I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats and also spent time living on a farm, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Being around animals from a young age has made me very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs.

Now that I work in a corporate role, spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy and value. I love being able to give pets the attention, companionship, and routine they’re used to while their owners are away.

I’m a responsible, calm, and caring person with many years of experience looking after both my own pets and those of others. I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel confident that their pets are in safe and reliable hands.

Most recently, I cared for my parents’ elderly chihuahua, making sure he received his daily medication, plenty of attention, and gentle walks at a comfortable pace. I have also worked as a live-in pet sitter for a colleague during an internship abroad, where I looked after two cats and a large dog for six months. This included feeding, walks, playtime, maintaining their routines, and making sure they felt relaxed and comfortable in their home environment.

I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex close to Klarenbeek Park, which is perfect for safe and enjoyable walks. The area offers plenty of green space for dogs to explore while staying in a calm neighbourhood environment.

When caring for pets, I’m attentive to their individual needs and personalities. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply quiet company, I’m happy to adapt. I’m also very respectful of owners’ instructions and routines, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away

Ik ben Italiaans, sinds 8 jaar in Nederland. Ik werk zelfstandig vanaf huis en heb daarom veel vrije tijd om met mijn hondje op pad te gaan of in de tuin te spelen. Af en toe pas ik op honden van vrienden, wat altijd een feest is.
Mijn eigen hond, Bagel, is een speels en onderdanig beagle van 4. Hij kan heel goed om met alle honden en vindt het leuk om een speelkameraad te hebben.
Ik ben beschikbaar om af en toe op een (kleine/middelgrote) hond te passen. Omdat ik voor mijn werk regelmatig reis, kan ik helaas geen vaste dag per week aanbieden. Wel kan ik als reserveadres fungeren, omdat ik ook op korte termijn een dagje kan inspringen. Weekenden en logeren zijn in overleg ook mogelijk.
Ben je op zoek naar een adres waar je hond veel aandacht, knuffels en speeltijd krijgt, stuur me gerust een berichtje. Dan kunnen wij zien of onze hondjes een match zijn.

I’m Italian and have been living in the Netherlands for 8 years. I work from home as a freelancer, which means I have plenty of free time to go on walks with my dog or play in the garden. Every now and then we look after a friend's dog as well, which is always a lot of fun.
My own dog, Bagel, is a playful and submissive 3-year-old beagle. He gets along very well with all dogs and loves having a playmate around.
I’m available to occasionally look after a small/medium-sized dog. Because of my work, I can’t offer to be a fixed petsitter every week, but I'm happy to be your backup in case you need someone last minute :)  Weekends and overnight stays are possible upon discussion.

Hi! Ik ben Jitske en samen met mijn hond Fiep (helaas eind 2024 overleden) reisde en woonde ik over de hele wereld. De laatste keer dat we terug kwamen voor een bezoekje naar Nederland, werd dit bezoekje steeds langer en langer tot dat we besloten in Nederland te blijven. Ondertussen gesetteld in Nijmegen en waar ik nog steeds vaak naar het buitenland ga is dit voor korte periodes en kom ik altijd weer teug naar mn basis in Nijmegen.&nbsp;
Ik heb recentelijk een nieuwe pup geadopteerd, Pippa!:) ze is ontzettend lief en leuk en houdt ervan om met andere honden te spelen. Ik heb samen met Pippa al wel wat andere honden uitgelaten, en bij vrienden met honden op bezoek geweest, alleen nog niet voor meerdere dagen opgepast, maar ik denk dus wel dat dat goed gaat. 
Ik ben helaas allergisch voor katten.Ik kan kleinere honden bij mijn thuis opvangen, mits ze niet veel blaffen (ik woon in een appartement dus teveel geblaf wordt niet gewaardeerd bij de buren) ik heb 1 groot balkon achter en een klein balkonnetje voor en woon erg dicht bij het Kronenburgerpark (het stadspark). Ik zie het ook zitten om voor meerdere dagen bij de baasjes thuis op te passen. Het enige wat daarbij belangrijk is is dat ik goed internet heb, vanwege het thuiswerken, maar verder betekent dat ook dat ik de hele dag beschikbaar ben voor knuffelen en wandelingen. Daarnaast zal ik ervoor zorgen dat het huis schoner is dan dat je vertrok en dat je hond alle liefde van mij zal ontvangen. Zie ook de reviews op deze pagina en ik kan eventueel ook nog andere reviews of references aanleveren.&nbsp;
De hond(en) zal 3 keer per dag worden uitgelaten (minstens een half uur) en savonds voor het slapen gaan nog een keer naar buiten voor een plas. Ik houd goed rekening met alle wensen dus het is belangrijk aan te geven wat deze zijn en ik zal me daar aan houden. Ook wat betreft snacks voor de hond, regels en eten. Ik zal volgen wat de baas van de hond mij doorgeeft en hier hetzelfde mee omgaan.&nbsp;
(Voor de uitlaat service/ 1 bezoek per dag kan dit alleen voor honden in Nijmegen rondom het centrum aangezien ik geen fiets heb.
Ik ben van kleins af aan al dol op dieren, en liet altijd al honden uit in de buurt, verzorgde de konijnen en zelfs schaapjes. Daarnaast heb ik gedurende mijn hele leven en tijdens mijn reizen al vaak op huizen en huizen met dieren gepast, dit is altijd erg goed ontvangen.&nbsp;

My story: 
I always lived in the middle of pets in the Countryside. I have two dogs in France (Josh, a cuddling big Australian Shepherd &amp; Mae, a super active, needy brown dog. See pics). I always loved playing and hiking with them in the mountains. My sister also has a huskie (independent who loves kisses, as seen in the pictures). I cared for her when she was at work: walking, bath, training...I have been dog-sitting in England for almost two years now: dogs with social anxiety, excited puppies, untrained dogs, sick dogs, old dogs, ect... And it was one of the best decisions I have made last year!At home, our pets are part of the family; they can be hard to train, but it is all worth it! I miss them so much, so I have time and love to give out, and I would love to make your life easier by caring for your pets. Pets need company and feel lonely when left alone as much as young children.I also love running, so I can make them run so they are calmer when they return home. I used to have rabbits, guineas, chickens and a turtle &amp; I have a horse in France so I can take care of those pets too.
