I've been a cat sitter for two years now, but my story with cats goes back much further. I’m 31, and although I’ve been living in the Netherlands for two years, it still feels like I’m adjusting to this new chapter of my life. In an effort to adapt to a foreign country, its culture, and language, I’ve been working at Albert Heijn. However, my actual profession is managing post-sales customer support in the software industry, and I’m also pursuing a degree in Public Relations and Advertising remotely.

Back home, I have two beloved cats, a 10-year-old male and female. Both of them are neutered, and they’ve been a huge part of my life. When I moved here, I had to leave them behind due to a housing crisis, and it broke my heart. My female cat is especially dear to me—she’s survived leukemia twice, and the stress of moving her across countries felt too risky at the time. So, for now, my family is caring for them, and I visit whenever I can.

Sinds mijn hond is overleden heb ik besloten om zolang ik fulltime werk, geen hond meer te nemen. Dat doet me verdriet, maar het is niet eerlijk om een hond zo vaak alleen te laten. Ik mis daarom wel een hond om me heen en wil graag op jouw hond(en) passen op dagen/tijden dat ik wel thuis ben! Ik werk vaak thuis, dat is prima te combineren met een oppashond.
Ik ben opgegroeid met teckels, eigenwijze honden ben ik dus gewend. Ik heb geen ervaring met hele grote honden (maar ik vind ze wel lief). ik heb al best veel oppas ervaring, zo heb ik op een corgi, French bulldogs en mixjes gepast. Een gladharig teckel duo behoort tot mijn vaste gasten.&nbsp;Ik ben een ervaren hondenoppasser.
Mijn 14 jarige dochter is ook gek op honden. Ze kan het prima met de hond van mijn ouders (beagle) vinden. De hond samen uitlaten vindt ze gezellig. Mijn man houdt ook van honden, vooral als je er een beetje mee kunt ravotten. Van knuffelen met honden houden we alledrie!
We wonen in een rijtjeshuis met een afgesloten tuin, zomers staat de achterdeur meestal open, honden kunnen niet ontsnappen.
We hebben een makkelijk te onderhouden woonkamer, met een grintvloer. Mocht er een ongelukje gebeuren, is dit zo opgeruimd. Wat mij betreft mogen honden op de bank.
Een klein rondje om kan, daar is ruimte met gras en bomen. Het Schoterbos is een park bij mij om de hoek, daar laat ik honden graag uit, een ronde daar duurt zo'n half uur tot drie kwartier. In eerste instantie laat ik een hond niet los maar als het baasje aangeeft dat het kan en ik heb daar ook vertrouwen is dan is dat nog leuker voor de hond natuurlijk.
Overige diensten kunnen op aanvraag en na bespreking.
Ik zal geen vaccinatie check doen, het is aan de baasjes of ze dit willen of niet. 
Ik hou me aan voedingswensen en allergieën. Graag eigen voeding meebrengen.

Ik ben met name erg dol op honden en katten en zij gelukkig ook op mij.
Dat kan zijn omdat ik een open, sociaal en eerlijk persoon ben. Ook ben ik geduldig met alle dieren.
Regelmatig pas ik op katten wanneer kennissen op vakantie gaan, gedurende de dag geef ik de katten veel aandacht en eten naar behoefte van de kat en instructies van het baasje.
Op het eiland Mallorca heb ik vrijwilligerswerk in het asiel gedaan en de honden verzorgd en uitgelaten. Een mooie ervaring waarbij ik geleerd heb om te gaan met verschillende soorten honden.
Met grotere honden ben ik in eerste instantie wat afwachtender maar na mate ik de hond leer kennen en zie dat het een lieve open hond is zijn we de beste vriendjes.
Van kleins af aan ben ik opgegroeid met katten in huis.
