Hi there, my name is Ece and I'm currently a PhD student at the University of Groningen.  I moved to Groningen in 2020 to pursue my studies. One of the first things I did after moving here was to adopt a cat with my flatmate. We became proud cat parents to a lovely little boy who's now two years old. He's a smart little guy, but also quite mischievous at times!
Aside from my own fur baby, I also have a lot of experience with other animals. My family has a cottage house in my home country where we share our garden with two dogs and six cats. Sometimes, our neighbors' cats even join us, and we end up with a big group of feline and canine friends enjoying the sunny weather in our garden.
I'm motivated to be a pet sitter on Pawshake because spending time with animals is incredibly meditative for me. It brings me so much joy to see them happy and healthy, and I believe that animals have a lot to teach us about living in the moment and appreciating the simple things in life.
As a pet owner, I understand how important it is for you to feel comfortable and confident leaving your furry friends in the care of someone else. Although I don't have professional experience as a pet sitter, I have plenty of personal experience and a genuine love for animals.


Hoi, mijn naam is Rachelle en ik ben gek op honden! Ik weet hoe belangrijk het is dat jouw hond zich veilig en geliefd voelt, ook wanneer jij er even niet kunt zijn. Daarom bied ik graag mijn hulp aan als oppas. Of het nu gaat om een dagje uit, een drukke werkweek, of een langere vakantie: jouw hond is bij mij in goede handen. Zelf heb ik altijd huisdieren om mij heen gehad (hond en katten), dus heb ik inmiddels genoeg ervaring.
Ik ben zorgzaam, geduldig en pas me volledig aan de behoeften van jouw hond aan. Of hij nu houdt van lange wandelingen, spelen in het park, ik zorg ervoor dat hij niets tekortkomt. Ik neem de tijd om jouw hond goed te leren kennen, zodat hij zich snel op zijn gemak voelt.
De honden kunnen bij mij terecht voor een wandeling. Aan de hand van jullie wensen kijken we hoevaak en hoelang ik met de hond(en) zal wandelen.
Het Noorderplantsoen is mijn voortuin, dus kan ik met de honden heerlijk wandelen door het park. Handig om te weten; ik ben zzp fotografe en werk veel thuis. Daarom ben ik veel beschikbaar om de honden op te vangen. Daarnaast is mijn vriend echt een hondenliefhebber, dus krijgen ze genoeg aandacht! 
Heb je specifieke wensen of routines voor jouw hond? Laat het me weten, dan bespreken we samen wat het beste werkt. Meestal zijn er niet meer dan twee honden aanwezig, maar ook dit kunnen we van tevoren bespreken. Ik kijk ernaar uit om jouw trouwe maatje te ontmoeten! 

Ik zal mijzelf even voorstellen. Ik ben Eva, 21 jaar oud en wonend in de prachtige stad Groningen. Hier woon ik al 3 jaar zelfstandig. Daarvoor ben ik opgegroeid in een klein dorpje in Friesland. Hier woonde ik met mijn ouders, twee paarden, een hond en drie katten. Momenteel woon ik in een appartement midden in het centrum van Groningen. Ik ben een fulltime studente HRM aan de Hanzehogeschool. Ik heb een passie voor paardrijden, hardlopen en polefitness.Ik heb altijd al een grote affectie voor dieren gehad. Als kind altijd al te vinden geweest bij de geiten van de buren, bij de paarden op stal of met de honden spelend op het grasveld. Ik ben zelf ook opgegroeid met een hele beestenboel thuis. Momenteel heb ik zelf geen dieren, maar staat staat voor de toekomst zeker wel gepland.Omdat ik al mijn hele jeugd veel omgang heb gehad met dieren vanuit huis, maar ook regelmatig op de dieren van kennissen heb gepast leek het mij super om dit nu ook in Groningen te doen. Ik ben zeer verantwoordelijk en heb ervaring met verschillende grootte en soorten dieren. Ik vind het heerlijk om buiten te wandelen en dat is samen natuurlijk het leukst!. Omdat mijn appartement niet heel groot is, en enkele verdiepingen hoog is het niet mogelijk om bij mij thuis grote honden op te vangen. Op het moment dat dit op locatie kan is het natuurlijk geen probleem :). Er zullen meer foto's volgen. Je mag altijd een berichtje sturen als je vragen over mij hebt!

Hi! My name is Pei and I am from Taiwan. I am currently studying at RUG. Since I live very very far away from home and I miss my dogs terribly, I'd like to meet with some new furiends here in Groningen!&nbsp;

I grew up with 5 dogs in my life all raised from 1 month old and have had close bonds with them. Among them two were Dachshunds (Teckel), so I do have knowledge in looking after this breed in terms of their spine problem. I am also well-aware of the food taboos for dogs and are quite familiar with their emotions, expressions, and behaviors.&nbsp;
