Our goal is to make your dog feel at home with us.

We are a couple (34 &amp; 35) of dog lovers. After dog sitting for many years, we had our own dog, an older rescue from Greece called Liloe, who passed away in 2022. Since then we've been dog sitting again. Every dog is unique and we love to hear from you what you think your dog needs most from their stay with us :) In our photo gallery you will find a couple of our recurring visitors, Olof, Foley, Bob, Lula, Spike, Lola, Maggie, Coco &amp; Nozem. 

We have a nice and clean two bedroom apartment in Utrecht city centre, close to the Stadsschouwburg. It is on the ground floor, so no stairs. When we open our back door, we step onto the singel of Utrecht where there is a big dog park. Next to walking your dog in the park, we also love to go to the forest and / or to our big vegetable allotment in Utrecht Lunetten! We attached a couple of photos of our apartment and the allotment in the photo gallery. This allotment has a fence all around and your dog has a lot of freedom there to run/roll/sleep/play on this grass. We adjust our activities to what your dog needs. Some dogs need a lot of activities/running/playing/games and others like to avoid unnecessary stimulation and want some peace! 

We are home a lot, since we can both work from home if we want. We usually walk 3 or 4 times a day, but it depends on what your dog is used to. We will also talk with you about what your dog is used to when it comes to being home alone for a bit! If we can, we usually like to bring the dog with us wherever we go, so there is no need for him/her to be alone during their stay:)

We love making long walks, or being in the vegetable garden. At home we have a cosy (orthopaedic) dog bed ready. If your dog is up for a drive with the car: we have a car and a dog seatbelt. Soesterduinen here we come!

When you request a sleepover / dog boarding, we always want to make sure the dog has met us and has seen our home beforehand. We host one dog at a time, to make sure he/she has all our attention!

Our availability is usually on Wednesdays/Thursdays and in weekends. On Monday en Friday we are already dog sitting weekly, so those days we usually aren't available. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us a message!

My name is Tallie, and I'm an American living in the Netherlands for 4.5 years. I love animals, but I was never allowed a pet when I was a kid. But in recent years, I've been lucky enough to walk dogs as a part-time job for over a year; my family adopted an older rescue dog named Buddy, and I was in charge of his care for about 6 months; and, last but not least, I was a proud hedgehog owner for 3 years!&nbsp;
If my apartment could fit a pet, I would have a cat or dog, but in the meantime, I'm available to look after your beloved pet(s). I'm flexible with the services I offer, but I can't have pets in my apartment. Feel free to reach out for more info!&nbsp;

