About Anusha
My name is Anusha Rana. I am a 21 year old student at Leiden University. I am from Kathmandu, Nepal. I wanted to be a pet sitter here in Leiden because I feel happy around animals and I would love give my time and care whenever possible. I am not a very outgoing person so I usually have the time during weekends to take care of the animals as well!
I love the energy of animals, I especially love being around dogs and cats. I have grown up with dogs my whole life, and all of them have been adopted dogs because I feel great empathy for them. I worked and volunteered in an animal shelter a couple of years ago, so I am quite used to taking care of animals, especially dogs. I can assure that I am able to keep calm and figure how to take care of animal if and when a health/safety emergency arises. I will dedicate myself to creating a comfortable and safe environment for pets under my supervision, ensuring not only their physical well-being but also their emotional needs.
My services:
I will be taking dogs on walks (I am usually free in the evenings, and during the weekend). I will take care of one dog per day. The walks can be 1-2 hours long in the evenings (after 5 pm). I will bathe them if asked. I will keep them for a night or two at my place. I share a house with three other people who are also used to having pets around. I have my own room where there is space for the pet to sleep. There is a small park/walking area in front of my house where I can take the dogs out for walks. It is a safe area where other dogs also walk. I am also willing to stay at the owners place for a night or two to take care of their pets (during the weekends). I am mostly able to take care of dogs, but I don't mind taking care of other pets as long as proper instructions are given to me. I can also water the plants if asked. There is space in my house for the dog to relax and walk around as well, but it mostly a cozy home.
