Hello, my name is Zoe and I live together with my pug, Thytan.In 2015, I moved to Groningen to attend the university and brought Thytan with me. Next to English, I also speak Dutch, Spanish and my native language, Papiamento. The reason I've decided to join Pawshake is that, next to having to look for sitters sometimes myself, I very much enjoy meeting and spending time with other pets.My experience with pets comes from having owning dogs since I was 14. While I've never had cats myself, I have friends who do and find them to be lovely. Because of Pawshake, I've also had the opportunity to look after cats and enjoyed the time I spent with them. Additionally, I am very open to looking after other pets, if clear instructions are given.Since moving to Groningen, I've lived alone with Thytan and from that, I've learned how to be dedicated, responsible and patient. Hello there! I'm a 22-year-old German girl currently pursuing my studies here in The Netherlands. Let me share why I'm so passionate about being a pet sitteer:&nbsp;
I absolutely adore animals, and they hold a special place in my heart. Growing up, I was lucky to have cats, dogs, and even enjoyed horseback riding. However, since I'm a student now, I couldn't bring my beloved pets from my parents' home, and I've been missing their joyful presence tremendously. That's why I'm eager to be a pet sitter, to fill that furry void in my life and yours! I have hands-on experience caring for a diverse range of animals. During my year abroad, I took care of my host family's incredible menagerie, which included cats, dogs, chickens, sheep, horses, and even cows when they were away on weekends. It was an adventure I cherished.
My range of services includes everything from caring for your animals and providing regular check-ups to offering them a cozy home environment in my shared flat located  on the outskirts of town, surrounded by nature. While my two roomates are incredibly pet-friendly, they won't be directly responsible for or have exclusive interaction with your pet during their stay.

My name is Miley, I'm from Brazil and currently living here. I used to have a Guinea pig when I was living in Brazil, unfortunately he passed away. But I still miss him so much. Also had dogs and birds in my childhood. I love pets and I have free time, so it would be a great opportunity for me to do something I enjoy helping other pet owners. 
In Brazil my best friend is a veterinarian, so I could learn a lot. 
Patience is one of my qualities and you can be sure that your pet will be in good hands. It will also be a great experience for me to get to know the city better and take care of your pet with a lot of love is a perfect combo. I am also very committed, organized and proactive.
Information about the service I offer:

Walk with the dog (about 30 minutes to 1 hour walk). About 4/5 times a day
Keeping the same dog routine.
Playing with the dog or cat.
Feeding your pet.

I'm Leonie, 22 years old and from Germany. 
I do understand Dutch but am limited in my speaking skills. 
I'm studying psychology and as it's a full time studies, I'm studying a lot and am in class a lot. For that reason I want to get a balance in my life which I want to combine with dogs and going on a walk. I have always been in love with the nature and gods and wouldn't mind going with dogs for a long walk. I am an animal lover, in particular dogs. They show and feel emotions which is a comforting zone for me, personally. 
I live right at the Noorderplantsoen togehter with my boyfriend who has had a dog for his entire life. Started off with a German shepherd and now a Labrador (look at the last picture), but as every dutch citizen I do have a bike too so I would be able to get to places a little further. As I have already lived in Groningen for more than two years, I am quite familiar with this cute city and know good places on where to take the dog. 
I haven't had a dog myself but I walked and spent time with dogs of my friends and family (as seen in the attached photos) therefore I know what to look out for and how to take care of them. 
Preferably, I cant take your dog at my place because my landlord has his strict rules about that place. Generally, I don't mind whether the dog is vaccinated or not. 

I am a physiotherapy student in Groningen and have some free time. Therefore, I would love to fill my time taking care of and making many furry friends.
I am very sporty and active (football, baseball and surfing) and love animals. I always have tons of energy and enjoy going for walks and playing with animals. I have 2 dogs and a cat back home (in South Africa) and I always enjoyed walking with them on the beach, in forests and in the mountains.
Dogs
Concerning dogs, I am available and happy to go on long/short walks with them (you may say how long they should/usually walk) and take care of him/her at your home. I am also willing to pay visit of minimum one hour to feed, play with and give some cuddles. I would be good with brushing him/her and cleaning their beds too.
Cats
Concerning cats, I am available and happy to care of them at your home. I am also willing to pay visit of minimum one hour to feed, play with and give some cuddles. I don't mind cleaning out the little box, brushing your furry friends and cleaning their beds.
I volunteered at an animal shelter in Cape Town for 3 months last year where I walked, fed, groomed and played with dogs of many different breeds. I also fed, played with and took care of kittens.

I am a big dog lover and have always had a special bond with animals. Back home, I have two tiny Pomeranians who are like family to me. I love spending time with them, whether it's playing, going for walks, or teaching them new tricks. They've been my loyal companions through some challenging times, and I can't imagine life without them. My younger brother owns a pet grooming shop, so I often visit him and enjoy playing with the different dogs there.

Now I am studying in Groningen for my master. I have plenty of experience with small dogs and feel most comfortable dog sitting for smaller breeds. If you're going to be away for an extended period or if you need to work on the weekdays, I can take your dogs for walk. I can promise to give them all the love and attention they need while you're away. I currently live in a studio so I can't that have dogs staying here overnight.
