Top cities for doggy day care in The Netherlands

For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Beek en Donk for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Beek en Donk Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Beek en Donk sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hallo,

Hi! I’m Joana, and I work as mechanical engineer living in Eindhoven. While my professional background is in engineering, animals have always been my true passion.

Since childhood I always loved animals, and grew up with both dogs and cats. However, my first pet was a free-roaming rabbit named Maria who slept in my room and acted more like a dog than a bunny. I grew up in Portugal, where I became deeply involved in animal rescue in my hometown, where unfortunately there are a lot of stray animals. I fostered my first cat at 15 (it took a lot of convincing my parents!), and since then, I’ve cared for over 30 foster cats, many of them neonates or sick rescues, including pregnant cats that I've assisted during birth. Because of all of this, I am well versed in dealing with most cat illnesses, and I have a special needs cat myself :)

I also worked closely with the local shelter in Portugal, supporting TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs, walking shelter dogs, and socializing shy or traumatized animals.

Unfortnately, after moving to the Netherlands, I couldn't foster anymore, since I live in an apartment that doesn't allow that, but I do have 3 furr babies that I love more than words can express. However, I still volunteer at the shelter (ROZE) every Sunday where I clean the cat spaces, check health, and help socialize “spicy” cats and kittens.

I know from experience how hard it can be to leave your pet at home while you're on holidays and how difficult it can be to find a trustworthy sitter for your pet. I truly think of pets as family members and treat them as such, so you can expect a lot of dedication from my side, and the comfort of knowing that your pet is in safe hands.

I provide home visits, dog walks, and overnight stays depending on your needs. I'm especially comfortable with shy, senior, or special-needs animals, and I always treat pets with love, patience, and respect. I speak fluent English and Portuguese, so you can expect as many updates as you want while you are away.

Let me know how I can help care for your furry family member!

Hello! Nice to see you here
We came from very far away and have been living in the Netherlands for more than one year.
Lais is an engineering who works from home and has a very flexible schedule that allows to take good care of the dogs the entire day.
Lolita is a 6y old Maltese, very friendly, joyful and who loves to play with other dogs.
Linky is a 7y old Toiger cat, very calm and friendly with dogs.
We would love to have the company of your pet in our house. Our family is open and willing to have others joining, even if only for some days :)
We only welcome vaccinated pets into our house to ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, we'd love to help!
Feel free to reach out with any questions.

I moved from Brazil to the Netherlands with my husband in 2022. In 2023, I started freelancing as a videographer and creative designer, turning my passion for creativity and digital media into a career.
A big part of my job involves editing on my computer so I'm mostly working from home.
My husband and I looooove cats and dogs and caring for them will bring us a lot of joy! If you're going on a trip and need someone to take care of your pet(s), we're here for you!We live in our own house with a cozy and fenced garden (you can see pictures in the gallery). Cats will never be allowed outside (unless they are used to being on a leash), due to the risk of leaving the house and getting lost and I would never risk their safety. We'll walk dogs 2-3 times a day (in the morning and afternoon/evening).
I only take one pet owner per boarding, meaning I only board 1 pet at a time, unless it is a boarding for pets from the same household. I've boarded 2 cats at once before, they were siblings (had the same pet owner). I've also boarded 2 dogs at once, they were also siblings (you can see pictures of them playing together in the gallery ) . We live in close proximity to the Mierlo forest for pleasant walks. I'm also passionate about photography so I will keep you updated through candid and cute pictures of your friend.Trial boarding: If you'd like to test if your pet will be comfortable with us, we recommend booking a trial boarding (1 night booking), so we can see how it goes. You drop them off in the morning and pick them up the next day. We'll give you updates and let you know if we believe we are a good match for a longer stay.
Hope to be of help soon!

In my hometown, I lived with many animals such as our family dog, cats that we were feeding and other farm animals. So I have a deep connection with every one of them. I would like to take care of new cats and dogs and be friends with them :)
I had dogs and cats in my hometown and additionally, my wife has personal experience as a dog owner. She raised her golden retriever from a puppy until he turned two years old, and he remains a beloved member of my family.
For the safety of all pets, I can only accept vaccinated animals into my home. I’d be honored to look after your furry friend and treat them as if they were my own. Let’s discuss how I can help!
I can provide service in my home. We live in the house with garden or I can also visit your home. I understand how important your pet is to you, and I will ensure they feel loved, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. From walks and playtime to providing them with a safe environment, I am here to meet your pet’s unique needs.
I and my wife are both engineers, and live at Son. My wife and I are both animal lovers and excited to have new friends. Please contact with us if you would like us to help you and your little friends.

Beste hondenbezitter,
Hoi, mijn naam is Thijs!

Hey all, my name is Anna and I grew up around 5 dogs and 5 cats. My mom brings home rescues, and I have volunteered in a dog and cat shelter as well.
Since I have a place of my own I adopted my own pets because I can't imagine my life without animals.
I live together with 7 year old ragdoll Homer and 8 year old Maine coon Amr/Dusty:) we also have a lovebird Loki and live happily together. It has been my dream to start pet sitting, animals bring me so much joy. Finally, I am making my dream come true.
I can read cat/dog/parrot body languages and understand their communication and I respect their boundaries. I have a very calm personality and animals feel it, we get along with them quite well.
I can also take care of your sick/special needs pets. as well as kittens and puppies.
Let me know if you have any questions or special requests, we can discuss it further.
Looking forward to hearing from you and many thanks!

Hi!I’m ShaAf, a master’s student in architecture at TU/e, and someone who deeply misses her three beloved cats—Theodore, Tilla, and Coca—who currently live with my parents back home in Iran.I’ve always felt that animals, especially cats, are emotional healers. They bring peace, connection, and grounding energy that’s so important in daily life. Since my own pets aren’t here with me, I would be so happy to share my time and care with your pets in Eindhoven.I’m experienced with both cats and dogs, and I approach each animal with calmness, warmth, and attention. I’m responsible, observant (thanks to my design background!), and happy to follow your pet’s exact routine. Whether it’s a cozy cat visit, a walk in the park, or an overnight stay, I will make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you're away.I'll also send photo updates to keep you close to your pet. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and bring some joy to both of our days!
