Hi! I'm Malíka.

I'm Dutch, but write in English so everyone can read!

Since I was a little girl I have wanted a dog, my mother just invariably said no. this just never stopped me and I have always been looking for ways to have a little dog anyway. If it wasn't babysitting a friend's dog, it was that I would go past doors and ask if I could walk their dog. When I went to university, I lived in a large student house, after which I drove everyone crazy asking if we couldn't get a dog after all... Of course the answer was no, and thankfully so, because that house was far too small. I couldn't believe my luck when a friend took a sweet golden retriever puppy and suddenly we saw each other very often and I babysat the little monster very often. Unfortunately, this sweetheart suddenly died of heart problems. I miss loving a dog immensely and would love to fill this void.

I am currently out of my small student house and have a place of my own, where a dog could definitely stay. I don't have a garden, unfortunately, but I like taking long walks and there are several places around my house I can go to for a little bit of nature. 

I am often home for big parts of the day as I am currently busy writing my thesis. This makes for a lot of flexibility and opportunities to babysit a dog. I'm usually available in the mornings and during the day, and work 3 nights a week.
