Hi, thanks for checking my profile!  My name is Rebecca, and I absolutely love dogs. I grew up with dogs around me, and for the majority of my life had a dog of my own (a Golden Retriever called Lena). Originally from Switzerland, I moved to the Netherlands four years ago to study at University. Although I would love to have a dog of my own again, I don't have enough financial stability for that just yet - thus dog sitting is a great solution for me!  I feel super comfortable around all dogs, big or small, male or female. I am also okay with giving medicine if needed, and would love to try and teach some tricks if you want!  I offer dog walking, home visits, house sitting, doggy daycare, and home dog boarding... I am generally just happy to be around those four-legged energy bundles. Next to that, it's a great way to stay active :-) Below some more information on each service:  Dog walking: I live only a street away from the Catharijnesingel, where it is great to go on walks with dogs! Walking times would range from 30 min to 2 hours, depending on the needs of your dog. Depending on where you live, I am happy to take your dog on walks in their known environment, or explore new areas with them. What is important to me is to align well with you and your dogs needs, and adjust accordingly. I offer one long walk or one to two short walks per day.Home visits: From the centre of Utrecht I can reach most neighbourhoods with a breezy 10 min cycle. On a typical home visit, I would stay between 30 min to 1 hour, where I make sure your pet is in a clean environment, has enough to drink, give food if required, and take your dog(s) outisde to the toilet. Next to that I am happy to spend time playing with your pet, and check that the house is alright (mail, garbage, windows closed, etc.).House sitting: During a house sit I stay at your house while you are gone and make sure your house and your pet(s) are well taken care of. Next to the services of house visits, I would also take your dog(s) on a long walk or two shorter ones (depending on what we agree on). I will make sure your house is clean and not leave the pets alone for more than 3 hours - and of course send daily (photo) updates of your furry friend to you :-). Doggy daycare: I live in an apartment in the city centre where pets are more than welcome! Your dog will be free to move around in my flat, and I will make sure it is safe for them to do so (i.e. nothing to hurt them or that they could ingest). Next to feeding and playing with them, I will take your dog on walks as needed, either (multiple) shorter ones of 30 min or longer ones of 1-2 hours. I live with one roommate who is also happy to be around dogs, but their care will be fully in my hands. We have no pets of our own. Cats: Unfortunately I am slightly allergic to cats, which means that I can be around them for house visits and sitting, but cannot host them in my own apartment. Home dog boarding: Next to the services of doggy daycare, I will make sure your dog has a comfortable place to sleep where they feel safe. I will make sure that they are not left alone for more than 3 hours, and have enough to eat, drink, play - overall that they have a great time with me! I only board one dog or one "household" of 1-2 dogs at the same time, to make sure I have enough time and attention for them. Cats: Unfortunately I am slightly allergic to cats, which means that I can be around them for house visits and sitting, but cannot host them in my own apartment. Note on my own apartment: I live on the first floor, and the entry stairs are fairly steep - see the photo gallery. If your dog is small I am happy to carry them up and down, but if you have a larger dog they need to be able to walk up and down the stairs themselves.  I am currently doing a Master study in Sustainable Business & Innovation at the UU. Next to being passionate about dogs, I enjoy photography and filmmaking, drawing, sewing, and I am currently learning to rollerskate (it's a slow but steady progress). :-)  As a person, you will usually see me smiling from ear to ear. Over mijIk ben Tanne, ben 27 jaar en woon in het hartje van Utrecht. Ik heb Creative Business gestudeerd en tegenwoordig werk ik als freelance fotograaf/webdesigner voor diverse (beginnende) ondernemers. Daarnaast werk ik op camping De ReCreatie, een creatieve bloeiplaats waar ik met veel plezier in mijn eigen (retro Tabbert) caravan in het bos woon. Van maart t/m eind oktober ben ik daarom voornamelijk in Leusden te vinden. Van november t/m maart ben ik weer in Utrecht. Ik heb een auto, dus ben altijd flexibel qua locatie! 
Ik ben rustig, zorgzaam en vind niet snel iets te gek. Ik neem graag alle tijd en heb veel geduld, wat er vaak toe leidt dat dieren mij snel vertrouwen en ik geen grens over ga. Ook heb ik ervaring in het passen op huisdieren voor een langere termijn (inc op het huis passen), dagbezoeken, honden uitlaten en het zorgen voor een ziek huisdier en/of toedienen van medicijnen. Ik luister graag naar jouw wensen en de wensen van je vrolijke viervoeter! Het belangrijkste is denk ik dat ik vooral heel blij word van alle soorten dieren (voornamelijk katten) en ik graag een helpende hand bied voor zowel baasje als huisdier. 
