My name is Andre Borg, a 32-year old Maltese male from the island of Malta who has recently moved to a new life in the Netherlands.&nbsp;
Also father to a gorgeous Beagle named Olly (which is not here with me right now and I miss a lot!)
My love for animals has always been instilled with me since I was a kid. And now that I moved to a new country I feel like I am missing my best friend even more and more (at least until we rejoice!). I am continously aware that he might miss me as much as I do. But I know for a fact that he is getting all the love and care in the world, and that he is leading a happy and jolly life. And that is when it hit me! Why should I not provide the same love and care to all those animals out there that need it, at least for a few days? Until their bestfriend is back to hug and play with them again?
I can say I have been a full time pet owner for the past 7 years. I believe I can read their language through loads of literature and also experience itself.
I do believe that health is the number one priority for both humans and animals, so I will accept only vaccinated dogs into my care.

Hello! My name is Vince and I'm an international student doing my master's at Leiden University. I'm looking for a side job that will allow me to earn some income while maintaining a stable work/life/study balance. I love animals and find a lot of comfort in their presence. I have two cats and one dog at home and would love to make some new pet friends while I'm away. I volunteered at an animals shelter in the past. I was my responsibility to walk the dogs twice daily. The dogs ranged from small to large, and puppies to seniors. It was also my job to clean their kennels while their were away on walks. I also volunteered with the cat kennels as well, where I would clean the litter and feed them twice daily. I have experience will all types of pets and am willing to go for walks at any time of day during any type of weather.
I am available all day on Saturdays and Sunday. During the week, I am available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after 17:30 PM.&nbsp;


Hi, ik ben Sylvia, 48 jaar en ontzettend gek van dieren.
Ik heb veel ervaring met het verzorgen van verschillende soorten dieren. Ik ben zelf opgegroeid met honden, katten, vogels, konijnen, cavia’s en hamsters. Daarnaast heb ik zelf 2 hondjes.
Om werkervaring op te doen over verschillende soorten dieren, heb ik meegelopen met de dierenverzorgers van Dierentuin Blijdorp, het dierenasiel en een dierenarts.
De cursus konijnen welzijn, de cursus kattenverzorging en de cursus Kattenvacht Special heb ik met succes afgerond.
In september 2015 ben ik naar Portugal geweest om in een dierenasiel te werken als vrijwilliger. Hier heb ik de honden en katten verzorgd. Een asiel in het buitenland is heel anders dan een Nederlands asiel. Een ware cultuurshock. Ik ben dan ook blij dat ik daar dankbaar werk heb mogen doen en de honden en katten die tijd veel aandacht heb kunnen geven om hun leventje iets liefdevoller te maken.
Na een lange werkdag op kantoor vind ik het heerlijk om s'avonds de beestjes te verzorgen. Ik bloei daar helemaal van op.

Hi there! I'm Emma and I’m a lifelong animal lover who moved to Leiden in 2025 from South Africa with my little dog, Luna. I’ve grown up with pets all my life (including dogs, cats, rodents, and birds) and have several years of experience as a pet sitter back home.
I offer doggie daycare in my home during the week, which is perfect for owners who don’t want to leave their dog alone during the day when they are away. I work from home, so your dog will have full supervision, attention, and a calm, safe environment throughout working hours. I also offer overnight boarding (during both the week and on weekends).
Luna, my sweet 9-year-old female dachshund cross, is friendly and used to having other dogs around, she’ll happily keep your doggie company.
During the day, I take the dogs out for three walks (around 10am, 1.30pm and 4pm), usually to Ankerpark and Blekerspark, both just opposite my house (photos included). Both parks offer an off-leash dog friendly environment. This means plenty of exercise, fresh air, and enrichment. I also have a small patio where the dogs can explore and lay in the sun.
I can accommodate small to medium-sized sociable dogs in my home for daycare. I also look after birds and rhodents. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home while you’re away.&nbsp;
