Top cities for cat sitting in The Netherlands

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Bussum Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Bussum cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Bussum cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hey there!
I'm Ibo, a total animal lover living in Bussum with my awesome cat and cutest dog. I adopted my dog 2 years ago and I attended many trainings to learn about how to interact with him, how to build his confidence and how to understand him. My days are filled with fun times, whether it's playing with my furry family members at home or enjoying long walks in the neighborhood park, forest or by the seaside in the golden sunshine.
Through the dog behavoir trainings, I learnt more about the our furry friends: they need care, attention, socialization and sniffing (very important). However, when they are left alone at home, anxiety, loneliness can be hard to cop. Since I am working from home with a flexible schedule, I would be very happy to lend a warm hand.
As a pet sitter, you can count on me and keep you in the loop about all the adorable antics your furry friend gets up to. I work fully remotely so I am flexible about my schedule.
Can't wait to meet your fabulous fur buddies!

Hello! My name is Jam, and I am passionate about animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy at all times. I have a special place in my heart for pets, as I share my home with Nefer, my 4-year-old rescue cat from Cyprus, who is the sweetest and most gentle companion. Caring for Nefer has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of creating a calm environment for animals.
I have experience looking after cats and small pets, and I understand how unique every animal’s needs and personality are. I offer personalised care, ensuring your pet’s routine and preferences are respected. For the safety of all animals in my care, I accept only vaccinated pets.
My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for animals and my desire to help pet owners feel confident that their furry friends are in trustworthy hands. I look forward to meeting your pet and providing the care they deserve!

As a child, I always had pets around me—cats, dogs, ducks, chickens… all kinds of animals! I’ve always shared a special bond with them, and over the years, my love for animals has only grown stronger.

Four years ago, I moved from my hometown in Greece to the Netherlands, which meant leaving all my pets with my parents. Now, I live in Eemnes with my partner and our cat, Poe.

Ever since I had to leave my dog behind, I’ve really missed dog cuddles, long walks, and spending time with furry companions. I would love to share that love and care with your dog! We can go for walks in nature, visit parks, play together, and enjoy dog-friendly areas nearby.

I also enjoy teaching them little tricks, giving them lots of attention, and making sure they have the best time while they’re away from their favorite human.

Your pet will be in loving and trustworthy hands, and I’ll do my very best to make sure we have a wonderful time together!

Hi!It's Gökay I have dogs and cats since I was a child. They are always part of our family as other daughters or sons.I was awarded by a Husky girl 7 years ago by chance.. I adopted her.. And then when I met my husband, I got my second award.. He had also adopted a Husky girl too.. Now we are living with our two daughters Azur and Sascha in Naarden ️Both of them have different characters and you can't imagine how dramatic queens they are.. That reason I'm good at handling the nervous, sensitive, aggressive dogs/cats.. And also the dogs who needs to be carefully handled when we meet with other dogs during our walkings...As a mother of two, I know how hard to leave them behind and find somebody who you can trust!I work from home and right now I have a chance to spend more time with my husky girls. I had very good experiences at Pawshake as a customer. Now I want to be a part of the system as a pet sitter. What can I offer?I can offer daily walks with your pet(s), 30 minutes per walk. The time can be divided or extended when upon agreed in advance. I share updates for every visit. I will feed your pet(s), and renew the water every day. We will have some fun together. If you need any assistance for your indoor plants or posts, I can take care of them as well upon your request. For the home visits I will stay 30 minutes, I will feed your pet(s), renew the water bowl, if needed I can give your pet(s) oral medicine, clean the cat's litter box, have some fun with them, take videos and photos during the visit.Thank you for visiting my profile at Pawshake.Vriendelijke groeten uit Naarden P.S.: Ik leer Nederlandse taal. Ook in het Nederlands kan ik uw hond of kat communiceren

Ciao! We are a warm Italian family living here in the Netherlands, and our home feels a little too quiet without the pitter-patter of paws. Because we travel back to Italy often to visit family, we can’t have a pet of our own right now—so we pour all that bottled-up love into looking after yours!
For us, your pet isn't just a guest; they become a part of our extended family the moment they walk through the door.
I handle all the primary care and responsibility, while my two children—under my close guidance—love to provide the "extra" perks: endless belly rubs, gentle playtime, and plenty of affection.
We pride ourselves on being patient, respectful, and genuinely happy to have a furry friend around.
If you’re looking for a place where your pet will be cherished, pampered, and treated with true Italian hospitality, we would love to welcome them into our home.

Hi there! I'm an animal lover from Honduras and I am currently getting my masters degree in the Netherlands.
My motivation for pet sitting is my love for animals and my need to cover expenses. I am 33 years old, and have been caring for animals since I was 20.
Fun fact: I have 16,763 cat photos on my phone. ‍ I've been collecting them across the years, and they include both my cats and the fosters I've had along the years. But I love ALL animals.
I have 10+ years of experience in cat rescue. I can do anything from cuddling to feeding, playing, cleaning, caring for the sick, surgery recovery, visually impaired, cats of all ages. Also in taking pets to the vet, giving them medicine/treatment, making sure they're thriving. I have bottle fed orphan kittens and cared for old and sick cats. I have experience with playful, young dogs, but also with older and sick dogs.
Anything pet related, you name it and I'll do it. I'm kind, responsible and trustworthy, and will keep you 100% in the loop all the time.️
Hope to shake your hand and your pet's paw soon!

Vraag me gerust alles.JackEN:I grew up with cats, dogs and right from my childhood had many experiences with pets and how they understand how each cat is different and all have their own way of communicating
Living myself in Bussum, I can take care of your pets, share photos and can also go on walks if needed.

I have also experiences to make new pets to stay together and slowly make them used to each other in the same environment.
I can speak English and Dutch. I can share photos and also water your plants if needed.

Currently I have a sweet cat and she is trained to walk along like a dog :-) also she can sit till food is served and I can guide them too.

Feel free to ask me for anything.
