and prioritize the known/ returning clients.

Hi! Ik ben Kim, ik ben 26 jaar en ben net begonnen met een parttime baan. Ik heb altijd in een omgeving gewoont er veel dieren, vroeger was ik vaak op de boerderij te vinden waar ik hielp met het verzorgen van verschillende kleine dieren zoals katten, honden en kippen, en vond dit altijd super leuk om te doen!
In de periode van 01-11-2025 tot 1-5-2026 ben ik beschikbaar als (gratis) huisoppas voor langere tijd!
Aangezien ik net naar Utrecht ben verhuisd en daar geen huisdieren hebben lijkt het me erg leuk om via pawshake toch in een omgeving te zijn met dieren. Ik ben beschikbaar voor huisbezoeken en voor het uitlaten van honden.&nbsp;
Ik heb zelf een hond, twee konijnen en een hamster gehad en ik pas vaak op een hond en op katten in mijn omgeving. Ik ben beschikbaar in de omgeving Utrecht en aangezien ik niet heel veel uren werk ben ik vrij flexibel qua huisbezoeken voor huisdieren.&nbsp;
Ik ben bereid om meerdere keren per dag bij uw huisdier langs te gaan (hond/kat/konijn/cavia/hamster) om eten en drinken te geven en natuurlijk de nodige aandacht (tot 3 uur per bezoek) daarnaast kan ik uw huisdier ook uitlaten (eventueel ook meerdere keren per dag).&nbsp;
Tijdend het huisbezoek zal ik foto's maken van uw huisdier zodat u zeker weet dat het goed gaat met hem/haar en u met een gerust hart op vakantie/ naar uw werk etc kan :)&nbsp;
Ik ben bereid om 30 min tot 2 uur met uw hond te wandelen per wandeling. Ik woon zelf bij een park, wat natuurlijk een fijne plek is om te wandelen maar ik vind het ook geen probleem om in uw buurt te wandelen.&nbsp;
Ik ben in overleg bereid om meerdere weken op uw huisdier te passen en u kunt erop vertrouwen dat uw huisdier in goede handen is.&nbsp;

Our goal is to make your dog feel at home with us.

We are a couple (34 &amp; 35) of dog lovers. After dog sitting for many years, we had our own dog, an older rescue from Greece called Liloe, who passed away in 2022. Since then we've been dog sitting again. Every dog is unique and we love to hear from you what you think your dog needs most from their stay with us :) In our photo gallery you will find a couple of our recurring visitors, Olof, Foley, Bob, Lula, Spike, Lola, Maggie, Coco &amp; Nozem. 

We have a nice and clean two bedroom apartment in Utrecht city centre, close to the Stadsschouwburg. It is on the ground floor, so no stairs. When we open our back door, we step onto the singel of Utrecht where there is a big dog park. Next to walking your dog in the park, we also love to go to the forest and / or to our big vegetable allotment in Utrecht Lunetten! We attached a couple of photos of our apartment and the allotment in the photo gallery. This allotment has a fence all around and your dog has a lot of freedom there to run/roll/sleep/play on this grass. We adjust our activities to what your dog needs. Some dogs need a lot of activities/running/playing/games and others like to avoid unnecessary stimulation and want some peace! 

We are home a lot, since we can both work from home if we want. We usually walk 3 or 4 times a day, but it depends on what your dog is used to. We will also talk with you about what your dog is used to when it comes to being home alone for a bit! If we can, we usually like to bring the dog with us wherever we go, so there is no need for him/her to be alone during their stay:)

We love making long walks, or being in the vegetable garden. At home we have a cosy (orthopaedic) dog bed ready. If your dog is up for a drive with the car: we have a car and a dog seatbelt. Soesterduinen here we come!

When you request a sleepover / dog boarding, we always want to make sure the dog has met us and has seen our home beforehand. We host one dog at a time, to make sure he/she has all our attention!

Our availability is usually on Wednesdays/Thursdays and in weekends. On Monday en Friday we are already dog sitting weekly, so those days we usually aren't available. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us a message!