Ik ben een kat- en hondenliefhebber in hart en nieren. Ik ben opgegroeid met de gezelligheid van drie poezen om mij heen. Vanaf het moment dat ik mezelf ging wonen, inmiddels al bijna 10 jaar geleden, zijn het de poezen die ik het het meest mis. Tot grote frustratie van mijn vrienden, want dit heeft ertoe geleid dat ik ongeveer elke kat op straat zie en het liefst aanhaal. Ben je me kwijt? Dan zit ik waarschijnlijk ergens een kat (of hond) te aaien. Daarnaast word ik vaak door vrienden en bekenden gevraagd om voor hun kat te zorgen, soms pas ik tegelijkertijd op hun huis en planten. 
Waarom Pawshake?Het liefst heb ik natuurlijk zelf een kat en/of hond, maar door het wonen in studentenhuizen en later een studio in het centrum van Utrecht heb ik nooit de mogelijkheid gezien om een kat te adopteren. Tot er twee jaar geleden een straatkat bij mij binnen kwam lopen en heeft gekozen om te blijven. We hebben hele avonturen beleefd samen; ze liep met me mee als ik boodschappen ging doen, zelfs op mijn werk kwam ze regelmatig langs en lag ze languit in de lobby van het hotel waar ik aan het werk was. Ze was een graag geziene gast! Tot ze helaas een tumor kreeg en ik uiteindelijk heb moeten besluiten om haar in te laten slapen. Vanwege mijn huidige woonsituatie zie ik het niet zitten om een nieuwe poes te adopteren, maar ik mis het ontzettend om dieren om mij heen te hebben. Daarom geef ik mijn liefde heel graag door aan jouw huisdier! 
Diensten en beschikbaarheidAls freelancer leid ik een flexibel bestaan en ben ik vooral in de periode november t/m februari veel beschikbaar, de tijden maken hierin niet veel uit. Ik bied de volgende diensten aan: 
- huisbezoek/huisoppas: eten/drinken geven, kattenbak verschonen, borstelen, medicatie toedienen indien nodig en natuurlijk vooral veel aandacht, knuffelen/spelen. Ik vind het geen probleem om kleine huishoudelijke werkzaamheden te verrichten zoals planten water geven, post verzamelen, stofzuigen etc. Een huisbezoek duurt tussen de 30 a 60 minuten, afhankelijk van de situatie. Omdat ik freelancer ben, ben ik ook beschikbaar om langer op locatie te blijven (en dus ook als huisoppas/logee). Als ik geen afspraken buiten de deur heb, zal ik nooit langer dan een half uur/uur van huis zijn en ook alle tijd en aandacht hebben voor je huisdier. 
- honden uitlaten: ik ken Utrecht op m'n duimpje en zoek graag de mooie parken en/of de singel op. Het is mogelijk om meerdere kortere wandelingen (ong 20/30 min) te maken of juist een wat langere (45+ min). Ik heb minder ervaring met honden, dus ik heb (nog) weinig kennis over honden/puppy training. Ook heb ik een auto tot mijn beschikking en rijd ik met liefde richting één van de parken of bossen in de omgeving. 
Alles wat ik doe, doe ik met rust en aandacht. Daarom ben ik ook geschikt voor wat schuwere/angstige huisdieren.

Hi! I'm Fran, 31 years old dog lover. I've been living with dogs my whole life and from 2019, I started walking dogs in Utrecht. I started taking care of a friend's dog in my house every now and then and this summer I accepted to take care of my first "unknown" dog (besides just walking). I love dogs, taking care of them and treating them like my own. I like taking them out on a run, cuddling them and making them feel at home.Besides the friendlier dogs, I have experience with walking bigger, heavier dogs and also dogs that do not do well with other animals around (I pay extra attention to the surroundings with those). At home, since I live in an apartment, I prefer taking smaller/medium-small sized dogs. Don't worry, though, I'll take them on many walks :) my preference is also dogs that are well-trained inside, so it won't bother the neighbors.Please tell me all the info you can about your pet: how they behave with people, other dogs, inside the house. Little details that you're used to but might be significant for me. That way I can adapt myself the best to make your pet feel the most comfortable around me! Because I'm currently a student, I have a lot of free time to spend around your pet, so I'm quite flexible about it.

