Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Tienhoven who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Tienhoven neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Tienhoven dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Hi there!
My name is Marcia, I'm 30, Portuguese, and currently living in Utrecht!
As an only child, I have had dogs and cats my entire life, mainly rescued ones. Growing up surrounded by pets shaped the person I am today and created a deep-seated passion for being around animals every day. Beyond my own pets, I have always volunteered at dog and cat shelters (both in Portugal and the Netherlands) to help as many animals as I can.
I am comfortable dealing with both dogs and cats of all temperaments. Throughout my years of volunteering and living with rescued animals, I’ve learned how to understand, educate, and care for animals with different behaviors and traumas. I am also the "go-to" person for my friends and family, frequently looking after their pets whenever they are away, so I am experienced in maintaining established routines and providing a stress-free environment.
In Utrecht, I live with my partner and our cat, Tahina (2), whom we adopted while I was volunteering for the regional cat shelter in Eindhoven, where we used to live.
I understand how hard it is to leave your best friend behind, and I promise to treat your pet with the same patience, safety, and abundance of love that I give my own.

(English below) Hoi!

Hi! I'm a 23-year-old medical student who would love to care for your dog or cat in my free time. I am a dog lover, and in my gap year I worked full-time at a doggy day care (Camp Bow Wow in the USA). In that time I gained experience working with all sorts of dogs (from mini chihuahuas to great danes), and following specific instructions from owners. I grew up abroad (in the USA) and I miss my own Cleo tremendously, she is a feisty but loving black labrador/dobermann mix ‍🦺. To fill this hole in my heart, I'd love to care for other dogs (and cats ) in my area.
I am prepared to service the areas of Utrecht Overvecht and Zuilen to take your dog for a walk or visit your home to feed or play with your pet. I have experience with both energetic and calm dogs. My Cleo is very energetic, so I am used to bringing her back down to earth when she gets a bit too feisty. From previous work at the daycare I have experience breaking up conflict between dogs. With anxious dogs I believe it's important to allow them to get to know me before I come into their space. I also have experience administering pills to dogs. When I'm walking your dog or I'm at your home, I adjust my energy level to fit your dog and make sure they are comfortable with me. I love going for longer walks with pups but of course can do any distance . I am mostly available in the weekends and the evenings. I hope I can meet your pet soon! ️

Hi! My name is Carolina, I'm from Spain living in Utrecht. And as the title says, i really do like animals way more than people! They teach us what life is really about!
Ever since my dog Baltazar passed away, I decided to make it into my mission to give as much love as possible to all animals, and thats the main reason why i started petsitting.
Ive been pet sitting for more than 5 years, all over the world! Spain, Brasil, Chile, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, are some of the places I have worked as a petsitter. I'm an expert with all types of breeds and personalities.
My main focus will always be the pet's safety making sure they always feel loved and protected! And of course playing around is part of the equation.
When i take care of them, they become my first priority!
I work from home so my times are pretty flexible! Dont hesitate to contact me at any moment if you need help last minute.
Can't wait to meet your beautiful furry friend ️

Prima!

I have grown up with two dogs and have been that one child EVERYTIME I had the day off school I would take them out for a walk. I grew up with two dogs from the same litter, a cat and three guinea pigs so having animals around has always bought me so much joe. I think there is nothing better than seeing a dog run and stretch their legs. I have since moved to the Netherlands and have missed that feeling a lot. I am used to smaller dogs and so would feel most comfortable walking small/medium sized dogs however a well behaved big dog could also be manageable.I love to walk myself so I know some walks in my surrounding area which have space and aren't confined to the city. Unfortunately I do not have a car and therefore if you were to pick my services I would have to be able to cycle or walk to your area if you wanted me to pick up and drop off. In addition, I am not comfortable doing home stays or sitting so this is dog walking is my main service. There is no doubt that I love dogs and to be able to walk and create new furry friends would be fabulous. If you have any specific requirements or further questions please don't hesitate to contact me. :)
