Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Gronsveld who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Gronsveld neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Gronsveld dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Hey Dear Dog Owner!
My name is Franka and I'm a 21 year old second-year Psychology student. I have a 2 year old poodle back at home, who is living with my parents, therefore I unfortunately can't see her as often anymore, ever since starting my studies here in Maastricht. I really enjoy spending time with her and animals in general, therefore I had the idea to combine that with offering my help on here.
I am used to walking and taking care of different kinds of dogs, since we had another dog before Camilla, which was a Kromforländer. Also, back at home I often met up with my friends, to go on joined walks, with my dog and their dogs. Herr in Maastricht I used to walk my neighbors dog, who is a Mastiff. All of these dogs have a very different personality, mine for example is very easily scared so it is important to pay close attention to details that might scare her, to be prepared for a possible reaction. In general I think it is important to notice these differences in personality, to make sure to be safe on walks.
I also had Camilla living with me over multiple period of time before. Whenever my parents go on vacation or have to be somewhere, where they can't take her, she stays with me, which always works out great and is fun for both of us ;)
Besides the dog passion I like being outside in general, I enjoy walks and spending time at parks or near the water, preferably with my friends, my boyfriend or my family. I love having coffee and tea, therefore I often meet up with friends in one of the many great Cafés here in Maastricht.
Feel free to reach out to me, whenever you could use some help. Also, if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer anything! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your dog!
Best, Franka

I am a dedicated and loving pet sitter with a genuine passion for animals. As a dachshund owner, I have hands-on experience caring for a dog with a strong personality, which has helped me learn the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding individual needs. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy.

I offer attentive pet sitting services, including daily walks, home visits, and personalized care. During walks, I adapt the pace and length to each pet’s energy level, making sure they get both exercise and mental stimulation in a safe and calm way. For home visits, I focus on maintaining the pet’s routine by providing feeding, fresh water, playtime, and lots of affection, while also keeping their environment clean and comfortable.

I am comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, whether they are energetic and playful or shy and reserved. I take the time to build trust, especially with nervous pets, by letting them approach at their own pace. For health and safety reasons, I only accept vaccinated pets. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care so pet owners can feel confident and worry-free while they are away.

I’ve grown up in a family filled with pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, even the occasional rescue, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I learned how to treat them with patience, love, and the attention they truly deserve. That experience taught me to understand different personalities, needs, and behaviors, and it shaped the way I care for every pet I meet.

Now that I’m at university and my own dog is back home, I really miss having animals around me. Becoming a pet sitter lets me share my affection, energy, and companionship with pets who need it, while giving owners peace of mind. I’m reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. During walks, I love taking dogs to parks, exploring new paths, letting them sniff around, play, and burn off energy in a safe, fun way.

For safety reasons, I only accept vaccinated pets. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend!

Hi,
Groetjes Anne

Hi! My name is Amanda, and I have always had a deep love for animals. Growing up with both cats and dogs, I understand how important it is to give them the care, attention, and love they deserve. As a pet sitter, my goal is to make sure your furry friend feels comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away.
I offer pet walking services and will treat your pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s a fun walk in the park, playtime, or simply giving them some extra affection, I will make sure they get the exercise and companionship they need. I know that every pet has its own unique personality and needs, and I am more than happy to accommodate them.
If you’re looking for a responsible and caring pet sitter, I would love to help in the evening on weekday and afternoon on weekend! I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pet!

Hoi!

My name is Elisa, and I am currently a student at Maastricht University. I speak English and German fluently, but I also have some knowledge of Dutch. Up until now, I have always had pets and dogs around me. Prior to moving to Maastricht, I worked as a dog sitter and walker for three years. I gathered experience with a variety of dog breeds, such as herding, hound, sporting, and companion dogs.
Now, I sincerely miss my own dog and spending quality time with animals. Since I not only love animals but also nature, I think I might be a great fit for your dog. I believe proper walks through nature and fun playtime are at the core of every dog's happiness. I hope I can bring your dogs just as much joy as they bring me. For you, as a pet owner, I would like to be a trustworthy support in making sure you are at ease while your pet is under my care.
