"We had such a wonderful experience with Anna. She is incredibly sweet, caring, and dedicated, and it was clear from the beginning how much she genuinely loves animals. I had complete peace of mind knowing Ollie was in her care - I just knew he would be happy, well looked after, and get all the attention and affection he needed. ❤️
She was attentive, thoughtful, and treated Ollie as if he were her own. Highly recommend!

"Vinci stayed with Heather and James while we were on holiday, and from the moment I first met them, I had a good feeling. They were both so warm and friendly, and I felt comfortable leaving Vinci in their care.
Heather sent us lovely pictures and updates throughout our holiday. What struck me most was how comfortable Vinci looked with them. I know my dog, and I could see that she really trusted them.
Vinci is an older lady with her own little habits and personality, and Heather and James clearly understood her. They gave her lots of attention, took her on lovely walks and made her feel at ease.
What also made a difference was the personal contact with Heather. She's warm, thoughtful and easy to communicate with.
I'm very grateful that Vinci got to stay with them, and I would happily recommend Heather and James to anyone looking for someone to take care of their dog."

"We needed a last minute dog sitter for our very high energy dog, Jay. Anna and Artem provided such wonderful care of Jay and adapted to his needs. We were able to rest easy knowing he was well cared for, and they were enjoying their time with him, too! We will happily be using them again in the future! Thank you again for everything! "

"Exceptional! We are so happy with the way Fernanda took care of our dog Leo. She came from Amsterdam all the way to Haarlem to pick up and drop off our dog which was huge help. Had a quick intro talk with her to go over our dog's needs and she took care of everything. She took care of our dog for three weeks and I was not worried once. Every day she would send me an update message with pictures and videos and in all of them our dog looked like he was having the best days of his life. Lots of fun, walks, etc. Fernanda went above an beyond and also gave our dog a shower and even washed his bed before returning him to us. So happy with her services and will only go to her with dog boarding requests in the future. Thank you Fernanda"

"My cat has an amazing stay at Nuno's place. I was anxious initially as it was the first time for my cat to stay in another place, but darcy felt at home quickly at Nuno place and got along with the other cat there. Nuno is a super cat sister, and I highly recommend him. Thank you, Nuno and Carolina, for everything."LReview by liza

"Onze eerste ervaring met Tina was super. Onze 7-jaar oude vizsla heeft een week bij haar gelogeerd en leek erg tevreden. Communicatie met Tina ging heel makkelijk. Ze stuurde regelmatig updates en foto's. Ze heeft onze hond vaak meegenomen naar het park, en ook het Amsterdamse Bos. Zeker een aanrader, en voor ons een goed adres als we weer een plek voor onze hond zoeken. "

"Our cat stayed with Maggie & Kevin for 1.5 weeks, and we couldn’t have wished for better sitters. We received daily updates and photos showing a happy, relaxed fluff, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Communication was always quick, clear, and very friendly. We’re truly grateful for the care they gave and would be delighted to have our cat stay with them again in the future."

"I was nothing but happy with the treatment Teddy has from Betul, her partner and both pets. I already knew the experience would be great by the way they treat their own pets, with a lot of care, love and respect for the animals. I was very afraid of having my dog with a big male, since mine is male and not neutered, but their dog is very confident, and Betil really acts as a “leader in the pack”.
When I picked up Teddy, he seemed a bit sad to leave his temporary pack, looking back, looking for Betil, her partner and Roman, their dog, that’s tells me e erything went right from the beginning until the end, and I’m very happy to say my experience with them was one of the best in the platform. It’ll be my first call if I need to have somebody sitting Teddy 🫶🏻"

"We are super grateful to Karen for taking such good care of our cat Winston. Normally we would have someone come to our place while we are away to care for our cat but this time had to relocate him. Karen was the perfect host, helping Winston settle in to her place. He can be a nervous cat so Karen’s extra TLC was well appreciated. We got regular updates and were so pleased to have found such a great sitter while we were away."

Why dog boarding ?
For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Amsterdam for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Amsterdam Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.
Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.
Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Amsterdam sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!
Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.
