Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Assendelft who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Assendelft neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Assendelft dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Vraag gerust!

Hello, I am Alperen. I’m 29 and live in Westerwatering, Zaandam with my wife, Elif and our cute 9-year-old dog, Zuzu, a Beagle-King Charles mix. I've been taking care of Zuzu since she was a month old, so I know a lot about looking after dogs. I work from home, so I'm always around to give our furry friends lots of love and attention.

House visits:

If you need someone to check on your pets while you're away, I'm here to help! Whether your pet needs a quick visit or multiple visits during the day, I'll make sure they're well taken care of. I'll make sure they have enough food and water, play with them, and keep them happy. I'll follow your instructions carefully to make sure their routine stays the same.

Walks:

I also offer dog-walking services. I'll take your pets for a walk for at least 30 minutes, making sure they stay safe on their leash. If your pet gets nervous around other animals or in busy places, I'll be careful to avoid those situations. I want to make sure your pet feels comfortable and happy.

Additional Services:

In addition to taking care of your pets, I can also help with other tasks around your home while you're away. I'll water your plants, collect your mail, or do any other chores you need me to do.
Your pet's happiness and well-being are my main concerns, and I can't wait to take care of them. Let's make sure your pets are happy and you can relax, one step at a time.

Hello
My name is Marcela I'm a producer from Brazil living in Europe for 15 years now.

I was born with animals around me, initially dogs (Elda Bliska and Pingo) to then bringing in cats, birds, iguanas and farm animals.

We had a no-kill fram and built an area where we would give home and look after abandoned animals.

Now I live in Zaandijk with my two cats Donatella and Valentino, who I adopted in 2021.

After moving to the area, I realised that there are not many dog/cat sitters around and thought it would be a good opportunity to help people that, like myself, sometimes need a helping hand with their lovely pets.

Because I have my 2 cats I can't stay overnight or bring pets into my home, still they will have the best care attention possible in their own home

Playtime, feeding, cleaning (cats abs dogs) and talking dogs for walks.
I'll be really keen to understand the do's and don'ts around your pet and home to make sure they are as comfortable as possible.

Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

I’ve always felt a genuine love for animals, and becoming a pet sitter feels like the perfect way to turn that passion into something meaningful. What I enjoy most is creating a calm, comfortable experience for pets while their owners are away. Since I offer home visits, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as familiar as possible—feeding at the right times, giving them the attention they’re used to, and making sure they feel safe in their own environment.
Over the years, I’ve cared for the pets of friends, family, and neighbors, including dogs, cats, and smaller animals. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or prefers quiet companionship, I take the time to understand their personality and adapt to their needs. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive, and I truly enjoy building trust with each animal I care for.
Because I visit pets in their own homes, I don’t require them to be vaccinated. My main priority is their wellbeing and comfort. I’m committed to giving your pet reliable, loving care so you can leave home with peace of mind, knowing they’re in good hands.

My name is Gergo Borus, I am from Hungary, currently living in Heemskerk. I have never had a pet myself but I have always wanted. Before I adopt a dog I would like to learn how to treat them so I believe that regular dog walkings and possibly dog sittings would help me to learn how to be a great pet owner. My partner has always had dogs and soon we are looking to adopt a furry baby, but I know that I should gain experience and learn how to take care of anothet furry life before we welcome one to our life. Many friends have dogs around us and I always take the opportunity to connect with them but I would like to move out of my comfort zone and get to know other dogs as well. I would like to start with dog walking only.Looking forward to enter this exciting new territory and get to know many new dogs
