I am currently a Ph.D. student at Wageningen University in the Sociology department and I love animals. I am originally from Florida but I have lived in the Netherlands since 2016. I have grown up with cats, dogs, snakes, and horses taking care of them myself although currently it is just me in the Netherlands. I miss having pets and I miss my ‘puppies’ back home. Although they aren’t exactly puppies. They are both 9 years old, but they are my family and I miss them dearly. It is for this reason that I joined Pawshake. I enjoy animals and can't think of a better way to help ease the financial burden of a Ph.D. then to pet sit.

As a student, I will be working mainly from home and do not keep regular office hours. This fortunately leaves me with flexibility where I can help and be available for pet sitting and care on a daily basis. I can easily manage daily dog walking and wouldn’t mind the company of a cat as I start the writing process. I am willing to travel to you or have animals here in my apartment both during the day and overnight. My apartment is not exactly large but I live next to a park and near plenty of nice farm areas for walks. I love to get outside regardless of the weather so playing fetch in the rain would be great fun and also good excersize!

I am experienced with both cats and dogs as well as with other animals. I've had snakes growing up so I can handle reptiles. I have also riden horses since I was six and worked in the stable when I was sixteen so I am capable of taking care of horses as well.
