Dear pet parents, my name is Kate, I am 22 years old and I am from Latvia, EU. Right now I am taking my bachelor degree in the Netherlands in the field of Artificial Intelligence :)

The dog was the main dream of my whole life (and to this day it remains :)).

But, unfortunately, it was not destined to come true, as my father had a very strong allergy and I was not allowed to have any animals larger than a parrot or a hamster)

When I was a teenager, I realized that even though I can't have a dog at home, there are still opportunities to just spend time with them. And I started working as a volunteer at the animal shelter. For the most part, I walked the dogs, socialized, trained them, and sometimes helped with the cleaning. I worked there for about 5 years.

It was emotionally difficult, I wanted to take every dog, although the conditions at the shelter were good, this could not replace a loving family. Often I felt guilty before them, but I realized that even though I could not take them, it’s better at least such help than no help at all.

Also for the last 2 years, I was among the organizers of the festival for dogs and their owners in Riga - Frenchfest.

I offer dog walking, which lasts usually

40- 45 minutes, but of course, it depends on the dog’s need and the agreement with you. Home visits to your pets at your home, each of the visits is about 30-40 minutes.
