Each dog is unique, and each one has something to teach us. When I was in high school, we had an Alabay dog called Rochelle. She was calm and lazy, but had a good heart and never bit or barked at us. Despite her 70-kilo frame and menacing face, she was afraid of anything bigger than a Chihuahua. Now my wife and I have a cute little Labradoodle named Perzik, who is the bravest dog I know, zooming around, making friends with furry giants and chasing the most stubborn cats away.&nbsp;I have a lot of experience with my two dogs, but it's still not much. This is why my motivation to become a dog sitter is to get to know other peoples' dogs, learn from them, and use this to bring up my own puppy. And I believe that the best way to learn is to play and explore.I've had a lot of cats throughout my childhood too, and we have two cats that we left with our parents - boy Marsik and girl Nuytka. Both rescues and both very affectionate, just angels. A couple years ago we took care of two sweet kittens for three weeks, they were a blast. Last summer I house sat two older cats for a month. It was definitely different than dogs - you have to take care of them from a distance, not to be too intrusive, but give them affection when they ask for it. It was really nice to chill out with them on the couch or play in the backyard.
A little bit about my dog: at 11 months, he has a fixed routine, listens to us wery well at home (not so well outside :), knows a lot of tricks - from "come" and "paw" to "roll around", "play dead" and "middle". We are learning to not pull the leash and not to be distracted outside. It's a slow process, but we are having a lot of progress already. He is not very motivated by food, which is challenging, so we had to learn a few tricks ourselves, just to keep his attention on us. He loves playing with other dogs, and is always very friendly to humans and dogs alike.

Important Information: We kindly ask that all dogs are vaccinated and treated for fleas and ticks before their stay.
CATS: We cannot accept cats in our house. However, we can absolutely take care of your pet in its house in the surrounding area.
Additional Services: Depending on location and availability, I may be able to offer a free pick-up and drop-off service for your pet. Your dog’s comfort is our priority, so we request you provide their familiar equipment (e.g., bed, toys, crate) to make their temporary stay feel like home.

Hoi Lieve hondenbezitter. Ik ben Michelle en ik ben 26 jaar oud. Ik woon met mijn man en dochtertje van 1,5, duitse herder Nala van 3 en kat Shiva in Nieuw-Vennep. Ik weet hoe fijn het is als iemand je hond even kan uitlaten wanneer het jou niet uitkomt. Daarom wil ik jou ook graag helpen. Ik heb ervaring met alle rassen en maten. Ik ben al sinds kinds af aan gek op honden. Ik heb zelfs een Golden Retriever bij mijn ouders gehad en nu zelf een Duitse Herder.  
Ik kijk er naar uit om met jou beste vriend lekker een stuk te wandelen. Ik ben vooral beschikbaar op woensdag en op zaterdag of zondag. Andere dagen zijn in overleg. Mijn voorkeur heeft voor plaatsen zoals Nieuw-Vennep, Hoofddorp, Rijsenhout, Hillegom, Abbenes en Lisse.&nbsp;

Hi, I'm Judy and I moved here from South Africa 8 years ago. I have grown up with dogs most of my life and would love to have one of my own now but we have a mom and son cat duo and I don't want to risk scaring them off by introducing a dog into their space. 
I live close to Groenendalsebos and I regularly walk in the dog section because I love watching how dogs play and interact. I can easily walk around there for over an hour. I'm sure any dog would love the chance to run and smell around the bos with me! I am also quite close to Meermond so I could take a dog for a walk on the lead around there and at the back of Herenboeren too. 
I have a flexible work set up so I could walk dogs and do house visits pretty much any time between 08:00 and 15:00