Bij bezoek laten ze zich niet zien&nbsp; ze houden niet van mensen Maar zodra visite weg is komen ze tevoorschein Ze slapen bij me Als ik ziek ben moe of verdrietig wijken ze nietvam mijn zeide.Ze brengen liefde vreugde .Toen ik zelf tig jaar terug op vacantie ging Kreeg ik dagelijks foto s en filmpjes van mijn katten Dat ze me misten werd duidelijk toen ik thuis kwam mij&nbsp; bed was gebruikt als wc Geen probleem Ik was niet boos Begreep hun gedrag .&nbsp;Mijn liefde voor dieren gaat verder dan die voor mensen. Zo heb ik mijn eigen kippen. Ik ben verpleegkundige in de nachtdienst en tevens eigenaar van de weggeef winkel in zeist. Ik omschrijf mijzelf als behulpzaam en zorgzaam . In de vrije tijd die ik over heb ben ik heel graag bezig met mijn tuin en mijn dieren. Ik pas altijd op bij mijn beste maatje met 2 katten en 2 kanaries&nbsp; ook deze beestjes vullen mij aan.&nbsp;Naast dat ik zeer zorgzaam ben voor verschillende dieren beschik ik ook over wat kennis mbt plantjes en tuinen. Mocht u op vakantie gaan of een weekendje weg dan ben ik zeker bereid on o.a. planten en dergelijke te verzorgen.&nbsp;Dagen en tijden kan allemaal besproken worden. Een huisbezoek zal zeker niet maar 10 min duren. Ik trek serieus tijd uit om zeker te weten dat het diertje op zijn/haar gemak is, voldoende aandacht te geven..Het lijkt mij heel fijn om dan een kennismaking in te plannen. Daarmee hoop ik een vertrouwd en veilig gevoel achter te laten.&nbsp; Ik ben vrijwel de hele dag door beschikbaar.

My name is Michela and I moved here from Italy in September. I have had cats all of my life, right now I have two little beasts in Italy, that are being spoiled by my parents! I love these animals with all of me and I wish I had one here right now! I can't have cats in my new apartament, at least for now, and I am in need of some cat's love!
My background in taking care of cats or playing with them is: 
I have had, as I said before, cats all my life so I am used to feeding them, cleaning after them, brushing them and also playing with them! I also used to take care of my neighbors' cats when they were on vacation. 
Other than that, I did volunteer work in a shelter for 2 years when I was younger. I can give oral medication and liquid drops with no problems! I sometimes also helped taking care of the dogs of my friends and my boss used to have a black Labrador in my previous work space!

Mijn naam is Marloes en ik ben een 36-jarige betrouwbare dierenliefhebber. mijn grootste wens om dierenarts te worden is helaas niet uitgekomen maar ik omring me het liefst de hele dag met dierenliefde 🫶🏻 als ik mag oppassen staat mijn tijd in het teken van een leuke en speelse tijd voor uw dier, het moeilijkste zal zijn om weer afscheid te nemen na een leuke wandeling of uitgebreide knuffelsessie. Ik kom liever niet alleen om eten te geven, ik geloof heilig in aandacht geven voor het dier dat ik mag verzorgen. Ik heb geen 9 tot 17 mentaliteit en blijf liever iets langer als ik merk dat een dier daar behoefte aan heeft  in mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag in de natuur! Ik zou graag oppas zijn omdat ik mijn vrije tijd graag nuttig besteed en wat is er nou mooier dan het leven van een dier op te vrolijken in afwezigheid van het baasje. Ik heb vaak de katten van familie en vrienden in huis wanneer zij op vakantie zijn of verzorg die dieren dan in het huis waar ze wonen. Ervaring is dus ruim aanwezig 
Ik woon samen met mijn kat Barrie die gewend is aan andere dieren. Het is altijd even aftasten maar meestal eindig ik met Barrie en een ander dier aan de andere kant op het bed. Ik woon heel dichtbij het park en de Amelisweerd. Zelf loop ik elke dag minimaal 10.000 stappen (los van mijn hardlopen) dus ik heb alle energie en tijd om lekker de Amelisweerd te ontdekken met jouw hond!
