Since very recenty I moved from Amsterdam to Weesp and live here together with my partner Sander.
Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up, I had pets like a dog, hamster, and turtles. Today I enjoy looking after my sister’s two Jack Russells—gentle baroness Tina and her lively son, rebel Baileys.  Spending time with them is one of my favourite things and it only deepened my love for dogs. I'd love to be a dog walker as I simply love spending time with animals because of the joy, love, calmness they bring.&nbsp;

Hallo dierenliefhebers!
Ik ben Laura, 22 jaar oud en woon in Almere Poort en werk in Almere Kruidenwijk. Ik weet hoe belangrijk het is om een goede oppas te vinden voor je kat (of ander huisdier) en zorgeloos op vakantie of een weekendje weg te kunnen gaan, vandaar de keuze om dierenoppas te worden. Ik ben een echte kattenmens en heb zelf ook een kat, Thanos.

Ik ben momenteel zwanger, wat betekent dat ik zelf geen kattenbakken kan verschonen. Honden uitlaten of verzorgen is natuurlijk geen probleem. Mijn man kan wél kattenbakken verschonen; hij is Amerikaans en is zo nu en dan in Nederland. Als hij hier is, past hij met heel veel liefde mee op katten, honden en andere dieren.

Als ik oppas is dit bij de dieren thuis. Ik kan dieren uitlaten, maar ook gewoon urenlang spelen en knuffelen. Het uitlaten verschilt per huisdier: de ene kan uren wandelen, terwijl de ander na vijf minuten al moe is.
Wanneer ik bij een dier langskom, blijf ik eigenlijk altijd minimaal een uur. Huishoudelijke dingen laat ik dan niet liggen: ik leeg de prullenbak, geef plantjes water, etc.

Ik ben opgegroeid met katten en deze kwamen allemaal uit het asiel. Ik ken eigenlijk geen leven zonder huisdieren, van konijnen tot katten en honden.
Ik ben doktersassistent, dus ook medicatie toedienen bij huisdieren is voor mij geen probleem. Injecties, pillen of inhalatiemedicatie geven doe ik met liefde en zonder angst.

Stel me vooral al je vragen! Ik ben ruim van tevoren te boeken en kom graag langs om jou en je huisdier te leren kennen.

Hello animal lovers!
My name is Laura, I’m 22 years old and I live in Almere Poort and work in Almere Kruidenwijk. I know how important it is to find a good pet sitter for your cat (or other pet) so you can enjoy a carefree holiday or weekend away, which is why I decided to become a pet sitter. I’m a real cat person and I also have a cat myself, named Thanos.

I am currently pregnant, which means I cannot clean litter boxes myself. Walking and caring for dogs is of course no problem at all. My husband can clean litter boxes; he is American and visits the Netherlands from time to time. When he is here, he would absolutely love to help take care of cats, dogs, and other animals.

When I pet sit, it will always be at the pet’s home. I can walk your pets, but I also love to spend time playing and cuddling with them. The length of the walks depends on the animal.
When I visit a pet, I usually stay for at least an hour. I’m also happy to water plants and tidy up if needed.

I grew up with cats, all of whom came from shelters. My entire life has been filled with animals, from rabbits to cats and dogs.
I am a doctor’s assistant, which means I am comfortable giving medication to pets. Injections, pills, or inhalation medication are no problem for me and I do this with care and love.
