Top cities for cat sitting in The Netherlands

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Baarn Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Baarn cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Baarn cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Laat me vooral weten of jouw hond of kat speciale gewoontes, voorkeuren of behoeften heeft.

Hey ! This is Sercem. I live in Soest with my partner in an apartment with a big garden.
Animals have always been a big part of my life, and working as a veterinary nurse in Istanbul gave me hands-on experience with pets of all kinds. I learned how to handle animals with care, patience, and attention to their individual needs.
Pet sitting allows me to share that same care in a more personal, home-like setting. Whether it's walks, playtime, or cuddles, I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I only accept vaccinated pets into my home to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
I had a few dogs and cats back home but not in The Netherlands yet.I work at Apple and looking for something part time to spend my time with lovely animals !
I look forward to giving your furry friend the attention they deserve!

Hoi!
Extra diensten:
- toedienen van medicatie (in overleg)
- begeleiding van oudere of zieke honden
- heel veel knuffels en persoonlijke aandacht

Hi! I’m Aygun
I’ve always loved being around animals. They genuinely make me feel calmer and happier. Spending time with pets doesn’t feel like a task to me at all, I actually enjoy it and try to make them feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away.
I’m a very caring and attentive person, and I naturally notice small things, like changes in mood or energy. I know that every pet is different, so I always try to adapt to their personality, whether they are playful, shy, or just want a quiet space.
For dogs, I usually go on 2–3 walks per day (depending on their needs), and I make sure they get enough attention, movement, and rest. For cats, I focus on keeping their routine stable, giving them space, and spending quality time with them.

A typical day with me includes feeding according to your instructions, walks or playtime, and lots of calm companionship. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing.
I’m currently growing my experience as a pet sitter and also doing house sitting through other platforms, so I’m used to different pets and routines. I always follow instructions carefully and can send updates and photos if you’d like. I know how important that is
For me, this is not just about looking after a pet ... it’s about making them feel at home and cared for.
I prefer vaccinated pets and appreciate clear communication about their needs and habits.
Looking forward to meeting you and your pet 🤍

Hi! My name is Meme, I'm 24 and I'm currently doing my masters degree. I'm a friendly, flexible and energetic person who really enjoys the company of furry friends I live in a small but cozy apartment in Baarn with my partner and Bobbie, my lovely (and loud) beagle We adopted him from an animal shelter earlier this year and it's the best decision we could've ever made. He's the happiest dog you'll ever meet. I've always been surrounded by dogs and I've always treated them like my best friends. I have a small Shih Tzu back in Valencia (my hometown). I try to visit her as often as possible since she's getting older (she's turning 14 this year🥲). I love being in the presence of dogs which is why I would love to become a dog sitter. I will always make sure to give them the proper care, attention and love they need:) Please feel free to reach out to me and ask anything!
A bit of my everyday life with my beagle:
We start with a walk around 08:30 around the neighborhood. After the walk, he has breakfast. We play for a bit. Then, around 12:00, we go for a longer walk. Usually, we go to a dog park nearby because he can run without the leash and he socialize with other dogs. He loves making new friends Throughout the day, I ask him to do different things. I trained him to give me the paws and to give high fives. He always expects a little treat in return as you can imagine We have a short walk with him before dinner. After dinner, he loves playing with his small ball. I always throw the ball or hide the ball. He enjoys searching for the ball since he thinks he is a detective The good thing about living in Baarn is that there is a very nice forrest in which dogs love to wander around and find different sticks and branches.

I will provide a similar service/experience to all dog I will take care of. We will go on 30 minutes walks during mornings, afternoons and evenings. If they stay over at my place, we will play games with the ball and other dog toys. Bobbie is very friendly so he likes having dogs around. My home daycare runs from 09:00 until 15:00-16:00. I can pick them up if the home address is in Baarn. If they stay for more than 3-4 hours, please provide some of their toys (they might feel more comfortable and at home) and food if necessary. I will provide snacks for them Please mention if they have any dietary restrictions or preferences beforehand. If any emergencies occur, I will contact the owner immediately. I'm available Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

As a child, I always had pets around me—cats, dogs, ducks, chickens… all kinds of animals! I’ve always shared a special bond with them, and over the years, my love for animals has only grown stronger.

Four years ago, I moved from my hometown in Greece to the Netherlands, which meant leaving all my pets with my parents. Now, I live in Eemnes with my partner and our cat, Poe.

Ever since I had to leave my dog behind, I’ve really missed dog cuddles, long walks, and spending time with furry companions. I would love to share that love and care with your dog! We can go for walks in nature, visit parks, play together, and enjoy dog-friendly areas nearby.

I also enjoy teaching them little tricks, giving them lots of attention, and making sure they have the best time while they’re away from their favorite human.

Your pet will be in loving and trustworthy hands, and I’ll do my very best to make sure we have a wonderful time together!

Hi there! I'm an animal lover from Honduras and I am currently getting my masters degree in the Netherlands.
My motivation for pet sitting is my love for animals and my need to cover expenses. I am 33 years old, and have been caring for animals since I was 20.
Fun fact: I have 16,763 cat photos on my phone. ‍ I've been collecting them across the years, and they include both my cats and the fosters I've had along the years. But I love ALL animals.
I have 10+ years of experience in cat rescue. I can do anything from cuddling to feeding, playing, cleaning, caring for the sick, surgery recovery, visually impaired, cats of all ages. Also in taking pets to the vet, giving them medicine/treatment, making sure they're thriving. I have bottle fed orphan kittens and cared for old and sick cats. I have experience with playful, young dogs, but also with older and sick dogs.
Anything pet related, you name it and I'll do it. I'm kind, responsible and trustworthy, and will keep you 100% in the loop all the time.️
Hope to shake your hand and your pet's paw soon!
