I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes.Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands.As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. Over the years, I have cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I am also happy to tend to gardens or house plants when needed.
After moving to Utrecht for my studies, I began offering my own dog walking and pet sitting services to pet owners I met in the city and at nearby nature spots. A few years later and I am completing my Master's degree at Utrecht University, whilst working as a dog walker for an Utrecht-based hondenuitlaatservice.&nbsp;
I have a great deal of patience when dealing with animals. When necessary I can be firm with correcting behaviour of the animals I am looking after. That being said, I strongly believe that in almost all cases an animal will respond much better when spoken to with kindness and care. I have my own studio with elevator accessibility. Only two minutes walk from my studio is lots of nature and forests, as well as a large area specifically for dogs to walk both on and off the lead.
I am very familiar with all the local dog parks too. Every animal is a little bit unique in how they like to play and rest, but I like to think that I always match their energy. I have never met a dog I couldn't tire out! I am finishing up my MA thesis at Utrecht University, often working from home which is very compatible with pet care.&nbsp;
I also am working a lot as a dog walker for an Utrecht based company. So even on the days I am working with other dogs I can easily bring any dog that I am looking after with me for the group walk, which is a great opportunity for group socialisation.

In 2025, My two elder dogs (15.5 years old Malteese Terrier &amp; 13 years old Jack Russell Terrier) passed away. Ik studeer momenteel HBO bouwkunde in Tilburg en werk daarnaast als leidinggevende bij het Van der Valk Hotel in Utrecht. Sinds ik studeer werk ik weer minder, ik ben altijd een bezig bijtje geweest met uiteenlopende 4 bijbaantjes. Van sales tot klantenservice en webshop tot oppas, van alle markten thuis.
Belangrijkste is dat Ik een ontzettende dierenvriend ben. (voornamelijk honden, voor katten heb ik namelijk een lichte allergische reactie) Altijd aan mijn ouders gevraagd om een hond en maar liefst 17 jaar later kregen we er dan ook eindelijk een ;) Ik heb ervaring met verschillende grootte honden en rassen. Daarnaast ook vaker een aantal dagen verbleven bij andermans huisdieren in huis.

We are a dog-loving couple who has almost 15 years of experience taking care of puppies! We think of all dogs as our own, and are skilled in training puppies to do tricks. We have a terrace for the dog to run around in and play in, and we make sure the dog is well-exercised and rested.&nbsp;
I am on a work break, and am available to take care of your dogs throughout the week. 
We will have a separate area for the dog to eat and sleep in, which will be close to our living area. The dog will be played with, walked and given a lot of love in our household. We will keep the dog entertained and challenged, to make sure they are not bored.
We have a huge dog park behind our house, where we take the dog for their walks. They get a lot of exercise on our terrace with their favourite toys and we also make sure they practice their commands with us!

Dagopvang &amp; Logeeropvang:Jouw huisdier zal zich direct thuis voelen in mijn ruime woning met een open woonkamer, keuken en tuin. Huisdieren mogen vrij rondlopen, lekker op de bank liggen of spelen in huis. Je hond wordt nooit alleen gelaten zonder dit eerst met jou te overleggen. In geval van nood is mijn partner – ook een echte dierenliefhebber – beschikbaar. We wonen samen en zorgen als team voor jouw huisdier.
Hondenuitlaatservice:Ik bied wandelingen van 30 tot 45 minuten aan, afgestemd op de behoeften en voorkeuren van je hond – of ze nu graag door lokale parken struinen, ontspannen door de buurt lopen of liever wandelen langs het rustige riviertje achter mijn huis.

Huisoppas:Voelt jouw huisdier zich het prettigst in zijn eigen omgeving? Dan bied ik huisoppas aan waarbij ik bij jou thuis verblijf om persoonlijke zorg te verlenen. Ik houd me aan alle noodzakelijke veiligheidsmaatregelen – zoals het goed afsluiten van ramen en deuren – en zorg ervoor dat je dier gezelschap, comfort en aandacht krijgt gedurende jouw afwezigheid.

Extra zorg:Ik help graag met lichte verzorging zoals borstelen of een bad geven, en kan ook ondersteunen bij basistraining en gehoorzaamheidscommando’s – ideaal voor jonge of energieke honden. Heeft je hond orale medicatie nodig? Dan geef ik dit zorgvuldig volgens de instructies van jou of de dierenarts.&nbsp;

My name is Tallie, and I'm an American living in the Netherlands for 4.5 years. I love animals, but I was never allowed a pet when I was a kid. But in recent years, I've been lucky enough to walk dogs as a part-time job for over a year; my family adopted an older rescue dog named Buddy, and I was in charge of his care for about 6 months; and, last but not least, I was a proud hedgehog owner for 3 years!&nbsp;

Hallo, ik ben Tallie en ik ben een Amerikaanse expat die 4.5 jaar in Nederland woont. Ik hou van dieren, maar als kind mocht ik geen huisdieren hebben. Maar sinds kort had ik een bijbaan bij een hondenuitlaatservice voor meer dan een jaar; mijn familie adopteerde een oude reddingshond, Buddy, waar ik 6 maanden voor heb gezorgd; en ik was 3 jaar een trotse egeltje baas.&nbsp;
Als er in mijn huis een huisdier zou passen, zou ik een kat of hond hebben, maar voorlopig ben ik beschikbaar om voor uw lieve huisdier(en) te zorgen. Ik ben flexibel maar kan geen huisdieren in mijn apartement hebben. Ik hoor graag van u!

Hallo daar! Ik ben Emma (22) en Koen (28). Wij wonen samen in een ruim huis met tuin in Eemnes. Sinds 1,5 jaar delen we dit huis met onze aussie pup Hunter! Onze droom was altijd een actieve slimme hond te nemen en dat is gelukt! Hunter is een fantastische hond die overal voor in is en ook overal mee naartoe gaat. Hij luisterd goed (naast af en toe een puber momentje) is super knuffelig maar speelt ook heel graag. 
Op de zondag en maandag zijn wij allebei vrij en doen wij altijd veel om Hunter bezig te houden. Wij wandelen graag bij landgoed Groeneveld of zoeken een nieuw losloopgebiedje. Omdat we toch altijd al met Hunter in het weekend op stap gaan en Hunter niets leuker vindt dan spelen met andere honden kunnen we er best af en toe een speelmaatje bij hebben. 
Hunter is natuurlijk hoog in zijn energie en kan best ruig spelen (denk aan omver beuken, stokken afpakken etc) dus jouw/jullie hond moet dat natuurlijk wel zelf ook leuk vinden. We hebben geen voorkeur voor een reutje of teefje maar Hunter is niet gecastreerd en een puber dus kan hij nog wel eens de grens van andere honden op zoeken. Als jou hond aangeeft dat hij/zij er klaar mee is dan luistert hij hier direct naar maar jou hond moet dus wel van zich af kunnen bijten. 
Onze enige andere eis is dat jou/jullie hond goed onder apel staat want wij zoeken wel losloopgebiedjes op waar ze lekker hun gang kunnen gaan. Uiteraard zijn honden geen robots, maar gelukkig hebben we zelf een aussie opgevoed die uitstekend luisterd en weten we heus hoe we met honden om moeten gaan. Maar een hond die in konijnen hollen duikt of wegrent van de auto zitten we niet op te wachten ;)&nbsp;
