Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Haren who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Haren neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Haren dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Hey, my name is Sarah, I'm an Irish exchange student looking to earn some pocket money. I come from a farm and have worked in a veterinary practice previously so I love animals! I have had my own dog Jessie for the last 13 years and I love to take her out! My motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from a deep love for animals and a desire to make a positive impact on their well-being. Each pet has its own personality, needs, and routines, and I enjoy getting to know them individually. I also understand the importance of reliability and responsibility, especially when people trust me with their beloved companions. Being a pet sitter allows me to combine my passion with purpose, offering peace of mind to pet owners and genuine companionship to their pets. I would love to be able to spend time with pets while being away from home!

Hello! My name is Ekaterina, and I’m a huge animal lover currently living in Groningen with my adorable French Bulldog. My passion for animals has always been a big part of my life, and I find so much joy in caring for them. Becoming a pet sitter feels like a natural step for me, as I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel loved, safe, and comfortable while their owners are away.

As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and caring to look after your furry family members. I treat every pet as if they were my own—whether that’s through playtime, cuddles, walks, or just keeping them company.

I’ve grown up around animals and have a deep understanding of their needs. For safety reasons, I only take in fully vaccinated pets into my home.

Hey pet-owners! :)
My name is Alessia, I'm 24 and from Germany. I moved to Groningen in 2022 and graduated from university this year.
I work about 3 days a week and always update my calendar before each month starts. Mondays I am always free, so we could arrange something more regular if needed. I really miss having animals around me and it's not the right time to have my own, I'd love to take care of yours and help you out!
I grew up with a dog and during my exchange year time the US I lived with three dogs, whom I absolutely loved spending time with. Now, my dad and his girlfriend own a dog that I see and play with whenever there’s a chance. A while back I also volunteered in Tanzania with turtles and lots of cats. We fed them, checked them for illnesses and gave each one a cute name. I really enjoyed and miss it a lot!
Since joining this app, I've already cared for a few cats and dogs, which has been such a lovely addition to my days
I’m offering to walk or sit your dog(s) whenever needed. I like long walks and being in nature, and having a dog along would make it even better! I can also look after your dog or cat while you're on vacation. I live in a quiet, family-friendly part of Groningen near Stadspark. I currently share an apartment with two other nice girls and I've added pictures of our living room so you can see the space in case your dog is gonna stay here.
Send me a message and we can arrange a little meet-up to get to know each other (and your furry friend ).

My name is Micaela Cardó, a 33-year-old Argentinian veterinary doctor, currently residing in Dublin. My lifelong passion for animals, both large and small, has driven my career and personal life. I grew up with countless pets at home, and I've had the profound experience of rescuing and caring for many dogs, cats, and even horses. This extensive hands-on experience has truly deepened my understanding of animal welfare and the unique bond we share with our beloved companions.
My professional background as a veterinarian provides me with comprehensive knowledge of animal health, behavior, and their specific needs. I am particularly adept at observing subtle changes in health or mood, ensuring your pet receives attentive and knowledgeable care. My approach combines professional expertise with a natural instinct for nurture and affection, allowing me to offer a pet sitting service that prioritizes their well-being and happiness.
My motivation to be a pet sitter is simply to ensure every animal receives the loving, professional care they deserve, even when their owners are away. I find immense joy in connecting with animals, whether through play, walks, or quiet companionship.
Regarding my previous experience, it is rooted deeply in animal care. From personal rescues to my veterinary practice, I have spent years dedicated to the health and well-being of a wide range of animals. I am naturally organized, responsible, and highly attentive to detail, ensuring your instructions are followed precisely.
For the safety of all pets, I only accept those that are duly vaccinated to guarantee a secure and healthy environment.
I look forward to meeting your cherished pets and providing them with exceptional care in Dublin.

Hi i'm Hannah! I’m a student living in Groningen in my second year, originally from Zimbabwe. I grew up surrounded by animals and the outdoors. My home back in Africa is full of life, with five dogs, nyalas, impalas, ostriches, and chickens all sharing the same big garden. Because of that, caring for animals has always been second nature to me.

I love walking and spending time outside in nature, so dog walking is something I truly enjoy. I’m patient, caring, and responsible, and I make sure every dog I walk feels happy, comfortable, and safe. I have experience looking after both small and large breeds, and I always take the time to understand each dog’s personality and needs.

Whether it’s a calm stroll or a more energetic walk, I’ll make sure your pet gets the best care and attention. I’m happy to walk vaccinated pets and look forward to meeting new four-legged friends here in Groningen!

I'm a university student studying biomedical science at the RUG, hoping to spend some of my free time doing some dog walking. While I did not grow up with a family pet due to parents having allergies, I have experience with walking and taking care of my grandma's lovely cairn terrier and my aunt's parson terrier! I love to run alongside dogs during walks and enjoy nature with them! I'm calm and cheerful, and never had any problems with dogs as they enjoy my company. As my studies can be quite stressful, I think spending time outside with a furry friend would make me feel a lot better. Dogs are so loving and fun to be around, I hope to make their day better too by taking them on a wonderful walk to keep both of us active! Most of my classes are in the morning but weekends are free and usually afternoons as well, but I can be flexible to an extent.

Ik zal mijzelf even voorstellen.
