Top cities for cat sitting in The Netherlands

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Den Dungen Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Den Dungen cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Den Dungen cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Ever since I was 5 years old, pets have been an integral part of my life. Growing up surrounded by animals, I developed a deep-seated love and respect for them. Over the past 20 years, I have cared for dogs of various breeds and temperaments, each with its unique personality and needs. This hands-on experience has equipped me with the skills to provide attentive and compassionate care tailored to each dog.
My passion for dogs goes beyond just pet sitting; I am dedicated to their overall well-being and happiness. One of the key aspects of my care is providing basic training to my dogs myself. This includes essential commands like sit, stay, and come, as well as leash training and proper socialization. By doing this, I ensure that the dogs are not only well-behaved but also feel secure and confident.
In addition to training, I focus on creating a fun and stimulating environment for the dogs. From daily walks and playtime to cuddles and belly rubs, I strive to make each day enjoyable for them. My approach is to treat every dog as if they were my own, with the same level of love and care.
With my extensive experience and personal commitment to dog training, you can trust that your furry friend will be in good hands. Whether it's for a few hours or a few days, I am here to provide the best possible care, ensuring your dog's health, happiness, and safety.

Hey all, my name is Kate and I am a very pet-devoted sitter in den Bosch!
I have moved to the Netherlands 4 years ago from Serbia and work here on the IT sector, I'm actively learning Dutch, so don't hesitate to help me out
I adore all animals and have been doing my best to take care of them and help them all my life. I have been volunteering at a husky shelter for almost 5 years and have a vast experience of baby sitting other breeds of dogs. Also I have currently two cats living with me, that I have saved from a shelter. Being a cat parent I know how anxious it can be to leave the pet while traveling and I will do what is needed to provide them with care while you are away! Will also share videos and pictures with you so that you feel less nervous.
I am working most of the days from home, so quite flexible with my free time
I have experimented in giving medicine to dogs and cats and even giving them shots. We will work out what is needed in your case and I will gladly spend quality time with your furry friends.. Each visit is around 30 minutes, for cats. For dogs it depends on your breed and situation.
If you're looking for a trusted and experienced pet sitter book me right away!

Hi, I am Melis (29), and I’ve been an animal lover my entire life! I’m originally from Istanbul, a city where cats rule the streets and are a part of everyday life. In 2019, I rescued a tiny two-month-old stray kitten and became a proud cat mom. Taking care of him brought me so much joy and taught me the importance of love, patience, and responsibility when caring for animals.️
When I moved to the Netherlands last year, I sadly couldn’t bring my beloved cat with me because pets aren’t allowed in my apartment. I miss him deeply, and I also miss the everyday interactions with animals that were so common back home. That’s why I’ve decided to become a pet sitter! It allows me to connect with wonderful pets while helping owners feel at ease, knowing their furry friends are in loving hands.
Whether it’s walking your dog, playing with your cat, or simply being a comforting presence for your pets, I’ll ensure they feel safe, happy, and cared for!

Hoi!

Hello! My name is Maria, I am Portuguese and I live in Den Bosch with my partner and our beloved dog, Pepper.
As a dog owner myself, I found myself many times in the position of looking for someone that can take care of my dog while I am on a weekend away. All my experiences with Pawshake as a dog owner were positive, so I have decided to also be on the "other side" and accommodate as well. I started doing it during a period where I had more free time during the week but now that I am back to office work, I will be happy to help during the weekends.
Our dog is named Pepper, she is a friendly 10-year-old female Labrador who likes to play with other dogs. We usually go for a long walks in the afternoon and I would be happy to bring your dog along.
If you’re looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter, I’d love to help! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss further.