Hi, thanks for checking my profile!  My name is Rebecca, and I absolutely love dogs. I grew up with dogs around me, and for the majority of my life had a dog of my own (a Golden Retriever called Lena). Originally from Switzerland, I moved to the Netherlands four years ago to study at University. Although I would love to have a dog of my own again, I don't have enough financial stability for that just yet - thus dog sitting is a great solution for me!  I feel super comfortable around all dogs, big or small, male or female. I am also okay with giving medicine if needed, and would love to try and teach some tricks if you want!  I offer dog walking, home visits, house sitting, doggy daycare, and home dog boarding... I am generally just happy to be around those four-legged energy bundles. Next to that, it's a great way to stay active :-) Below some more information on each service:  Dog walking: I live only a street away from the Catharijnesingel, where it is great to go on walks with dogs! Walking times would range from 30 min to 2 hours, depending on the needs of your dog. Depending on where you live, I am happy to take your dog on walks in their known environment, or explore new areas with them. What is important to me is to align well with you and your dogs needs, and adjust accordingly. I offer one long walk or one to two short walks per day.Home visits: From the centre of Utrecht I can reach most neighbourhoods with a breezy 10 min cycle. On a typical home visit, I would stay between 30 min to 1 hour, where I make sure your pet is in a clean environment, has enough to drink, give food if required, and take your dog(s) outisde to the toilet. Next to that I am happy to spend time playing with your pet, and check that the house is alright (mail, garbage, windows closed, etc.).House sitting: During a house sit I stay at your house while you are gone and make sure your house and your pet(s) are well taken care of. Next to the services of house visits, I would also take your dog(s) on a long walk or two shorter ones (depending on what we agree on). I will make sure your house is clean and not leave the pets alone for more than 3 hours - and of course send daily (photo) updates of your furry friend to you :-). Doggy daycare: I live in an apartment in the city centre where pets are more than welcome! Your dog will be free to move around in my flat, and I will make sure it is safe for them to do so (i.e. nothing to hurt them or that they could ingest). Next to feeding and playing with them, I will take your dog on walks as needed, either (multiple) shorter ones of 30 min or longer ones of 1-2 hours. I live with one roommate who is also happy to be around dogs, but their care will be fully in my hands. We have no pets of our own. Cats: Unfortunately I am slightly allergic to cats, which means that I can be around them for house visits and sitting, but cannot host them in my own apartment. Home dog boarding: Next to the services of doggy daycare, I will make sure your dog has a comfortable place to sleep where they feel safe. I will make sure that they are not left alone for more than 3 hours, and have enough to eat, drink, play - overall that they have a great time with me! I only board one dog or one "household" of 1-2 dogs at the same time, to make sure I have enough time and attention for them. Cats: Unfortunately I am slightly allergic to cats, which means that I can be around them for house visits and sitting, but cannot host them in my own apartment. Note on my own apartment: I live on the first floor, and the entry stairs are fairly steep - see the photo gallery. If your dog is small I am happy to carry them up and down, but if you have a larger dog they need to be able to walk up and down the stairs themselves.  I am currently doing a Master study in Sustainable Business & Innovation at the UU. Next to being passionate about dogs, I enjoy photography and filmmaking, drawing, sewing, and I am currently learning to rollerskate (it's a slow but steady progress). :-)  As a person, you will usually see me smiling from ear to ear. My name is Yiren, originally from China and I recently moved to Leidsche Rijn with my partner. I work freelance in event planning and graphic design, which means I have very flexible working hours and spend a lot of time at home. 
I really like animals and I’m patient and attentive with them. My experience so far is mainly with cat sitting. I always write down the owner’s requirements carefully and make sure to follow them as closely as possible, whether it’s feeding, playtime, daily habits, or special requirements. 
I’d love to help take care of your pet and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.
I also see pet sitting as a nice way to meet more furry friends and motivate myself to go outside more for walks and fresh air.

Hoi ik ben Maud :)
Ik ben 22 jaar en werk als verpleegkundige in de forensische psychiatrie.
Ik woon nu bijna een jaar op mezelf in een klein appartementje in Utrecht stad. En lijkt me enig om af en toe op te passen op een diertje of een rondje te wandelen met een lieve hond!
Ik vind met dieren omgaan geweldig, al van kinds af aan hebben wij (meerdere) huisdieren gehad dus ik ben er helemaal mee opgegroeid. We hebben onder andere konijnen, cavia's, vissen en katten gehad. Sinds ik kon praten heb ik elk jaar voor mijn verjaardag om een hond gevraagd maar jammer genoeg nooit gekregen :(
Gelukkig heb ik een super lieve buurvrouw die wel een hond had. Ze had een toller van pup tot 6 jaar, hierna is hij verhuist naar een boerderij. ik denk dat ik deze hond (Finn) vanaf groep 6 in de basisschool bijna elke dag heb uitgelaten totdat ik minder tijd kreeg op de middelbare school. Mijn buurvrouw was hier erg blij mee want ze liep moeilijk. Ook heb ik af en toe de hondjes uit van mijn stiefmoeder uit gelaten (die te zien zijn bij de foto's), dus ervaring met honden uitlaten heb ik wel!
In mijn jeugd hebben we vooral katten gehad, dus met katten kan ik ook wel raad!!

PS: Het kan zijn dat ik sommige dagen die ik als beschikbaar heb gemarkeerd wel moet werken, maar dat ik die als beschikbaar markeer omdat ik daarvoor of daarna wel wat zou kunnen betekenen. Voor een avonddienst ben ik tot 14:00 beschikbaar. Na een ochtenddienst ben ik vanaf 15:15 beschikbaar.
