Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Vijfhuizen who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Vijfhuizen neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Vijfhuizen dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Hi, I am Ahsen! I’ve always loved being around animals, even though I don’t have a pet of my own at the moment. I often take care of my friends’ cats and dogs whenever I get the chance. Spending time with them really makes me happy, and I know how much comfort and joy they bring into our lives.

For me, pet sitting isn’t just about feeding or walking them, it’s about making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality - whether that means playtime, going for a walk, or just sitting together and keeping them company.

I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’d love the chance to give your pet the same care and attention I would give my own.

I am happy to take care of your dog for day care or overnight. I can also provide dog walking or home visits.

Each dog is unique, and each one has something to teach us. When I was in high school, we had an Alabay dog called Rochelle. She was calm and lazy, but had a good heart and never bit or barked at us. Despite her 70-kilo frame and menacing face, she was afraid of anything bigger than a Chihuahua. Now my wife and I have a cute little Labradoodle named Perzik, who is the bravest dog I know, zooming around, making friends with furry giants and chasing the most stubborn cats away. I have a lot of experience with my two dogs, but it's still not much. This is why my motivation to become a dog sitter is to get to know other peoples' dogs, learn from them, and use this to bring up my own puppy. And I believe that the best way to learn is to play and explore.I've had a lot of cats throughout my childhood too, and we have two cats that we left with our parents - boy Marsik and girl Nuytka. Both rescues and both very affectionate, just angels. A couple years ago we took care of two sweet kittens for three weeks, they were a blast. Last summer I house sat two older cats for a month. It was definitely different than dogs - you have to take care of them from a distance, not to be too intrusive, but give them affection when they ask for it. It was really nice to chill out with them on the couch or play in the backyard.
A little bit about my dog: at 11 months, he has a fixed routine, listens to us wery well at home (not so well outside :), knows a lot of tricks - from "come" and "paw" to "roll around", "play dead" and "middle". We are learning to not pull the leash and not to be distracted outside. It's a slow process, but we are having a lot of progress already. He is not very motivated by food, which is challenging, so we had to learn a few tricks ourselves, just to keep his attention on us. He loves playing with other dogs, and is always very friendly to humans and dogs alike.

Ervaren oppas voor honden, katten en meer
Hoi! Over mezelf
Beschikbaarheid
Stuur me gerust een berichtje. Ik denk graag mee. Dinsdag/donderdag avond kan ik niet. Zaterdagen ook niet. Dan speel ik wedstrijden.
Medicijnen?

Hi there! I'm Kara from Indonesia, I live in Zwanenburg and I love dogs (goes without saying!) Sadly due to personal circumstances I cant have my own dog but I have tons of love to give so would love to offer my service to walk your dog in Zwanenburg area; I can do 30-60 mins walk with your lovely dog. I can also come by your place to feed and play with your dog for a couple of hours during the day. I work from home and my meetings are usually in late afternoons and so I have my mornings and middays generally free.
In terms of experience, I usually dogsit for friends and I grew up with dogs back home. I often dogsit rescue dogs too so I understand how to deal and provide love for rescues. I also have experience with reactive dog on leash.
I hope I can give love and help to dogs and communities through this service. Very excited to meeting you and your lovely pup!

Hi, I'm Judy and I moved here from South Africa 8 years ago. I have grown up with dogs most of my life and would love to have one of my own now but we have a mom and son cat duo and I don't want to risk scaring them off by introducing a dog into their space.
I live close to Groenendalsebos and I regularly walk in the dog section because I love watching how dogs play and interact. I can easily walk around there for over an hour. I'm sure any dog would love the chance to run and smell around the bos with me! I am also quite close to Meermond so I could take a dog for a walk on the lead around there and at the back of Herenboeren too.
I have a flexible work set up so I could walk dogs and do house visits pretty much any time between 08:00 and 15:00

I love cats, and even the most curmudgeonly of cats love me. I've had 2 of my own—my previous one of 27 years, and my current of 18 years; the secret is cats are powered by sunshine and love I'm especially good at finding the good scraches spots.
Not sure what else there is to say for 150 words, so here's a poem by TS Eliot about cats:
It isn’t just one of your holiday games; When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES. Such as Peter, Augustus, Alonzo, or James, All of them sensible everyday names. Some for the gentlemen, some for the dames: But all of them sensible everyday names, A name that’s peculiar, and more dignified, Or spread out his whiskers, or cherish his pride? Such as Munkustrap, Quaxo, or Coricopat, Names that never belong to more than one cat. And that is the name that you never will guess; But THE CAT HIMSELF KNOWS, and will never confess. The reason, I tell you, is always the same: Of the thought, of the thought, of the thought of his name: Effanineffable