Dear pawrents, My name is Linda and since 2020, I'm the proud dog mom of Maia, a 5-kg Maltese. I have decided to become a pet sitter, whenever possible, as I am familiar with having difficulties finding a dog sitter. Thus, I hope my availability can help to make it a tiny bit easier to find a trustworthy pet sitter. Since I was young, I have lived with cats and dogs, but dogs stole my heart. My first family dogs were 2 German Shepherd and a small Poodle. During my teenage years, I was responsible for 2 5kg white fur balls (maltipoos), and in my late teenage years, my family welcomed 2 pugs. Sadly when I moved to Europe I had to say bye to them as they remained with my family.
I live in an apartment with big windows facing an avenue (perfect for dog and people watching, in case your dog is into that), and with a balcony. The apartment is near a dog leash-free park and a canal.&nbsp;
Since I also have a small dog, I have a preference for small, hypoallergenic, female (but not exclusive) dogs who are potty trained. If that's your dog, then be sure that I will spoil your dog during her/his time with me.
If your desired dates are not available, reach out to me as my dates might become flexible.&nbsp;
Overnight stays: For long stays, I highly recommend meeting up in advance, if this is the first time I'm doggy sitting your dog to see if it's a match. This is to guarantee that Maia and your fur baby are a match for longer periods. 24hr - stays.&nbsp;
Day Boarding: I will make sure your dog enjoys the dog castle full of toys and you will receive photos/videos updates during his/her stay. 10hr-stays
Dog Walks: in consultation and only in the vicinity.

I grew up with dogs around me, and for the majority of my life had a dog of my own (a Golden Retriever called Lena). Originally from Switzerland, I moved to the Netherlands four years ago to study at University. Although I would love to have a dog of my own again, I don't have enough financial stability for that just yet - thus dog sitting is a great solution for me!  I feel super comfortable around all dogs, big or small, male or female. I am also okay with giving medicine if needed, and would love to try and teach some tricks if you want!  I offer dog walking, home visits, house sitting, doggy daycare, and home dog boarding... I am generally just happy to be around those four-legged energy bundles. Next to that, it's a great way to stay active :-) Below some more information on each service:  Dog walking: I live only a street away from the Catharijnesingel, where it is great to go on walks with dogs! Walking times would range from 30 min to 2 hours, depending on the needs of your dog. Depending on where you live, I am happy to take your dog on walks in their known environment, or explore new areas with them. What is important to me is to align well with you and your dogs needs, and adjust accordingly. I offer one long walk or one to two short walks per day.Home visits: From the centre of Utrecht I can reach most neighbourhoods with a breezy 10 min cycle. On a typical home visit, I would stay between 30 min to 1 hour, where I make sure your pet is in a clean environment, has enough to drink, give food if required, and take your dog(s) outisde to the toilet. Next to that I am happy to spend time playing with your pet, and check that the house is alright (mail, garbage, windows closed, etc.).House sitting: During a house sit I stay at your house while you are gone and make sure your house and your pet(s) are well taken care of. Next to the services of house visits, I would also take your dog(s) on a long walk or two shorter ones (depending on what we agree on). I will make sure your house is clean and not leave the pets alone for more than 3 hours - and of course send daily (photo) updates of your furry friend to you :-). Doggy daycare: I live in an apartment in the city centre where pets are more than welcome! Your dog will be free to move around in my flat, and I will make sure it is safe for them to do so (i.e. nothing to hurt them or that they could ingest). Next to feeding and playing with them, I will take your dog on walks as needed, either (multiple) shorter ones of 30 min or longer ones of 1-2 hours. I live with one roommate who is also happy to be around dogs, but their care will be fully in my hands. We have no pets of our own. Cats: Unfortunately I am slightly allergic to cats, which means that I can be around them for house visits and sitting, but cannot host them in my own apartment. Home dog boarding: Next to the services of doggy daycare, I will make sure your dog has a comfortable place to sleep where they feel safe. I will make sure that they are not left alone for more than 3 hours, and have enough to eat, drink, play - overall that they have a great time with me! I only board one dog or one "household" of 1-2 dogs at the same time, to make sure I have enough time and attention for them. Cats: Unfortunately I am slightly allergic to cats, which means that I can be around them for house visits and sitting, but cannot host them in my own apartment. Note on my own apartment: I live on the first floor, and the entry stairs are fairly steep - see the photo gallery. If your dog is small I am happy to carry them up and down, but if you have a larger dog they need to be able to walk up and down the stairs themselves.
