Being around them, you quickly realize how unique they are, each with their own personality and emotions. I currently have two cats that I love dearly : Inès and Charlie I’m also very comfortable with dogs, as I regularly spend time with them through my boyfriend and people around me. Honestly, almost everyone in my circle has pets : cats, dogs, and even a pig! I’m used to helping family, friends, and neighbors by taking care of their animals when they’re busy or away.I work in architecture and I’m originally from Canada. I will be staying in the Netherlands for about 2 months at my boyfriend’s place, and I’d love to offer pet care services during my stay.I’m a calm, reliable, and gentle person, and I truly care about creating a safe and loving environment for animals. I offer visits and walks (around 30 minutes or more depending on your pet’s needs), including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, brushing, playing, and giving lots of affection and positive reinforcement.Spending time with animals is something that brings me joy. Hi! I’m Mert, and for the past five years, I’ve shared my home with a lovely cat who’s taught me a lot about animal companionship, patience, and joy. Spending time with animals has always been something that brings me peace and happiness. Whether it’s walking a curious dog or chilling on the couch with a shy cat, I genuinely enjoy getting to know their personalities and offering them care, play, and comfort.
Pet sitting and walking is a way to connect with animals and give them a safe, loving environment when their humans are away. To be honest, walking dogs is a great way to achieve my daily step goal as well. As a person who got help from others to care for my cat from time to time, I understand how important trust and communication are when it comes to caring for someone’s beloved pet. While I don’t have formal training, I treat animals with kindness, attentiveness, and respect.
