I moved to Holland in 2016 and I have been completing my studies ever since. I have done a bachelor, a masters and I am now completing my second masters. 

I have had a PawShake account before, and here I met a lot of your cute dogs. Then my studies stopped me from continuing unfortunately. 

I am away from home and away from my own dog. And therefore I decided to get back on the app. I miss her a lot and I miss spending time with dogs. Mostly I just would like to get some love from your dogs and give it back. I of course would also like to help the dog parents out there because I myself know the struggle of finding someone your trust to look after your fluffy other half. 

I had dogs all my life and I believe they are the best thing in the world. Purest form of love, that I would just like to experience every not and then since I don't have my own. I also have a great group of friends who love dogs and they are willing to help out whenever I can't.

I am passionate about animals and have always enjoyed spending time with them. Growing up, I had the joy of caring for our Chihuahua and my Grandpa's German Shepherd. My services: 
My services include pet walking, daytime pet sitting, and even overnight stays to ensure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I understand the importance of trust and reliability in pet care, which is why I only accept vaccinated pets into my home to maintain a safe and healthy environment. While I am not trained to provide grooming or formal training, I can administer medication as long as the owner has thoroughly explained when, how and what medication to give. However, I am not able to handle medication that require injections.
In terms of boarding, I typically board one dog at a time to ensure they get my full attention. However, if the dogs are from the same owner, I can board up to two dogs at the same time.
For dog walks, I am flexible and can do walks ranging from 15 minutes to couple of hours, depending on your dog's needs. My usual walks are between 30 minutes to an hour. I can also offer multiple walks per day, with a preferred maximum of 3 walks, depending on my schedule. Feel free to discuss your pet's specific needs with me!
My availability:
I am currently a university student with a flexible schedule. I only have 4 in-class courses per week, each lasting 3 hours. This means I'm available to spend with pets whenever I don't have a class or exams. I can study from home, so during dog boarding or daycare, I can ensure your pets are well-supervised for most of the day. 
While I can't provide 24/7 supervision due to my classes, I am dedicated to spending as much time with your pets as possible, fitting pet care into my routine when I'm home. On weekends I am free and thus available for the whole day, depending on my schedule. Feel free to reach out about my availability for specific dates, and I'll do my best to accommodate your pet's needs! 
My home situation:
I live in a pretty spacious apartment with two roommates; my sister and our good friend. We will make sure that pets feel welcome and comfortable in our home. Guest pets are allowed to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, whether that is my room, the living room, or the hallway. 
While we don't have a private backyard, we live in a calm neighbourhood with a large grassy area right next to our building, perfect for playtime and walks. Although it's not fenced, it's a peaceful spot where pets can enjoy outdoor time while supervised. There are also parks nearby for longer walks.

As an experienced pet owner, I offer a range of pet care services tailored to meet your pet’s specific needs. I provide daily walks (30–45 minutes each) and offer 2-3 walks per day depending on your pet’s energy level. I am also comfortable administering medication, including for pets with special medical needs. With extensive experience training my own dogs, I can offer basic obedience training during their stay. As someone who loves animals, becoming a pet sitter is more than just a job for me. It's a passion. I have a lot of experience with animals as I used to be a dog owner myself, and since I was a kid I've spent a lot of time around dogs and other animals. For example, I used to walk my grandpa's German Shepherd since I was 8 years old. Since 2019, I have been dog sitting two different dogs in Brussels. I also have experience with cats as many of my friends own cats. Additionally, I used to volunteer at a farm in Brussels from 2018 until 2021. I'm currently pursuing my PhD at Leiden University. I'm so lucky to be able to work from home, which gives me plenty of time to care for my adorable dogs. I have a gorgeous female Maltese called Chilli, and I'd love to welcome small dogs of a similar size so they can play together.
Environment
I live in a quiet, small (The size of my apartment is 45 square meters, so I only accept small dogs ) and comfortable apartment in the Leiden Bio Science Park, which is an excellent environment for dogs.&nbsp;
There's a large lawn downstairs, which is perfect for dog walks. It's a lovely animal-friendly community with loads of natural space.
Service
I only accept small dogs (under 10kg).
I only accept neutered and fully vaccinated dogs.
I perfer to accept dog boarding for 5 days or more.
I offer 24-hour pet boarding, not just during the day. However, I do not have a car, so I cannot provide dog pick-up and drop-off services. You can bring and pick your pet to our neighbourhood or Leiden Central Station.
